General Information

Oil Free Gel Cleanser. Cleanses skin to help remove excess oil, impurities and make up. Scientifically formulated for oily, combination, blemish and acne-prone skin. 
Contains Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and soothiing Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract.
Gel-to-foam formula.
Helps remove oil, dirt and pore-clogging impurities.
Non-comedogenic - won't block pores.
Helps to remove make-up.

Directions

Apply to wet skin and rub gently in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water. Gently pat skin dry.

I paired it with the moisturiser and what a dream team this was! This is the perfect budget friendly product. I was hesitant at first because of the price compared to most other recommended brands but I am honestly blown away by the results I received just within a week of using this product. I would highly recommend this cleanser to any age group and even any skin type, even though it’s more targeted at oily skin.

The first thing that helped my nose lose all its bumpiness and dryness. It helped my face lose all the scaly skin. And this was all on day one I have an allergy to fragrances and this is the first thing that there was no smell that irritated my nose and my face. It’s been filled on with the moisturiser my face feels so much better…………………. How do I know it’s working? My nose was rough and scaly from too many years in the sun and now I can definitely feel smoothness when I touch or rub my hand down my nose.

Followed by the face cream the perfect regime for everyday very impressive and great for all ages and skin types will definitely keep purchasing this item, these are my two favourite products by far and I will definitely be sharing with everyone I know. Love the range and quality of the QV range it’s great and fantastic for sensitive skin

Often cleansers marketed as "gentle" aren't always effective at removing makeup and cleansing the skin, but this QV Face Oil Free Gel Cleanser did the trick. It ticks all the boxes, it was gentle enough not to irritate my sensitive skin, but also cleansed my skin of dirt, oil and impurities without leaving my skin feeling tight, dry and uncomfortable. I liked the clear gel consistency and the way it emulsified in my hands to foam up felt nice. I would recommend this to anyone with oily or combination skin, as I found it was perfect for washing the day away. I did do a double cleanse, firstly to wash the make up off then to wash my face, but it was perfect.

I use a lot of heavy makeup during the day, and rely on a good night time cleaner, and this has failed to disappoint. The bottle is a good size and well designed. One pump is plenty for the entire face. The cleaner itself, is a lovely light gel, with a very low scent. After using the product, you can really feel the fresh and clean feeling left on your face. It has the added bonus of including Pro-Vitamin B5 and B3 too. I have also been following my morning routine up with the QV Face Oil Free Moisturiser, and this has really helped make my complexion that much brighter during the day. I would recommend this product look for a good quality and cost-effective cleanser.

It removes light makeup (just requires washing twice) and doesn’t leave a residue or feel tacky like some thicker cleansers. I also love the pump it makes so much less mess when my hands are already wet! I didn’t realise how useful having a cleanser that pumps until I used this! It’s also not overly thick so I feel like there’s not as much wastage - it goes a lot further than some of my other cleansers, so it really is a win win (does a really good job and is amazing value for money). Sometimes simple clean ingredients really are best.

I applied a small pump of the QV gel cleanser morning and night on wet skin and it felt so lush as it just lathers beautifully. I really like that its fragrance free which often irritates my skin. I rinse off with warm water and followed it up with the QV oil free moisturiser. My skin feels so clean and hydrated with this combo and i've noticed the acne around my chin is not as red and angry so thats a huge plus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having oily / combination skin, I have found that simple gentle cleansers are the best for me, but quite often find one's made for oily skin often strip away too much and do damage over time. I do have a regular that I use and am happy with, but was excited to try this as from what I know, QV are generally fairly straight forward products. This definitely leaves the skin nicely cleansed and has helped with reducing oil without stripping the skin too much. I am quite pleasantly surprised with how much I have enjoyed using this and will definitely repurchase once used.

