1. What is a hair cuticle?
The hair cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft. It's comprised of overlapping cells that resemble fish scales. It's there to protect the inner layers of your hair (like the follicle) from damage and provides shine.

Directions

After using the Glycolic Gloss Shampoo and before applying the Glycolic Gloss 5 Minute Lamination rinse-off, use the product from lengths to tips. Leave on for three minutes, then rinse.

The conditioner has a great smell and a very creamy smooth texture. It is easy to apply and to rinses off very easily as well. As with the shampoo I don't think it did not really do much in regards to enhancing the shine or the gloss of my hair. I have a curly dark hair and there was no noticeable change in the shine of my hair in the past few weeks. It was pretty easy to use but I will be stickling with my regular conditioner. I don't think there is enough benefit.

This product came in a squeeze bottle that made it easy to dispense the product. Perfect to use after the shampoo, the conditioner also has a slight scent that is quite pleasant and was easy to use without leaving any residue in the hair afterwards. Left my hair feeling smooth and silky as promised - would recommend! This conditioner is step two of the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic range - I would strongly suggest using this alongside the other three products in the range to get best results!

The range promises hydrated, glossy hair while sealing the cuticle. I found the conditioner quite lovely. It was thick without being heavy. It spread easily through the hair and washed out well. Immediately you could feel hair was hydrated. Once dried hair felt silky and smooth. It smells beautiful and the fragrance does seem to linger in hair for a few hours after washing. I found the conditioner to be my favourite product for the entire collection.

I love the pink packaging, the perfect shade and just very pretty to display. I like the scent of this conditioner just like the shampoo and the entire range, I love that it is thick- a must for me otherwise my hair doesn’t feel nourished enough. My hair felt smooth and hydrated after using this. I obviously used this in combination with the rest of the range so can’t comment on how it makes my hair feel after showering as a standalone product. I loved it as part of the range though

I have been received so many compliments from friends saying they are noticing a different in my hair and how soft and shiny my hair is looking. I really enjoy the scent and love that its not over heavy and oily like some others I've tried. I love the pretty bottle which matches my esthetics of my bathroom to is a plus. I'll definitely be interested in purchasing this range again.

It was pink in color and smelled really nice, not too overpowering. It was easy to get a lather in the hair. I applied it to towel-dried hair and left it to sit for 5-10 minutes, twice a week. This left my hair feeling smoother and softer, and it smelled good for a few days. However, I found my hair didn't stay as clean when using this. I don't think it made my hair look shinier. This is a good, cheap conditioner, and it works well with the rest of the range.

I've received so many compliments on how my hair smells and being short, my head being in people's faces most of the time and it smelling good is a big plus for me. Secondly, it's a thick conditioner but it doesn't weigh down my hair after rinsing. Throughout the day I can feel my hair being soft and smooth and the shine! I've even tried just using it by itself- no shampoo, no post-serum and it doesn't leave my hair looking oily like some conditioners do. Highly recommended and will definitely be purchasing again.

Similarly with the shampoo, this conditioner has a nice scent which isn't too overbearing. The texture is nice and applies well to the hair, and it washes out without leaving any unwanted residue. When using this conditioner in conjunction with the entire range, my hair does feel and look nice. My hair appears to be a little shinier than when using some other ranges, but I do also find that my hair does get oily a little faster than usual.

I normally have very thin and dry hair, especially postpartum, but after using this shampoo and conditioner for few weeks my hair got shine, soft, hydration and a healthy look. It cleaned my hair effectively and added a little bounce without creating any flyaway hairs. It makes my hair manageable and easy to style without product weight. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glossy Healthy Shine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Conditioner comes in a beautiful pink squeezy tube and is the second step in my new hair routine, helping to leave my hair smooth and untangled. After rinsing out the Glycolic Gloss Shampoo, I apply a generous amount of the conditioner from length to tips of my hair leaving it for 5 minutes before rising off, as suggested. This has help to smooth and untangle my hair, leaving it silky smooth. The conditioner also smells nice and sweet like the shampoo. Note that the conditioner comes in a 150ml tube, while the Shampoo and 5 Minute Lamination are 200ml each. Seems odd this is smaller than the shampoo, especially when the directions suggest a generous amount of the product. I will need to better plan the amount used as I have long hair, otherwise there will not be enough Conditioner compared to the rest of the products. After using the full Glycolic Gloss range (Shampoo, Conditioner, 5 Minute Lamination, and Leave-in Serum), my hair looks and feels better than ever, and is no longer dull. It feels super soft and lightweight, looks healthy and glossy and also smells nice and sweet. Loving the at-home glossing routine, bringing new life to my hair.

