Colgate Optic White Purple Toothpaste removes surface stains* and neutralises yellow tones** with micro-polishing action.

Colgate Optic White Purple Toothpaste combines micro-polishing whitening technology with the excitement of purple colour correction technology. It safely removes surface stains* and also neutralises yellow tones**. This whitening toothpaste is good for daily use, enamel safe, and the fluoride toothpaste formula provides protection against cavities.

The flavour was nice & wasn't overpowering, it actually made made my teeth white after each use. Only improvement I would suggest is the making the whitening strength last longer as it tends to fade quite quickly.

Continued use would give more noticeable results. So much easier and cheaper then other teeth whitening methods. Plus I love the purple colour.

I didn’t really find it improved the colour of my teeth, however it did stain my tongue each time I brushed my teeth. I’m going to continue using it, because it’s not bad - but Colgate offers better products for teeth whitening. It might be good for you if you have really sensitive gums though.

I found the packaging great with the stand-up lid. Good sized tube. Nice mint flavour which was quite strong and refreshing. I didn't find a dramatic difference or whitening to my teeth over the 7 days of use, although my teeth did feel nice and clean.

I did notice a little sensitivity to some of my teeth but surprisingly not much. Would recommend this product and to get the most out of it follow the instructions and brush/leave on for 5 minutes. I felt this product more effective than the charcoal toothpastes I've tried.

It did not seem to make my teeth brighter, it dulled some of the yellow by making my gums and teeth purple tinged. I was expecting it to counteract the yellow, I was not expecting the purple to stay in places making it look unnatural and not very bright. I can't imagine I would purchase this again.

This was sent to me as a trial product. It was advertised to be effective in removing Stains on teeth. I didn't notice any difference in the 2 week trial period however results make only show later on. Either that or my coffee stained teeth are beyond redemption. Taste wise, it's refreshing and tasted pretty good.

It did not feel grainy like some toothpastes feel. My teeth felt clean afterwards. I took before and after photos of my teeth and found very little change in the colour of my teeth. Though I do wonder if that would become more obvious over time and not just the 7 days I have been testing it for.

However, I haven't noticed any significant difference between this and the other Optic White toothpaste varieties. The explanation that the purple color has temporary effects countering yellow tones makes sense, but I have yet to observe any noticeable results.

I honestly didn't like the purple, I felt like it stained my teeth and made it worse,my tongue was purple. I would prefer a whitening Toothpaste that does not stain . If it did what it stated it would do I would be impressed,I will continue to use until finished & if I'm pleasantly surprised I might continue to purchase if my teeth are whiter.

My teeth have sadly coped many years of stain abuse and I had seen a number of ads for colgates competition hismile about purple toothpaste has made me curious and intrigued about purple toothpaste. Sadly I feel like I was let down by this product and found that the purple toothpaste didn’t make any changes to my teeth stains. It wasn’t all negative as the freshness of the toothpaste I liked, the foam and consistency was perfect and my teeth felt clean and smooth after each use I just felt that it didn’t change my teeth stains. I find the original Colgate optic white gave much better changes to my teeth stains.

I have been using the optic white range for quite some time and have been impressed with the whitening results that I have achieved - as has my dentist. Unfortunately this product doesn’t meet the high expectations I’ve become accustomed to. No noticeable difference with each use and the flavour and breath freshening products are minimal. I’ll not purchase this again. Quite disappointed with the results.
