What is Niacinamide?
Niacinamide is a brightening skincare ingredient that helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots, including age spots, sunspots and post-acne marks as well.

When should this serum be used?

This dark spot serum can be used daily, both in the AM and PM. Apply 3-4 drops after cleansing your face and follow with a face moisturiser.

Is this serum suitable for all skin types?

What is the concentration of Niacinamide in this serum?

Directions

You can use the dark spots serum in the morning and in the afternoon. After cleansing, apply 3 to 4 drops of the product on face and neck. Follow with your usual moisturiser and a minimum SPF 30 protection in the morning.

This serum can also be applied on décolleté and hands.

Avoid eye area. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately with water.

Avoid sun exposure.

It's not sticky, and sits well under my make-up. After using this serum in the morning I follow it with the daily moisturiser with sunscreen and there is no piling. As well as helping reduce my light pigmentation, it's also hydrating. It hasn't helped my dark pigmentation (this needs more clinical intervention) but I've definitely noticed a brightening of my skin tone and lightening of my light pigmentation. Would recommend!

My experience I quite enjoyed using this serum, so much that I used the whole bottle during the trial! It has a milky rose tone and silky texture. It's absorbed quickly and leaves a satin, slightly sticky finish. I noticed my skin brighter and smoother upon using it, as well as less oily in general. I'd definitely recommend it! One thing to improve is the qr code on the other package leads you to the general L'Oréal page, if it went straight to the product page that'd be much better.

Followed by the hydrating cream which I loved the feel of, my face was left smooth and hydrated and not oily like most creams ive used. The serum at first i was sceptical to use before it smelt like hair dye but I found it went on very easily and didn't absorb like the serum. The texture was delightful and not at all sticky. After rinsing off my face felt fantastic and refreshed. I have noticed a change in the appearance of my dark patches especially in my neck under my ears, not as much as expected but with more use I think it will get better.

Used as part of a trio of products, this behaved very complementary to the peel and day cream. It was beautifully packaged and substantial in the hand matching its partners. I wouldn’t buy it on its own as part of my skincare regime.