I can’t get over how good my hair smells and it projects as well. The chic pink bottle looks great in the bathroom and the luxurious pink texture of the conditioner definitely makes it feel like a salon experience at home. It has great slip that helps me get the knots out of my hair really well. I found that it gave me a great shine to my hair when used along with the rest of the glycolic gloss range. As to whether the shine lasts 5 washes I can’t confirm because I have coarse curly hair for which I use gels etc and so I didn’t find the shine lasted that long for me. Nonetheless this product made my hair feel nice and gave it a healthy shine so I’m very happy with it. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great smelling conditioner that adds a nice shine!

Not only are the bottles super cute, but the formula is also pink and smells really nice. The conditioner is hydrating and smoothing, making it easy to detangle my hair whilst it’s wet. I love the tube as it makes it much easier to get the product out of than a regular bottle shape. Overall I did feel like it made my hair smoother each time I used it, however I don’t feel like it had long term improvement to the smoothness of my hair as I only had these effects when I used at least 3 out of the 4 products in the range. On days where I didn’t use the lamination treatment, I saw no difference to how my hair normally feels and looks compared to my regular shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately something that I expected the product to deliver on but didn’t was smoothing my hair to better hold up against humidity. The glycolic gloss routine is meant to smooth the hair fibre’s surface and provide a glossy shine however it did nothing to resist humidity so any smoothness effect it had after washing, was completely struck out as soon as I walked outside. It’s a nice conditioner and as part of the Loreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss range it performs well, however as a standalone conditioner I’m not sure it delivers what it promises.

The conditioner is a fun pink colour and has a nice scent. It comes in a nice bottle made of recycled plastic and is a good size. The conditioner is very easy to apply and coats hair nicely. I leave it in for the recommended time before rinsing and find it leaves my hair feeling SO soft and smooth! I really like the conditioning elements of the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss range but may substitute in a different shampoo. I would recommend trying this product.

The conditioner spreads well and evenly through my hair with only a small amount of product. I enjoy that this product doesn’t weigh my hair down - for context I have thick curly hair and find some conditioners are too heavy and make my curls drop. My hair is visibly softer and smoother and feels great.Overall I would recommend this product as the rrp is very affordable and I can see myself purchasing this whole range again in the future.

Sweet in scent like the shampoo with the same pretty pink pearl the conditioner is easy to run through my hair once rinsed my hair feels really silky and soft. Using in conjunction with the other 3 products in the set I would definitely be repurchasing this as it has given my hair the most beautiful smooth and shiny hair. I have had compliments on how nice my hair looks since using this and have been recommending it to my family and friends. My only personal recommendation would be to make it in a bigger size as with the amount of hair I have this wouldn’t last me very long at all.

I was very happy to see that it is sulphate free and contains glycolic acid. Repairing the hair fibres and quality. It is such an affordable price and very convenient to purchase. The treatment seals the fibres helping with the smoothness up to 10 shampoos. Pink is my favourite colour, the colour of the shampoo is a shiny pink, with a beautiful fruity, floral scent. It is a very easy process to use, and I love pampering my hair. So far I am very happy with the results. My hair feels and looks revived, smooth and healthy! I did find that the conditioner was a bit small, but the price is still affordable. The conditioner did leave my hair a lot smoother, compared to my usual product. My hair usually goes fluffy

I found this to have a slightly less chemically scent than the shampoo, which is good as I am not a fan of the scent of the shampoo. The texture of the conditioner is quite creamy, it is easy to work through the lengths and ends and I found it easy to rinse out with no residual film left behind in my hair afterwards. For referrence my hair is waist length, quite thick, wavy and damaged at the lengths and ends. I left it on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing out. After rinsing and air drying my hair my hair was left feeling somewhat softer, shinier and easy to brush. This is a nice conditioner for dull hair and hair that is generally already on the healthier side. I probably won't be purchasing this range just out of personal prefference, my hair has seen better results from the bond repair range. Not a bad product, just not suited to my hair type.

