This is the brow product I have been searching for, for years and I finally found it. An easy-to-use product that gives soft seamless brush strokes to build the perfect brow. I love how you can use this product to create either a soft everyday look or a bold occasion look depending on how you build it (and probably what shade you use). I used to spend a fortune getting my brows done, and this gives me such a similar look to a salon-done brow, at a fraction of the cost. I would 100% recommend this, and I will be purchasing this over and over again!

The maker has a very thin tip that allows me to draw hair-like strokes in the gaps of my eyebrows for a more naturally filled look. The Ash brown shade is perfect for my dark brown hair. My favourite part of this product is the clear gel because it had no white cast and didn't leave my brows feeling crunchy. I would recommend using both of these products as the gel does a fantastic job of setting the liquid brow strokes in place to avoid smudges. Also i love the tiny brush of the gel applicator. It gives a nice precision application. I would highly recommend this product as it very beginner friendly and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was easily identifiable, with straight forward ingredient listing and easy to follow instructions. A two step process and very simple to use. I loved that there is such a great colour selection for almost all hair colours. And taking into consideration all the other products available to purchase in today's market I feel it was actually a great selection to choose from. From a price point perspective , you're getting a well know brand with a great reputation and quality ingredients for a very affordable price. This is definitely a cost effective way to give yourself that just left the salon feel with out the stress of appointments and finding time, whilst saving money and having that flexibility of doing it yourself in the comfort of your own home. The applicator itself was double ended, one end with the brow gel and the other with the coloured tip. The tip felt very much like a felt tip pen, very smooth and went on super easy, apply a bit of pressure for darker thicker hair type strokes and lighter pressure for lighter hair type strokes. You can go over the strokes if need be without any product removing or smudging. After following the instructions allow to dry and apply the brow gel in an upwards direction and adjust how you would prefer. The gel applicator was small and picked up my tiny hairs! I loved that. My brows were literally set and forget! They stayed put all day! Even through the rain and humidity. I would absolutely recommend this product and I will definitely continue to use it.

I was eager to try out the new build a brow by Maybelline and it has been incredible! One side has the eyebrow pen and the other is the eyebrow gel to apply over your brows and keep them in place. I normally use eyebrow powder and sometimes pomade but one thing I didn't like is that it's noticeable that I've filled in my brows. Sometimes you want to create symmetrical, filled in brows without anyone knowing that you've filled them in. The eyebrow pen is the perfect product because the thin tip creates the illusion of eyebrow hairs with the thin strokes. I just use it to fill in the more sparse areas at the tail end of my brows, in the front and some areas in the middle. I apply it very lightly and I find that this is the best way to create the filled yet natural looking brows that I'm trying to achieve. The shade matches my eyebrows really well so it blends in seamlessly. After using the eyebrow pen I have become a huge fan and it's something that I would definitely repurchase.

Gel sets in very well giving nice look. I was wondered with its long lasting quality as it stays until i removed it. The color goes really well with my brow and it gives a natural look. I use it for everyday base and amazed with the brow look it gave. As it comes in two in one pack, i must say its very handy. Doesnt take much time to apply and it perfectly finishes the look. Perfect for the begginners as its very easy to apply and gel finish gives the perfect look.

The pen side is very pigmented and precise for fine lines to achieve the most natural look and the clear gel keeps all the hairs in spot! I have also used the gel on its own when in a rush and it helped my eyebrows look a lot more put together. The only reason it’s not 5 stars it’s because if you are not careful and take your time with the pen you can quickly overdo it which has happened to me on the first use as I wasn’t using a pen of this sort so far.However I will note that since receiving this product I have reached for it daily and it has replaced my more high end product. I definitely recommend it!

