Directions

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me unfortunately [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For context, I have combination skin with an often oily T-zone but can be dry/peeling elsewhere especially with use of repetition. Let’s start with the pros: this serum tint was a perfect shade match for my skin and I love the fact that it contains good ingredients for my skin like vitamin C, vitamin E and ginger root. I experienced no reactions to this product. It also has moderate-to-high coverage which is more akin to a foundation than I expected. Now onto the cons: unfortunately, while trialling this product, I was experiencing a bit of skin flaking around my nose and this product really caked around any uneven skin texture and highlighted the flaws. If you are using this product, I highly recommend preparing your skin to be a perfect canvas. Also, after a reformer Pilates class where I worked up a light sweat, I found the product slid off my face around my nose area where I was secreting more oil. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to anyone else with oily or combination skin. It may be more suitable for those with dry or normal skin types who do not sweat as much as I do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for textured skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sadly this product did not work for my rosacea, textured, sensitive skin. The tint immediately separated on my skin, even when I experimented with other primers and moisturisers. I have to say that the serum itself was illuminating and gave a lovely glow. The colour was a perfect match and blended easily into a lightweight finish. There was no white cast or oiliness as there can be with other tints that have SPF. I would recommend this to other people who don’t have textured skin - it seems it is just not compatible with my skin.
