Colgate Optic White Stain Fighter Enamel Care Teeth Whitening toothpaste removes daily stain build up from food and drink*.

Ingredients

Propylene Glycol, Calcium Pyrophosphate, PEG/PPG-116/66 Copolymer, PEG-12, Glycerin, PVP, Silica, Flavour, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Monofluorophosphate, Hydrogen Peroxide (1.3% w/v), Disodium Pyrophosphate, Sodium Saccharin, Sucralose, BHT.

Contains: Contains Sodium Monofluorophosphate 1.1% w/w (equiv. 1450 ppm F).

Directions

- Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, for at least 2 minutes or as directed by your dental professional.
- Do not swallow. Rinse with a small amount of water.
- Do not use for children 6 years of age or less.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Some people may experience tooth sensitivity or gum discomfort when using whitening products. This discomfort is temporary and not harmful. If you experience irritation or more than mild tooth sensitivity, stop use and consult your dentist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Non Abrasive Whitening Toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialled the Colgate Optic White Enamel White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste for 4 weeks using twice daily. The toothpaste is pleasant tasting and non abrasive. I could feel it working straight away as the toothpaste gently foams as you brush your teeth. My teeth immediately felt cleaner after the first use. I’ve used whitening toothpastes in the past which felt abrasive and ended up causing tooth sensitivity. I have also tried teeth whitening gels which were time consuming and stripped the enamel on my teeth causing sensitivity. I love that Colgate Optic White Enamel White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste is different and can be used as an everyday toothpaste and that I don’t have to whiten my teeth separately. I didn’t experience any tooth sensitivity whatsoever with this toothpaste and my teeth genuinely feel stronger and look whiter after only 4 weeks. I’ll be definitely sticking to this as my regular toothpaste.

It really has whitened my teeth about 1-2 shades with constant use. I always get compliments on my teeth. The flavour is really nice and fresh, it keeps my breath nice and minty. The paste is a thick-ish and white and is easy to use, it's not too runny or at all grainy. I drink coffee twice a day and I brush my teeth afterwards and have had no coffee stains whatsoever.

I have also found as I age that my teeth seem to stain a lot quicker and just make me look older. The taste is regular, minty but not overpowering and I did feel that my teeth looked and felt especially clean and fresh after the first clean. I have used this product diligently twice daily and have felt some additional sensitivity but not enough to prevent my continued use. I have also noticed a brightness to my teeth, not huge but feel that it is probably 2 shades whiter and any difference is valued. This toothpaste is a regular part of my daily health and beauty routine and I am careful about what I use as some toothpastes have resulted in me having mouth ulcers.

The tube is easy to use, and tastes like your usual toothpaste. I've been using it twice a day for around four weeks, and i have noticed a slight difference in the colour of my teeth. It hasn't left my teeth sensitive, and i'd be happy to use again.

I was unsure at first but ended up liking it more gradually with more use. The paste also seemed a little thicker than other pastes which meant you could use less than other brands, ultimately meaning it will last longer which is great! Used on coffee stained teeth it whitened and removed the stain slightly thanks to the added hydrogen peroxide. Requires constant use twice a day for a longer period of time for desired results. Only thing is the mint taste could be a bit stronger as the product does taste a bit like chemicals still.

I find that a little bit goes a long way as it foams up a lot, and the flavour Gentle Mint is a good description as it's not so minty that it takes your breath away. After brushing, my mouth feels fresh, and my teeth feel properly clean. As far as the whitening and stain removal goes, well I've only been using this for 8 days, so I'm interested to see how it goes with more time. I swear there's been some change, but since my teeth weren't badly stained and a pretty decent colour to start with, I think small changes are harder to see. I drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day, so my goal is to avoid stains. I've used a few different "whitening" type toothpastes so I think my expectations now are for maintaining clean-looking teeth and minimising discolouration. I've never used any that deliver "bright white, Hollywood veneer" like results as I wouldn't expect that from toothpaste alone.

Nice feel when brushing the teeth. I got a good lather which I like. And it felt like it was cleaning well. Easy on gums also. I didn’t think that my teeth lightened or whitened more over the 7 days. I think that maybe I will see results with further use. It does tingle my teeth like it’s doing something!

Colgate is a trusted brand and i'll probably need more time to see better results. I like that the toothpaste doesn't leave a slimy film behind (unlike another whitening brand!)