The scent lingers subtly after use, making it enjoyable and unobtrusive. The conditioner has a thick consistency and applies easily from the lengths to the tips of my hair. After letting it sit for three minutes and rinsing, my hair felt immediately smoother and appeared shiny. Once dried, my hair looked full and frizz-free, suggesting good hydration and damage repair. While I enjoyed the product, I might hesitate to repurchase because the bottle doesn't contain much product. However, the manageable three-minute leave-in time makes it convenient for weekday use, so I would still consider buying it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective Conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to get on the trial team for the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Conditioner, and used it in conjunction with the shampoo, Glycolic 5-minute Lamination product, and Glycolic Gloss Leave in Serum. I would really recommend this product to others as it was easy to use, disperse, apply and rinse from my hair. It also left my hair feeling noticeably smoother and shiny. The only downside I found to this product was the scent, which I didn’t like, and found very strong. I also didn’t like the packaging as I thought it looked a bit cheap. In summary I would recommend this conditioner to others as it was very effective at conditioning and moisturising my hair.

I have tried different moisturizing conditioners to help with the same. L’Oréal Glycolic gloss conditioner 11% gloss complex with glycolic acid surprised me! I left it on for three minutes as advised in the packaging and washed it off after. My hair instantly felt moisturized and smooth to touch. Usage of the shampoo, lamination and leave in serum helped to improve the hair quality and shine. I would definitely recommend this conditioner to my friends and family who are looking to revive their dull hair.

I use this product after shampooing my hair with L'Oréal Glycolic Gloss Shampoo. When I first used the product I applied less as I usually get oily hair but the second time I washed my hair I applied some more product as it didn’t make my hair too oily as I just applied the product on the ends! It leaves my hair looking shiny glossy and hydrated. During the winter season I notice my hair to be feeling more dry but honestly I’m loving this brand so far! The scent is also so beautiful! I definitely recommend this line from the brand to my friends and family!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trialing the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Conditioner and really enjoying this product. Along with the entire range it smells amazing. The product is nice and thick, which I personally love for my thick hair. As always, the packaging is very aesthetically pleasing on my shower shelf. The pink is gorgeous and girly which I love. Only taking a star off as I may have put too much product in my hair and my hair became oily in a few days, which is quicker than usual. This could be due to external factors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super sleek [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying this range and I am pleasantly suprised at how well it worked with my hair, I often find it hard to find products that really do what they say and after pairing this with the L'Oréal Glycolic Shampoo I have noticed a huge difference with my hairs appearance, my hair is noticably sleeker and shinier. I left the product on for about 3-4 minutes and combed it through and I could feel immediately how soft my hair became. The only thing I would change would be the bottle, I would prefer a larger bottle and in the same style as the Shampoo bottle as I found this tube hard to store in my shower standing, it had to be laid on it's side across my soap holder.. also a larger 1L bottle would suit me better as my hair is very long. Overall beautiful product, the smell was very nice and I loved the pink shimmery color.

It left my hair feeling soft. It was user friendly. It rinsed out easy enough. It didn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it paired well with the others in its range. I am not a very big fan of conditioner as it leaves my hair oily but this doesn’t. Everything about this product is so good, from smell to the results of my hair afterwards. I haven’t felt my hair so soft and shiny in quite a while. This conditioner feels like custom made for my hair. I would definitely purchase it on repeat. Recommending this to anyone who wants a perfect looking salon like hair. I have got so many compliments from my friends and family about my hair.
