General Information

Oil Free Gel Cleanser. Cleanses skin to help remove excess oil, impurities and make up. Scientifically formulated for oily, combination, blemish and acne-prone skin. 
Contains Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and soothiing Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract.
Gel-to-foam formula.
Helps remove oil, dirt and pore-clogging impurities.
Non-comedogenic - won't block pores.
Helps to remove make-up.
Frangrance, soap and colour free.
Suitable for use with acne prone skin.
pH balanced.
Dermatologically tested.
Made in Australia.

Warnings

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If lather enters eyes, flush well with water. If irritation occurs discontinue use.

Ingredients

Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Lauryl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Xanthan Gum, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Methylparaben, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Panthenol (Pro-vitamin B5), Aminomethyl Propanol, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Menthol, Acena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Potassium Sorbate.

Directions

Apply to wet skin and rub gently in a circular motion. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water. Gently pat skin dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and gentle on skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have combo skin with hormonal acne. Can also suffer from eczema so need something gentle. Used this twice a day and really liked it. Didn't dry out my skin or make it feel tight. Pump pack is excellent, made it so much easier to use. Took a little while to get it working. Definitely would like a larger size option. Smell is a noticeable menthol. It's pleasent but if you are sensitive may need to avoid. Ingredients wise liked that it had niacinamide and glycerin. Good amount of foaming when water added.

Unlike some more expensive branded cleansers, this one does not feel like it strips the skin of any goodness, nor does it leave my skin feeling the slightest bit dry. I love the fact that a little goes a long way. A small amount of product still foams up very well and gives a really good second cleanse when wearing a full face of makeup, however, still performs extremely well as a first cleanse. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great day to day cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleanser is a great day to day cleanser. Perfect for removing the grime of the day. I use a cloth to remove my makeup first and then use this product to cleanse which removed any final traces of makeup that the cloth did not remove. As someone with quite oily skin, this worked well for my skin type and it did not strip the skin or leave my skin feeling dry. If you have more dry skin then I wouldn't recommend this for you but it is designed for more oily skin. The only thing I found was that the packaging was hard to open, in fact I couldn't get the pump handle to pop up so had to open it from the twist top, hence why I dropped my rating to a 4 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle Cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this cleanser, it was gentle (which is good as I have sensitive skin), removes make up quite well and doesn't strip the skin's natural oils so your face won't feel tight and dry. The pump worked great, no issues there. No irritations caused and no acne flares so big tick there! The only peeve I have is that it contains parabens which is something I try to avoid in beauty products especially skincare. Had it not have parabens I would be more of a fan. Otherwise the product was quite good and it still did the job well of removing make up and cleansing the skin. Though I would recommend still using an oil base cleanser or balm to properly remove all traces of make up.

The facewash's gel-like consistency effortlessly lathered into a rich foam when applied to my wet face. It didn't 'feel' like a deep cleanse but was ideal for sensitive skin as it removed dirt, oil, and impurities without stripping my skin of its natural moisture. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed, never tight or irritated.The facewash was easy to use. I liked that it was in a pump bottle so I didn't have to remove a lid or anything, and used it in the shower as part of my cleansing routine. It did not have a strong scent (I did not smell a scent at all) as I am sensitive to some smells and don't like when they linger on my body.

It definitely made my face feel very clean and took any make up off. I also really liked the texture of it and how easy it was use. It took me a few goes to get used to the smell, but I like the fact that is has no added fragrances, the less unnecessary chemicals the better! I did find it left my skin feeling a little dry afterwards, however this is probably because it is better suited for people with more oily type skin, whereas mine is usually more dry-normal type. I also only used half a dispense from the plunger each time because I found it was too much product if I pushed it the whole way down. Otherwise it has everything I would want from a cleanser.

It's a clear gel that when applied to damp skin creates a nice mild lather. I found it great to remove make up, which was surprising because it's quite gentle otherwise. I liked the consistency of the gel, and you don't need much of it, just a small pump. The only downside is (I think) the inclusion of menthol - I found this to be unpleasant when it came into contact with my lips, but otherwise it was quite refreshing.

Some cleansers I've used in the past leave a sticky kind of film on the skin but this one didn't! It foams up slightly when rubbing it into the face which I find makes it feel like it is getting into the pores better than cream cleansers. The gel feels cooling and refreshing on the face, would be particularly nice in summer weather. This cleanser would be great for people with oily skin or people looking for a cleanser that provides a matte finish on the skin.

I think this is a really great cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin or anyone looking to avoid oils. You only need a very small amount for it to be effective. It foams up really well and does a great job cleaning without drying out skin or leaving it feeling tight. The pump application wasn't initially my favourite but it actually works out really well in the shower. The only thing I disliked was the inclusion of menthol as an ingredient. The first time I used this, I used way too much and all I could smell was menthol and it made my skin very tingly.

I know menthol is great for sensitive skin but I just couldn’t get over the smell of it. I would also be very cautious using it near my eyes, but that’s a very personal sensitivity. Apart from that, I thought this was a great cleanser. It left my skin feeling really clean and fresh. You really only need a very small amount to get the job done. Foams well and doesn’t leave skin feeling dry. I think it’s great value for money at $17 for 200ml, I feel like this is going to last me ages. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the pump bottle but it’s actually quite handy to have in the shower or next to the sink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from QV is THE brand for Sensitive Skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using QV products for most of my life as they are the only brand I've found that does not irritate my sensitive skin. I used the Oil-free Gel Cleanser and Moisturiser in the place of the QV Gentle Wash and Skin Lotion that I usually use on my face. The cleanser has a light gel to foam formula, it has a very mild cooling effect that's great to help calm acne and eczema, and gentle enough for my teenage skin. I can't say I would continue to use this product in place of the QV Gentle Wash as I didn't see a vast amount of difference on my acne specifically and I prefer the texture of the Wash, however it is a very gentle formula that worked well with my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is a really beautiful gel cleanser that foams up nicely when rubbed in, it has a very nice smooth feel to it, I really enjoy using this product and I would definitely recommend. It leaves the skin feeling nice and clean, it did not dry me out or make my skin feel oily at all, I would definitely recommend using a moisturizer after you have cleansed your skin with this product. I would recommend the QV moisturizer as it made my skin feel really moisturized and smooth throughout the day and night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle foaming cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaged in a good sized 200ml pump dispenser, you only need the smallest amount of gel cleanser to leave your skin soft and clean. The packaging itself is attractive and the pump is very simple to use. The oil free gel cleanser easily foams with water and lathers up to gently clean the skin and remove make up. It does take a bit of rinsing to remove the product completely from the skin due to the smallest amount producing so much foaming product. I enjoyed using this oil free gel cleanser from QV, it is going to last a long time.

This new cleanser cleans my face thoroughly and does not feel dry afterwards! I am obsessed with this product as it is so hydrating and is not rough on the skin. I will continue to use it as a part of my skincare routine. I also feel it has helped improve my acne and remove makeup more easily. This product is great for people with sensitive and combination skin. I highly recommend it as being simple and effective.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This didn't wash too well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new oil free cleanser from QV didn't remove my sunscreen so I don't think it would work that well on my makeup. I had to triple cleanse using my miceller water twice after to feel clean after using just this product. It felt nice on the face & had a slight natural clean smelling fragrance though & I like bottle as it was very easy to dispense onto my hands with no wastage. But unfortunately I won't be purchasing this new product & I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a better cleanser coming from the QV brand.
