The formula was lovely and set really well with a face powder. They also looked beautiful on a bare face. I didn't notice any lifting of foundation underneath on me or patchiness. The formula wasn't patchy and applied smoothly. I like that these products can be built up and it wasn't too pigmented. It lasted for most of the day. For me personally and my preference, it was touch too sparkly on my cheeks, but the more golden shade made for a lovely cheek bone highlighter. I also put a little bit on my inner corners of my eyes and it looked beautiful. Overall, nice sturdy packaging, easy application, lasted the distance and looked great on the skin

However, finding one that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or compromise on its promise of a healthy glow can be a challenge. I particularly loved the slight shimmer embedded in the formula, which gives the skin a radiant glow without being overly shiny or glittery. It’s that perfect balance where your skin looks luminous, but not as if you’re wearing highlighter all over your cheeks. On my skin, the colour payoff is noticeable but still sheer enough to build up gradually. It is creamy and blended easily on the skin, leaving a nice glow and shimmer on the cheeks. I find that using a blush to blend the product out works best as it leaves a nice glow and blends with the skin. The products are multipurpose, the lighter colour can be use as highlighter as well. I blended different shade to create a more dimension and sculpted look. I also applied this product on my eye lid for a natural shimmer glow on the eyes. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product as part of my daily routine. I will see myself reaching to this product more during the summer month for a natural effortless bronze look.

The shades are sheer to buildable but more on the lighter end so I’ve been using some of the lighter shades as a highlight blended into the darker shades for a blush draping sunset cheek look which I’ve been loving! The formula dries down nicely but beware, there is a lot of shimmer which can be a turn off for some people but I find it doesn’t emphasise my pores or skin texture. The packaging and doe foot means it’s super easy to use. I just dot it onto my face and blend with my fingers as I find it’s more pigmented like that. Using a brush takes away most of the pigment, leaving just shimmer so I wouldn’t recommend unless you find the shade is too dark for you. It’s a little too shimmery for everyday but overall, a fun and pretty glowy cheek for an affordable price.

The blush is pigmented but not too pigmented. It’s a good blush for beginners as it’s easy to use. It blends well onto the skin and leave a nice natural and glowy finish to the skin. I think these blushes are perfect for spring & summer even autumn the shade range is great with some complimentary shades for every skin colour and season. The price is also great it’s not too expensive which I love as I can’t afford to spend lots of money on makeup these days.

Really easy to apply with the applicator, though I use my fingers or a sponge to spread it out. It feels quite lightweight and spreads easily, and is easy to remove if I use too much or want to change the look. I like how subtle it is, it creates a natural look that isn't too bright - this would be a good summer blush. The bottle is cute, and I'm enjoying using the product. I would recommend this blush to others and would use it again myself in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by May M. from Natural yet beautiful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maybelline New York Sunkissed Blush is the newest liquid blush that has a natural finish and adds a light flush of colour to your cheeks. I received three shades to try out which were City Sizzle, Midnight Shimmer, and Sol Search. City Sizzle is more of a reddish pink colour, Midnight Shimmer is a light bronze and Sol Search is more of a coral shade. They come with a doe foot applicator and you just dot the product onto your face and then blend it with a makeup brush. The consistency is lightweight and easy to apply. It's not runny nor is it thick which makes it easy to blend out. I will say that when I applied it the colours weren't as bold as I had hoped. It's definitely more on the natural and subtle side which is fine but the colours are so beautiful that I was hoping I could get the same level of pigment as what's shown in the bottle. You can always add more of the blush to build up the colour and it leaves your face with a dewy and glowing finish. I think this blush is perfect for those who are after something that is more subtle and natural.

The shade City Sizzle was the most pigmented and required more blending since it is a brighter pink colour. I would recommend applying this liquid blush before powder products for the best finish. The applicator is large, making it easy to dab the product onto your cheeks. The one thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the shimmer since I have oily skin. It works great as a topper though if you want a glowing summer makeup look!

