Directions

Following cleansing with DermaVeen Hair + Scalp Extra Hydration

The next day, my hair feels incredibly clean, healthy, and deeply hydrated. I can definitely tell the hyaluronic acid is working its magic!

It was also very soothing on my scalp which can be prone to itchiness. Would recommend. I received this product from Dermaveen to trial.

The scent is quite plain and unremarkable, I prefer hair products and conditioners with a more pleasant fragrance, it does not need to be strong. My dandruff did start to return while using this, and my hair became oilier quicker. On the positive side, it does leave my hair feeling soft, smooth hydrated. Using this together with the shampoo, i felt my hair was getting oilier quicker

For my hair itself, this conditioner was okay, nothing special but not the worst I’ve used either. The scent is very light and doesn’t linger so if you’re sensitive to fragrance, this could be a really good option for you. I’m going to pass on what’s left in the bottle to someone in my family who may have a better experience with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Soothing Scalp Relief with a Minor Trade-Off [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My scalp is usually very dry and itchy, so I really appreciated how gentle and hydrating this product was. It provided great relief for my scalp, leaving it comfortable and moisturized. However, it did leave some residue on my hair, which wasn’t ideal, but the scalp benefits outweighed that downside. I used this alongside the Extra Hydration Shampoo, massaging it into my hair and letting it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Overall, it delivers a nice level of hydration and scalp comfort, and I’m gradually getting used to the slight residue on the ends of my hair.

All in all, a fine product, that I will be finishing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from GENTLE FORMULA I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now, hoping it would help with my dry, sensitive scalp. While it did soothe some of the itchiness, I didn’t notice a huge improvement in flakiness or overall hydration. It’s definitely gentle, which I appreciate, but I was expecting a bit more relief. The shampoo has a nice creamy texture and lathers just enough without feeling harsh. The conditioner is lightweight and easy to rinse out, though I wish it were a little more nourishing. After washing, my hair felt clean but not overly soft, and at times, there was a slight residue if I didn’t rinse really well. Over time, my hair felt a bit smoother, but not dramatically different. It’s a solid option if you have a sensitive scalp and want something mild and fragrance-free, but if your hair is on the drier side, you might need something more moisturizing. Would I recommend it? Maybe, if you’re looking for a super gentle formula that won’t irritate your scalp. But if you’re after deep hydration, this might not be the one.

It isn’t moisturising enough for my hair. I have bleach blonde hair and I need a bit more nourishment than this can provide for me unfortunately. While I did really like the shampoo, this conditioner just didn’t meet my needs. I think I’ll be reaching for a hair mask next time instead of using this conditioner. It’s not a bad product, just not the right fit for my hair type.