There was no fade in the product, very long-lasting throughout the day. The shade I trialled was 257 Medium Brown. The shade seemed to be lighter than my other medium brown brow products, therefore it was a bit light to use on more bare parts around the brow, such as extending the end of the brow, and had to be used along with other darker products. Despite being lighter in shade, it indeed delivered a very natural result. The product was very buildable with colour, so even though it was lighter in colour, I was able to go over the product a few times to make it darker without having to worry that it would look stiff. The two-in-one design definitely makes a difference compared to similar products in the market. And the overall product was very beginner-friendly in filling in sparse areas of the brow, very hard to go heavy hand on it! I particularly enjoyed the pen tip as it helped to precisely extend along the brows. The brow product was the most long-lasting out of my other brow products, which are mostly in powder, crayon and pencil form. The product dries down within seconds upon application and lasts through the day! I particularly enjoyed the fine tip balanced with the natural shade, so it was easy to apply without making any mistakes. The two-in-one design of having a brow gel on the other end was something that stood out to me and was convenient for travelling. I would most certainly repurchase this brow product as I imagine it would be a perfect product especially for hotter, sweaty seasons. The longevity and fine tip of the product really caught me in!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maybelline Build a Brow product is a fabulous two in one product that I have thoroughly enjoyed having in my make up kit the last few weeks. Such an easy product to apply, I absolutely love the fine tip of the brow wand to create small natural feathery lines rather than the thick smudgy you often get by using a standard brow pencil. I also really loved that it’s a two in one product, so very easy to throw in the handbag and reach for if you just need to do a touch up. The gel was great, easy to apply and kept my brows in place all day. The colour I trialled was Medium Brown which was a great match for my fairish/blonde complexion and looked very natural. Overall I think this is a great product to have on hand and very easy to use to create a natural brow. My only concern would perhaps be, how long it may last for but so far a few months in and it’s still holding up well!

Depending on how I use it, I can get a natural look or brows that are more bold and defined. For everyday, I actually use it opposite to the recommended order. The product states to use the liquid tip then the gel, however I found that this didn't give me as much hold as I'd like (my brows are straight and fairly stubborn). Instead, I would run the gel through my brows both ways and shape them, then add some hairlike strokes with the liquid tip just to fill in some gaps. The colour is almost a perfect match for me - I would recommend going up a shade if you're unsure though. I got the shade Deep Brown, but I would describe my natural colour as more of a medium brown. Only downsides to this product are: the price - it's kind of expensive, but you are getting 2 products in one, so it's justifiable; the hold of the gel - it's not budge proof by any means, this isn't the product for you if you need a strong hold; the liquid tip - it occasionally lets out too much product, but that could be down to user error. Essentially, this product is worth a try and I will consider buying it again when I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the 2 in 1 build-a-brow to trial from the beauty crew and I enjoyed the experience. Application was super easy and I liked the soft felt tip of the brow applicator. My brows stayed in place all day and with the clear gel, it gave my brows the on-fleek look. Very impressed with the staying power. No smudging either. I find you have to press a little hard to get product out but it is a buildable product so it requires you to go over spots or be a bit more heavy handed. This is due to the soft felt tip. It did fill most of the sparse areas of my brows. I do wish they had a taupe shade as this is the shade I usually use. The soft brown was pulling too warm/red for me.

The clear keeps everything in place and the colour. But it's just a bit too much. Makes my eyebrows look like they are completely fake after adding the clear. Have tried to use less but very difficult to apply with the brush. This product would be amazing if the clear and rhe applicator is modified to look more natural. The colour matches my own great. Near perfect. The easiest match I've ever had. Great little addition to my routen. Will probably purchase again to fill in any brow gaps I have......

Available in multiple colours and easily found online and in-stores. My eyebrows are black although I prefer to use a dark brown colour to help fill in, I like a full look. The applicator allows me to apply fine strokes to the gaps in my brows, giving a natural look. A steady hand is best when applying and the colour dries relatively quickly. I'm certainly not a professional at application and I am still working on my technique but this product is one of the better ones I have used. Once the product has dried, time to sculpt the desired look and the brows will set. No need to rush this process, the product won't set too quickly, get the perfect brow look. Once the solution has set, it stays the whole day without adjustment. Absolutely recommend.

