It deeply whitens beyond surface stains, with a 2% hydrogen peroxide formula and removes deep stains* and strengthens enamel.

Ingredients

Propylene Glycol, Calcium Pyrophosphate, PVP, PEG/PPG-116/66 Copolymer, PEG-12, Glycerin, Flavour, Hydrogen Peroxide (2.5% w/v), Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Silica, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Monofluorophosphate, Disodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Saccharin, Sucralose, BHT.

Contains: Contains Sodium Monofluorophosphate 1.1% w/w (equiv. 1450 ppm F)

Directions

- Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, for at least 2 minutes or as directed by your dental professional.
- Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water.
- Do not use for children 6 years of age or less.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If you experience irritation or more than mild tooth sensitivity, stop use and consult your dentist.

It has a strange flavour which lingers which is why I didn't rate it 5 but if they can improve it then it'll be perfect.

It's obviously a gradual whitening, which means that you have to be a little patient, but within 3 days I saw a difference. The taste is good and not too spicy either which is really nice. I would have liked it if the packaging was recyclable as well though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Luminous [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found Colgate Optic White Luminous refreshing and was quite surprised how white my teeth were, even just from the first brush, too be honest l'm not a person who brushes morning and night but I did for this and was very impressed with the toothpaste. I'm liking the 2% hydrogen peroxide, I'm guessing this is adding to why my teeth are so white. I was a bit worried about the taste of the Cool Mint but it is actually really refreshing and leaves your teeth feeling clean.

I’ve used it for a week so far and I must note that I have exceptionally sensitive teeth, especially when it comes to whitening products, often getting a lingering pulsing in my teeth. Well, I honestly did not get that once with this toothpaste. I was stunned. I’m usually fearful to use whitening products because of this! I did notice a small difference in colour - nothing dramatic but at this point I’d gladly take a slower working product and have no sensitivity! I’d definitely recommend using this toothpaste. Very impressed.

I’ll continue to use however and hope for some changes in the whiteness or my teeth

The chemical/bleachy smell was very off putting. I was hoping it tasted better than it smelled but I was let down as it was very overpowering. I persevered with the test anyway but had to reduce to only once per day as it was causing very sensitive teeth. I think the whitening effect is noticeable but the taste and sensitivity issues would put me off using this product again.

My teeth felt fresh and clean after brushing which is always a great attribute, although the “whitening” factor wasn’t noticed. I am a big coffee drinker so i am always self conscious about yellow discolouration on my teeth, hence why i was so excited to try this product, and i can honestly say i see no change in colour of my teeth to be whiter since brushing twice daily with this toothpaste. if you’re persistent and use it every day for a month or so, i’m sure you would see a change but after a week, my teeth seem exactly the same. The product “directions” claim that the product has visible results within 7 days. After my product testing adventure, this claim seems a bit far fetched.