Nomore acne. I would definitely be purchasing this product for sure. I highly recommend this product to others looking for a great face cleanser. My daughter was also happy with the results with her skin. We noticed a difference in her skin within a week of using this product each morning and each night. It doesn't have a strong scent which is also good. The packaging could be a little better with maybe some colour added to it. Otherwise this is a really great product to use. I think alot of teenagers would benefit from using this product. The skin seems to be silky and smooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gentle and effective [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The QV Oil Free Gel Cleanser Is a lovely light and gentle cleanser that can be used morning and night. It is a very light consistency that easily glides on the skin and provides good slip. It has no scent and did not cause any irritation on my very dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin. I was able to use one to three pumps to wash my face depending on what products I had used that day. It washed off very easily and completely with water and I did not find that there was any residue left behind. My skin felt clean, but not dry and tight after washing. The QV Oil Free Gel Cleanser worked well for double cleansing and washed off oil cleanser well. I found that on its own, one wash was not sufficient to completely remove sunscreen and makeup (especially mascara), but two washes seemed to clean the skin nicely if I was only wanting to use one product for cleansing. I feel like this would be a great single morning cleanser for the warmer weather and summer months as it feels very light and refreshing. I really enjoyed the texture and experience of using the products, and I really enjoy and trust QV as a brand overall to deliver effective products that are beneficial to skin. I will continue to use this cleanser and will definitely repurchase this once I have used it up.

I would recommend this for oily or normal skin types who suffer from the occasional breakout but don’t want anything too harsh on their skin. It came in a convenient pump bottle and I found that one pump could do two washes, as you don’t need a lot of product. Make sure to rub the cleanser in your hands before applying as it foams up nicely.

This QV gel cleanser I have been using it for about two weeks. I notice a good balancing effect without stripping the skin. I have very congested yet sensitive skin. This cleanser is very gentle yet effective at removing excess sebums and dirt's off my face. I still do double cleansing so I am not sure let alone removes make up. I feel some minty feeling when I use I guess it has some menthol in it but not too overpowering. It also contains oat kernel extract which I believe can soothe the irritated skin. I wet my hands with water then I lather it well and put it on my face once it foams up. I like the fact that it gives such a refreshing feeling after using it. I only use a pea size amount since its gel texture a little goes a long way so the whole 200ml bottle will lasts me a little longer than my usual cleansers. I follow up with the QV oil free moisturiser which is very good at controlling oil and very light on skin. Both products has hero ingredient niacinamide I am sucker for niacinamide because it really helps my big pores plus it gives brightening effect. I recommend this product to anyone with acne prone congested skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silky cleanser that promotes soft and smooth skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thank Ego Pharmaceuticals and Beauty Heaven for my trial on my acne-prone skin. I really, really liked this cleanser. It efficiently removed my facial sebum, but didn’t completely strip my skin of moisture, and my skin didn’t feel tight or super dry after washing. This cleanser left my skin feeling very smooth and supple. I appreciated that the formula doesn’t contain fragrance, and the product has a faint oat-y scent, due to the ingredients. The pump is smooth to operate, however it’s not marked in a direction at all to open and it took me some trial and thought to twist the pump to open (I think anticlockwise did the trick!). I’m grateful for a pump as this promotes easy collection of the product and minimises wastage, but found that I only needed half or 3/4 of a pumpful to cleanse my face adequately. I’m seriously considering using this in place of my routine La Roche-Posay Effaclar Gel Cleanser, however I value a transparent bottle so I can easily check how much product I have left, and wish this cleanser came in a transparent bottle.

It is fragrance free, and has a pleasant scent. Its formula feels lightweight and gentle on the skin. It has the typical gel consistency and foams up well. I’ve only used it after having light makeup on (mineral powder foundation) so I can’t say for certain what level of makeup it can remove. I found that it removes impurities and excess oil without causing any skin irritation or dryness. I did not notice any undesirable changes to my skin. Overall, QV Oil Free Gel Cleanser is a refreshing addition to my skincare routine. I would recommend this if you’re looking for something gentle for daily use.

I sometimes find that cleansers can be a bit harsh, but I didn't have to worry with this QV Gel Cleanser. It felt great and I love that it didn't leave my skin feeling dry and it was not irritating at all. My skin was left feeling cleansed and soft and after only a few days of use my skin feels healthier and less dry already. And a little bit goes a long way, so it's good value and should last awhile. I will definitely continue to use this.

I found this to be a good safe overall nice cleanser that is suitable for all skin types. I especially love that is specifies that it is non-comedogenic and foaming. I appreciate that it also comes with niacinamide and other ingredients that are good for my skin. I don't need to have an additional niacinamide serum because the moisturizer also comes with niacinamide in it too.

