1. What is a hair cuticle?
The hair cuticle is the outermost part of the hair shaft. It's comprised of overlapping cells that resemble fish scales. It's there to protect the inner layers of your hair (like the follicle) from damage and provides shine.

The scent lingers pleasantly after use. The product has a thick consistency and applies easily from the lengths to the tips of my hair. Used every 5-10 washes, it left my hair immediately shinier and healthier in both feel and appearance. While the conditioner gave similar results, this lamination also made my hair feel soft and not much product was needed for results. Although the instructions suggest using this lamination step after conditioning, I found that conditioning on the same days felt excessive, caused product buildup, and didn't improve the results. I would repurchase this product but skip the conditioning step on days I use the lamination.

It’s so easy to use in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner. I apply a sufficient amount and put my hair in a clip, letting it work its magic. My hair feels so silky and soft when I rinse this treatment out. As a blonde with years of bleach and heat damage, getting shine in my hair is almost impossible. This product line makes my hair look noticeably more shiny, and it feels so healthy and much more manageable, too. This whole line is absolutely incredible, especially for the price!

I used this on alternating washes to make sure it worked. I can safely say I preferred the way my hair dried and responded following using this. It was easier to manage, silkier and dried and maintained a slightly straighter finish. I did find it felt super silky in my hair, and when blowdrying after wash it certainly seemed to have more shine. I will continue to use this and the conditioner from the Glycolic Gloss range.

Firstly it smells great, a gorgeous scent that lasts. It’s easy to use, just leave on hair for five minutes and rinse out. It did make my dark hair look a lot shinier and it felt really soft, it detangles and it definitely helped tame any frizz. After styling my hair looked smooth and sleek, shiny and healthy. It’s not a bad price, so quite good value for money and it’s packaged nicely. L’Oréal is a great brand and I often use their skincare products but have found their hair products are of a high quality too. I would recommend this product

I've been using this product like a hair mask. After I shampoo and condition my hair, I've been adding the Lamination to it and combing it through my hair. I usually step out of the shower or just wait a bit and do my other stuff before rinsing. It makes my hair so smooth and silky to touch. I was worried that it wouldn't rinse out properly or make my hair oily, but I've found its been working great! Definitely recommend this.

I did find however that using the products as directed left my hair greasy, my scalp feeling thick and my hair showing signs of buildup and caking. The shampoo is quite thick and does lather well however it does take some work to do so The conditioner has a fine consistency but the amount received in the bottle is not comparable to shampoo meaning you run out of it much quicker The hair treatment is the only product I found I loved and would probably repurchase as used with other shampoo and conditioner it does leave the desired results and makes my hair shiny and easy to manage Finally the serum was a bit confusing as it initially appears as if the bottle is glittery however on use of the product the glitter is contained in the product itself, I would have loved this had there been any pay off of this glitter into the hair however it dissolves in the hair but never off the hands and only adds an oily, not shiny, look to the finished product once styled. I’m sure this product would be amazing for those with dry and dull hair however it was simply not for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good experience [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved giving this product a try I didn’t really notice apart from the other products what its effect was as it’s one product ! But it felt nice to use and it wasn’t a hard process ! It was easy to do which is great. I already noticed an ease and great result using the shampoo and conditioner so I didn’t notice hugely what this product did in addition to those two products. I also still noticed the short term results were great but the shiny and silky feeling wore off and my hair got oily a couple of days after use. I would still say give this product a try and see how it goes for you individually as everyone’s experience may be slightly different
