The hair cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft. It's comprised of overlapping cells that resemble fish scales. It's there to protect the inner layers of your hair (like the follicle) from damage and provides shine.

After a few weeks trial my hair is glossy, it’s healthy and it lasts longer between washes. My hair is prone to frizz especially the first day after washing my hair, and I noticed with this range how smooth and less flyaways I had. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] firstly I want to say the smell and packaging of this range is so fun and it looks great in my shower caddy! secondly, I think this might be the best conditioner I have ever used. after using my hair is so much softer and noticeably more shiny. using this and the lamination (the next step in the glycolic gloss treatment) has transformed my hair for the better. i prefer this packaging to the shampoo bottle - I feel like it lasts me longer as I'm not wasting excess product. however, there's a lot of information about how glycolic helps your haircare routine, but truthfully I'm still not 100% on what it actually is. despite this, I've already recommend this product to my roommate!

The sparkly pinky pearly texture of the solution just gives girly pop vibes! So adorably and cute! The entire ranges packaging definitely suites the solution since all the products have similar sparkly textures, except the conditioner. The packaging gives 2000’s girly vibes. It’s pretty and cute! The price is not worth the size of the product. I think it should be reduced 20%-30% in price. The 4 step process is long but I did not leave the conditioner for as long as the bottle recommended since there was also a lamination step.

I often use more conditioner than most, as to combat my natural texture, but have found a little of this goes a long way. I have curly, dry hair which has been bleached and heat damaged, so finding a product which makes it manageable but not weigh down my natural hair texture is a god send. I will definitely be repurchasing this system, and retiring my Kevin Murphy products! The scent can be a little overpowering, so if you are adverse to highly scented product I would avoid. But overall, a lovely conditioner.

I have been using it every 3rd day. I have classic length, wavy and frizzy but straight undyed hair and rarely use heat. I have absolutely LOVED using these products and will be repurchasing! My hair was straight for a long time, and in the last few months has turned more wavy and frizzy, I assume due to hormonal changes. I was missing my easy to tame hair so much, and these products brought it back for me fully!! The conditioner has a nice floral scent, is light pink and is pretty thick when using. I left all 3 of the shower products in for 5+ minutes each, each time I used them, then the leave in as well. Once I air dried my hair, it is always so much softer, shiner and just looks overall better. My dead ends look more sealed and looks healthier compared to using most other shampoos and conditioners. For a supermarket brand with a decent price over all the products, this will definitely be one of my new go to ranges!! I tend to have 2-3 different ranges at a time as my hair responds better to a variety of products.

The conditioner feels super smooth and hydrating on my hair. I like to leave the conditioner in for at least three minutes as per the instructions and it definitely works its magic! I have also noticed that this conditioner helped with frizz control. I would highly recommend this product.

When i opened the bottle for the first time, the fragrance was just giving clean hair, newly washed and fresh! I love it. It's not overpowering. The conditioner makes my hair feel moisturised but not to the point that it makes it sticky and drag it down. It is conditioned but still have that bouncy fresh feeling. I also have very oily scalp. Washed hair in the evening before bed and it starts getting oily at noon time but this conditione helps in prolonging the freshness of my hair and scalp. I am happy with this product range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Conditioner since I got itI am still amazed I had the opportunity to use this product because it the best hair conditioner I ever used. I have bleached blonde hair to be specific, my hair is very dry , dull and split ends everywhere. I am glad this is suitable for all hair types too. The smell is just nice that will lasts for days. The texture is rich creamy and has a hint of pink color. It gives boost to my hair and feeling healthy and hydrated as well.After using L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo , I apply this hair conditioner from lengths to tips. I leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing it off. It gives you the feeling of freshness and salon quality feeling without paying so much. I am loving this product and will continue to be on my hair care routine.I like that the packaging is different from the shampoo version as I find it easily detirmine which one is shampoo and conditioner. Descent size and 150 ml is worth for the price. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

A lot leave a thick residue on your hair but this one leaves my hair feeling weightless and smells super nice which is a big bonus. Its very hard to find a conditioner that leaves my hair soft but doesn’t make it oily instantly but this one actually does the job. I would definitely purchase this in a grocery shop and am happy to know I wouldn’t be paying too Much for a product that I would say is just as good as salon products. Also the pink bottle wins me over instantly as it looks very cute in my shower. My husband has sampled this product too and loves it and he can be very picky as his hair is as long as mine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft shiny hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came to me at just the right time as I had been feeling that my hair was dull and lifeless and wanted something to add shine and smoothness . I really enjoyed this conditioner, it has a great scent and didn't weighing down my hair. In combination with the shampoo and the rest of the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss routine, I have noticed my hair is smooth, soft and shiny. I can't speak on how this would compare to a professional gloss treatment as I have never had one, however I am very pleased with the results and would not feel the need to seek out a professional gloss treatment when i could just use this routine. I have straight hair of a medium thickness and will definitely continue to use this range and would recommend to others with a similar hair type. Overall I think this product and the wider L'Oréal Paris Elvive Gloss routine are well worth the investment!

It had a really nice scent and left my hair feeling beautiful and silky. I am usually not one to care much for a hair care routine but this made it so easy and left my hair feeling like I had just finished at a salon. My hair has felt fantastic for 3 days in a row and doesn’t feel oily or dirty. Would highly recommend this product! Would also recommend getting the other products in the range also as that has played a huge difference in the look and feel of my hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing smell for your hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The glycolic gloss conditioner came with a real heavenly smell and I think is one of the best smelling ranges I’ve come across. It had a smell that reminded me of bubblegum. The packaging I thought was quite cute and I am loving the pastel pink colour. I actually do prefer the bottle being ‘upside down’ with the lid on the bottom so that all the product can be easily gotten as it settles on the bottom. I found it was really easy to dispense and I just had to be careful to not push too hard and squeeze out too much product. As I used it more, I got more intune with understanding how much product to get out. I left it in my hair for about 3 mins and I felt that after I used it a few times, my hair felt smoother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing conditioner for dull and porous hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what can I say the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Conditioner and it has worked a treat in my hair. My hair has been very dull and porous from many years of colouring. I loved how easy it was to use and how it made my hair feel so much smoother and it looked so much more healthier. It smells amazing and made my hair shine and have life again. The bottles look really nice in my bathroom and the whole process from start to finish was very manageable. I love that none of these products are tested on animals. Highly recommend giving it a go if you have dull and porous hair like I did.