It lathers really well and has a good consistency. It has a slight fragrance without being overpowering. It tends to dry my skin but when you pair it with the qv oil free moisturiser it counteracts that’s. The style of the bottle is quite nice and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Specially if you have sensitive skin or oily skin. It’s gentle moisturiser contains a range of hydrating ingredients including vitamin B3 and pro-vitamin B5 to keep your delicate skin of the face feeling hydrated and fresh throughout the day. It does leave a matte finish so you don’t have that greases look. It seams to have helped with my acne and reduce the appearance quite a bit. Iv been using it twice a day for just over a week now plus using the Qv oil free moisturiser

I've been using it in conjunction with the moisturiser. It has made my skin much clearer and smoother, and leaves it feeling really clean. I love the gel formulas because foams nicely and my face doesn't feel dry afterwards, and overall it's a really nice comsistency. I also love that it's fragrance free as my skin can be a little bit sensitive. Would definitely purchase this once I run out.

Although I do not have acne-prone skin, I do suffer from excess oil buildup and shine during the day, especially in warmer weather. This clear gel cleanser is formulated with Pro-vitamin B5, Niacinamide and Oat kernel extract that foams up nicely to effectively remove makeup, impurities and excess oil without leaving my skin feeling stripped and overly dry. Firstly, I was impressed with the size of the bottle, as you get a lot of product and will last a while. The pump top bottle makes it really easy to control how much product you use. The cleanser itself has a nice soothing texture and is unscented. It is oil-free which is great because it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh, not greasy. Because it is such a gentle cleanser, it is great for double-cleansing. I found my skin looked clear after cleansing. I even allowed my pre-teen to use it as I know it is gentle on her skin and I can trust that it wouldn't cause any problems on her young skin. Even though I am mid-thirties, I still get the occasional blemish. However, since using this cleanser I have noticed that I didn't get any blemishes. I think this is the oil-free nature of this cleanser so I will continue to use this product.

Suffering from psoriasis with patches all over my face prior to using this product it has literally cleared up dramatically already. Within the next week I am so excited to see how clear my face will be but also how healthy it looks too. So far it's amazing and I would highly recommend using both the oil free gel cleanser with the facial moisturiser everyday. Fantastic products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light consistency and refreshing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a combination/oily skin and by the end of the day, my face tends to become very oily, especially in the T zone i.e. my forehead and nose. I have tried hydrating cleansers before but because they don’t foam you don’t get a feeling of it leaving your skin fresh and still feels a bit greasy. I really wanted something that would make my skin feel soft and not leave it dry at the same time. I don’t have acne-prone skin but when I use oily products I tend to break out. I try to avoid anything that makes my skin oily be it cleansers, serums or moisturisers. I had been looking for a cleanser that’s oil-free as in the past when I used cleaners that made my skin oily I would not even last half a day without having to touch it up and my forehead would start shining! I have been using the QV face oil-free gel cleanser for some time now and I love it. Its gel formula foams easily, and you just need a small quantity to lather and clean your face. It is fragrance-free which I prefer and doesn’t react with my skin. It leaves my skin refreshed and soft. I use it twice a day morning and night. When I use it in the morning and apply my regular skin care products, because it is oil-free my skin doesn’t get oily even after applying all my serums and moisturizers. I also use it as a part of my night routine. At night usually I use skincare that has a thick texture so my skin can absorb it all. When I started using this cleanser I felt the products I used were easily absorbed and I didn’t wake up with an oily layer on my skin which used to happen when I used cream-based cleansers. I felt my skin was taking it all in and I woke up with a more refreshed and supple feel on my face. This cleanser is easy to use and so affordable. The only thing I felt was I wished it came in a bottle that could carry while travelling. The twist nozzle is secure, but you waste a lot of product trying to open and close it every time so it is hard to carry around when you are travelling. I think for the price of $17 it is really good and comes in a 200ml pack which can for at least 3-4 months. Overall, I feel this product is very good for anyone who has very oily to oily skin and it helps control oil secretion especially when you have to put on make-up and want it to last the whole day. It is also good for people who break out and acne acne-prone skin and in my case, I mostly break out when my pores are blocked because of oil and dirt. I would surely recommend this product as it helps to remove excess oil, dirt and makeup, leaving my skin feeling clean and fresh.