I love how it is buildable and gives you a natural blush look without looking too cakey or fake as it is in liquid form. I have used it for a couple of times and have been getting compliments on my blush since then. The weather is perfect for a perfect blush look, summer brings out the best of this blush. I highly recommend this blush for its innovative yet classic packaging as it comes in a lip gloss looking bottle yet is a blush, which makes life so much easier. Love love love.

On first glance these blushes look so beautiful and the packaging so sleek however on actually trialing these blushes I believe they would be better marketed as a highlight/illuminator. They give a juicy glow to the skin but they have minimal pigment and a lot of glitter. I also found that when I tried to blend it, they went patchy quickly and picked up my foundation. They also faded really quickly on my skin. I feel if you were to mix it with a face moisturiser it would sit better and also give you a beautiful all over face glow. I really wanted to love these as Maybelline never fails but unfortunately it was a miss from my experience.

I found it had a too orange undertone for my skin and is much more of a highlighter than a blush. It is buildable and blendable but it doesn’t have much pigment so takes a lot to get a nice colour going depending on the look you want which may have contributed to why it didn’t suit my skin as to get colour you need to use a lot. I found this then didn’t look good by the end of the day and didn’t stay dewy, it went more of a cracking consistency. As a highlighter it was fantastic and looked great by the end of the day so perhaps it needs to be remarketed as a highlighter instead of a blush. The product smelled ok, it neither smelled nice or bad just average. I do love that it’s so compact so fit in my handbag nicely as you will need touch ups during the day. I will seek out a better colour as it’s easy to apply and is a great highlighter, but I doubt it will be my go to purely because of the undertone.

I would say it is more of a highlighter or super glowy bronzer than a blush initially. The colour is relatively pigmented, however the shade range seems limited, with only 3 choices that sit across peachy pink/red pink/terracotta. This seems very limited for different skin tones. I had the colour Sol Search and I have fair-medium toned skin, with pink undertones. This colour suited my skin tone as a highlighter, and I think without the shimmer it would have been a great colour to use in summer to give myself a good ‘glow’. The colour felt less like a tradition blush, and had more shimmer to it than I would normally use, and seemed better for a highlighter instead. The application was nice, easy to use, though the formulae was a bit tacky for my liking. Overall, a good highlighter but not as good as a blusher.

My favourite out of the 3 was Midnight Shimmer, followed closely by Sol Search. Midnight Shimmer is great for the summer months as it gives that nice tanned holiday glow. I would use Sol Search when I feel I have less of a tan. I tried both together and liked the blend. I only used City Sizzle once as it didn't suit my skin tone, I found it to be very red and make me look flushed. Personally I think they all contain too much shimmer and can leave you feeling quite glittery. I used a brush to blend them and liked the look and feel of the blush on top of my makeup, but found it didn't sit well on my skin without a full face. I'd suggest this product would work well for teen/20s with clear skin as I felt it highlighted my uneven skin texture. Iwould use these occasionally but wouldn't be something I would purchase sadly. I felt it works more like a highlighter than a blush. Having said that it's an affordable price point which helps.

The first was more of a blush colour, the other two more like highlighters. They worked well together, especially the city sizzle and sol search, as a blush a highlighter combination providing a beautiful shine for an evening look. I found both highlight colours were good for everyday wear to add a little glow. The products were easy to apply and blend in to the skin, I used a few dabs on each cheek, which gave a subtle glow. I found the products needed to be reapplied often throughout the day to maintain their colour. Whilst I liked how the product went on I did find that the colour wore off quite quickly. For this reason I would probably not recommend this product.