My hair tone is fair and as a result, I have often joked that I don't have any eyebrows. I do... they are just incredibly blonde and incredibly fine (albeit they seem to grow sporadically). So, with this in mind, when I say I personally know the struggle with eyebrow make up, believe me, I know the struggle! Let's start with the quick answer you're looking for, would I buy this again? YES! After many, many attempts at different products, I settled on the tried and tested simple eyebrow pencil and then if I was going out for a long day, some eyebrow gel on top. But let's face it, no matter how sharp you get that pencil, it is never going to give you hair like strokes. Enter the build-a-brow! A super fine tip and a smooth application immediately made me look like I had decent eyebrow hairs.. me! I loved being able to apply extra "hairs" where they are lacking and my eyebrows actually looked full! The best part was, I didn't need to reshape using concealer, it saved me so much time. What I would say though, is make sure you are gently applying the product, there is no need to press down or try to get more product out... Take your time on the first application! The gel application afterwards was a lot of fun, I styled my eyebrow hairs ladies and gentleman! It felt like they were not moving and I love that. No one likes a sweat removed brow. They did not however last the full 24 hours. As a busy mum, I am often either running to the office (I am always late), or chasing my almost 2 year old around and all the fun stuff in between, your girl needs a brow that will stay! But unfortunately, at the end of the day they were a little patchy (this might be just my application of it, and please note that I also do not use setting spray). The blonde shade for me was perfect! I often find that the blonde shade can be a bit of a hit and miss, not in this case and I am super happy with the price point. Does this compare to having my brows professionally done? The way it looks, yes I think it does but the longevity not so much. Overall though, big hit!

The only set back was the actual colour, I found I was I was a shade between deep brown and black brown, so the colour wasn’t a perfect match for me and to me it was blindingly obvious. Having said this, in every other way I would use this again, the functionality of the gel and the fine brush is fabulous. Saves having 2 different items taking up space in the make up bag. I have tried a lot of eyebrow products and this is up there with my top two. The brush is also super realistic in the brush strokes, filled in the gaps perfectly and didn’t make me feel like I’d gone overboard.

I just love the Maybelline New York Build-A-Brow. The amazing fine tip makes it easy to draw hair like strokes and the shade is perfect, very natural looking. Gives a very perfect fuller looking natural brows in no time. The sealing gel makes the brow last longer until the face next wash. My eyebrows looked very natural but gave them a fuller effect. The only thing which I didnt like is the sealing gel leaving a bit of a residue when dry. I will definitely recommend this product, as it g8ves very neat looking brows without much effort.

I can easily draw out strokes using the tiny precise pen nib. I use product heavy handily and I love that this pen dispenses the product slowly so I don't end up making my brows look unnatural. This pen just helps to dispense enough product to make your brows look natural and clean. It is so easy to use . It comes with a gel which you can use to set the product. I love the spoolie that comes with it because it also helps to comb my brows in place. I found that the product set well and did not blead or smudge. I love the shade range and found black brown was the perfect shade for me. This is one of the best brow products I have used. I love how I can draw strokes easily and it feels my thin brows and makes them look fuller. When washing the makeup off it needs a little bit of effort to wash this out as I found the first time after I washed my face and wiped my face with a towel I could see that my towel got black marks from the product still being there on my brows.

It can create hair like strokes and depending on how much pressure you use, you can create strong dark lines or light lines that blend into your brows. The lines really blend in and look very life like. The gel is pretty basic and is quite small in comparison to regular eyebrow gels. I wouldn't say the gel is terrible but it isn't a stand out. It does the job. The convenience of having both in the product is great for travel purposes or if you are looking to minimise on the amount of products you want to own.

My usual go-to for my eyebrows is a powder, which I often find makes my eyebrows look 'blocky' and I find myself trying to remove some of the powder afterwards to give myself a more natural overall look. This product was fantastic in that it allowed me to fill in any gaps in my brows, as well as give me that natural brow look that I am going for. The application of this product is super easy, and the brush tip allows you to spend time lightly feathering in your brows if you wish. The fact that it also comes with a gel to lock-in your eyebrows afterwards is a plus. I did find myself going over my brows again with a brush just to touch them up but that isn't really necessary. I also found that the colour I got, medium brown, matched my natural hair colour perfectly which was a bonus. My only reason for giving 4 stars is due to the price of the product, and the amount that comes in the pen. I find I am already slowly running out and I don't feel that I have overly used it that much. Overall, I loved using this product and will look out for it in stores (hopefully on sale!)