As an oily skin owner, I can't use every face wash on my face. I decided to give it a try on this face cleanser. I really liked using this gel based cleanser. I used this thrice a day and feels comfortable on my face. I was looking for a face cleanser which can also take off my makeup and sunscreen. This cleanser is the one. I used this face cleanser by mixing with water and forming a foam first in my hand then applying on my face. With gentle rubbing this cleanser helps to take off makeup and sebum from my face. And most importantly this cleanser doesn't make my face feel try after every wash. I recommend this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft, cleansed skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for something gentle for both mine and my daughters skin, QV is a tried and tested brand, so I was excited to give this a go and it did not disappoint. The cleanser a little goes a long way, great foam and fresh, feeling soft skin. I was a bit skepital with it being a gentle cleanser it wouldn't do the job but we both agreed that this product is amazing, paired with the moisturiser it is the perfect pairing for a non greasy mouistered skin. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who would like to try a gentle cleanser range, my daughter has already told all her teenage friends about this product and they have now become regular customers now, it will be our go to from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from QV Oil free gel cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a person who has eczema and sensitive skin, the product is gentle and soft and does not irritate my skin at all! This new cleanser cleans my face thoroughly and does not feel dry afterwards! I am obsessed with this product as it is so hydrating and is not rough on the skin. I will continue to use it as a part of my skincare routine. I also feel it has helped improve my acne and remove makeup more easily. This product is great for people with sensitive and combination skin. I highly recommend it as being simple and effective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Resfreshing, effective and gentle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think when people see 'gentle cleanser' they think it is a product that is not going to be as effective as a traditional cleanser, which has been my experience at times. This was the total opposite! I have an oily-to-combination skin type that tends to get dry during the colder, drier Winter months. It is usually at this time I'll look to switching up my cleansing routine to something more gentle and/or hydrating. This would fit the bill. It is a simple, no bells and whistles kind of product that just does what it's meant to do. Whilst I wouldn't go so far as to say it's an exciting product, it is dependable and I think would be suitable for all skin types. The formula and fragrance-free nature of it would lend itself to a product that those with sensitive skin would be able to use. The result for me using this product was refreshed, clean and soft skin. It didn't feel too rough or dry after use that can come with some more traditional type cleasners on the market. It seemed to clean the skin well without stripping it. Using it was easy and pleasant. There is not much negative to say about this other than it's just an 'exciting' product but it is affordable and does what is promised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice gentle cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never tried anything from QV before, and was very impressed with my first impression of the brand. This is a really great, simple and lightweight cleanser, which would be great for anyone with sensitive skin. It doesn't really have a fragrance that I could tell, which is always a plus for me as I know my skin won't react. It always leaves my skin feeling plump and is never drying which I really like. I also love that it is able to be lightweight and non drying, while also cleaning my skin properly and it was able to remove my makeup well. I will definitely be repurchasing once this one runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lot of the time you hear gentle cleansers just don’t do enough to cleanse the skin but this was opposite! It had a nice consistency, was great to apply and use and the result was a refreshingly clean and soft face without that stripping feeling. The fragrance-free formula will be great for people with skin sensitivities. It’s just overall a super simple, no fuss cleanser that really does the job without needing to try to hard. I think this is a great alternative to traditional cleansers for people who seek something gentle but with the same effectiveness at cleaning the skin as harsher cleansers. The end result is happy, refreshed, cleansed skin that doesn’t feel dry, rough or stripped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for outbreak prone or sensitised skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial the QV oil free gel cleanser :) Overall this product is great for those who have sensitised skin going through a period of inflamed, irritated or outbreak skin such as post skin treatments or acne medication that just needs some calming and repairing of skin barrier. The cleanser has great nourishing and repairing ingredients that can aid it calming the skin during those period. However, it is not my go to cleanser as it doesn’t have acids which I prefer to keep my skin clear. I found this great after I do peels or use strong actives to balance my skin out. I recommend the cleanser for those going through recovery and want something gentle but enough to benefit the skin with drying it out.