This is different to any brow products I have used before. The pen has a very fine and very flexible tip and on the other end is a gel to finish off the brow. When I first opened the product and drew with the pen I wasn’t sure that it was working. I have very dark brows so I couldn’t see that any product was coming out. Eventually I started seeing more of the product and colour. You really have to get the movement right and also draw the brows in slowly over time. It does give a more natural look than a pencil or a pomade does. If you want that very natural look then this is a great product but if you want a bold brow, it may take a while for you to fill in the brows to create a bolder look. The gel brush is quite small (smaller than a mascara brush) and I quite like it. It helps finish and set your brows without feeling crunchy. Although if you do apply too much it can start feeling crunchy. Overall I quite like this but you it does take time to fill in the brows

Prior to this I was using only pencils - Shu Uemura and Anastasia were my favourites. As a pencil girl, this is actually quite daunting to think about using liquid, mainly with pencil it was an easier way to 'build' the colour but also if I screwed up, it was an easy hand smear away and start over. I was surprised at how easy it was to use the gel tip - I guess I thought it would be more rigid like my Stila liquid eyeliner.. but it was quite easy to mould. The colour can build as well, but I found the initial colour enough for my eyebrows as I didn't want the fake 'tattoo' look that a lot of people had. Overall, this was a good experience and something I would keep using - but if I'm honest, I still feel pencils give me the most natural brow look possible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to trying this Maybelline New York Build-A-Brow, as I have not used a product like it before and I was hoping that it would give my brows the fuller appearance that I was looking for. I was after a natural-looking colour that would be easy to apply and long-lasting, and I was very pleased with the results I received when using this product. Obtaining a fuller, fanned look for my brows was quick and easy using the pen applicator, and the colour, 262 black brown, was a perfect match for my natural brow colour. The things that I particularly loved - that the product lasts for up to 24 hours with the use of the sealing gel, that it is waterproof and also sweat-resistant and smudge-resistant. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a fuller brow look, which is easy to achieve, and I would also recommend this eye makeup to anyone who prefers a vegan formula, as there are no animal-derived ingredients.

I don't like to spend too much time on my brows - I just quickly run a brow mascara through to add some fullness and a touch more colour. Mine are quite fair so I found the shade Blonde to match quite well and it gives just enough colour whilst still looking natural. The fine tip applicator allows for precision in creating that fuller brow effect and it stays put all day long. I like that on the other end is a spoolie for combing through your brows - it makes it so much more convenient. It's a nice product, but I don't think it's worth the price tag.

I used the shade dark brown, which is a warm brown tone, and suited me very well. The brush is similar to a liquid eyeliner felt pen brush. You have the ability to use lightly for natural filling, or heavier to really colour in your brows, depending on how you like your brows to look. I found that light brush strokes created hair like lines that looked the best for me. The product is very buildable. The brow pen is also very forgiving and you don’t need to be a brow wiz to master this product. The colour doesn't smudge throughout the day and is very long lasting, but comes off easy with cleanser. The other end of the pen is a small spoolie brush in a clear brow gel. The gel stays clear and does not give off a white cast like many clear gels do. The brow gel did hold my brows in place nicely at first, however I found that it did not hold my brows as well as other products do, especially if I am wanting an all day look. Overall I would definitely recommend this product for its affordability, as this brand is often on sale somewhere, and ease of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Phaedra K. from Maybelline New York Build-A-Brow [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] looks very natural when used correctly.Lasts a very long time in my opinion.When shaping and filling in my eyebrow it was very easy because the tip makes it look natural and each stroke blends in.I got the darkest shade because my eyebrows are pretty dark it blended pretty well the only thing i would change about it is that the colour could be kinda ashy sometimes.I also like thgat the product has a two in one on each side so its noit to much effort or taking up to much space in your makeup bag.overall i probably would buy it again if I was looking for one.

I just had my microblading removed and my natural brows are very uneven. This looked so natural and I was able to fill in between hair and also draw on brows that still looked natural. The gel and brush on the other end finishes the brows perfectly, smoothing out any harsher brush strokes. The ash brown colour was perfect , a dark brown without any warmth. Matched my dark hair and skin perfectly. Highly recommend.