This would be better marketed as a highlight vs a blush. Gives a nice sheen to the skin, but there is virtually no pigment. These blushes have glitter flecks. While it can give a bit of sun kissed look, close up you will definitely be able to see the glitter. It's patchy, difficult to blend evenly, and tends to lift my foundation in the process. The color pigmentation is lacking while the "glow" is overwhelming & glittery. I'd prefer better color payoff with a toned down/subtle shimmer for a more natural looking sunkissed vibe. If you’re more of a standard blush person or don’t like shimmer/glitter in your products, this wouldn’t be for you.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gloria K. from Shimmery Sunkissed Glow [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to try three shades in the Maybelline Sunkisser Blush range - 03 Sol Search, 06 City Sizzle, and 09 Midnight Shimmer. My first impression of the product is that I love the packaging. It looks chic, and the applicator was easy to use. However, aside from shade 06 City Sizzle, I found the other two shades to be quite sheer to the point that it was hard to see the colour on my cheeks. I ended up using the shade 06 City Sizzle as the blush colour, and shade 09 Midnight Shimmer as a highlight (it has quite a nice shimmer to it). It is quite easy to blend and build up the product (more obvious for the darker shade), but I found the glitter in to be very patchy on my cheeks. I couldn’t figure out how to apply it so I don’t get the glitter in patches, which was a bit disappointing. I also found that there were some transfers and smudging after application. Perhaps it was still wet on my cheeks from the layering of products, and that I needed to let it dry longer. I personally tend to do my makeup quite quickly, so I’d prefer to not have to wait around for too long for my blush to dry, which is why I didn’t love this product. I’d still recommend this product to those wanting to experiment with liquid blush, as it’s definitely very easy to blend out and build up. It’s just unfortunately not a hit for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are lots of positives for this blush but I've given it 3 stars as it's just not one i reach for. I found it too shimmery and it's not my style. The package is convenient to use and take on the go and the applicator is easy to control. I found it easy to dot on with the applicator and blend with my fingers. The formula was creamy and felt nice on the skin and I didn't experience any irritation on my sensitive skin. The 3 colours I tested gave a good range of applications and I particularly favoured the pinky tone. I didn't like how shimmery the blush was and I found that I couldn't use it unless I had a full face of makeup as it was very obvious on my cheeks. However it made a nice blush, eyeshadow and lip tint. Very versatile and cute little product that I'm sure many will love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a massive fan of liquid and cream blushes, unfortunately this product fell a little short for me. I think it would be great for beginners, you can dot a small amount on the cheeks and blend with either your fingers or a brush. As it’s more of a watery formula I found it easy to work with and gives you plenty of work time. The main thing I didn’t like was the glitter. I really liked the shade 06 city sizzle, once blended out it gave a lovely flush of colour to the cheeks, but was for too sparkly for my everyday makeup. If came out with a formula with no micro glitter I would purchase it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been getting into blushes a little more recently, so was excited to be able to try these blushes as part of the Maybelline New York Sunkissed Blush trial. The packaging is cute - I would have guessed it was a lip gloss at first glance, but it does distribute the product easily enough. I found the blush applied fairly well, but I found myself wishing it was a little more pigmented (especially the lighter shades). I could build it up somewhat, but after a few layers I found it wasn't sitting great on the skin anymore. I personally didn't mind the more subtle/natural effect, but if you're looking for a big impact blush this probably isn't the product for you. It wore well over the day, and my sensitive skin didn't have any issues with it, but considering the performance I'm not sure I would repurchase at full price as I think there are better products available.

This was my first time using a liquid blush as I usually use a powder format. I was so excited to try this out and to have the option of three to test out in the kit! They come in very pretty bottles, very eye catching. I almost thought they were lip tints! I loved the options of the shades, all very versatile and beautiful colours with a slight shine/glimmer to it. My issues were around the application of the Blush. There are no instructions or guidance on how to apply the liquid Blush and as someone who hasn't applied it before, it was quite a trial into the unknown. I found there was allot of times I applied too much product to my cheeks and it wouldn't blend in properly. I frequently had to cover it up with further foundation to help blend it in. I would 100% recommend adding some light instructions and steps to the bottle or packaging on how best to apply. I used a brush but it appears it might be best using fingers based on others feedback? I think this will be one product I continue to trial and test to figure out the best form of application. Even a QR code to a video or some demo would be helpful. Even knowing how much or how little to apply was confusing. Those who frequently use liquid Blush might be better at this! Other than the application issues, I loved the shades and packaging and would purchase again if I find the right way to apply!

I was expecting a blush but this is more of a highlighter. Yes, it is blendable and easy to use. However, they are more shimmer than pigment. It was not giving the sunkissed vibe, more of a shiny shimmery vibe. It is not for me. It is kind of misleading. Giving it 3 stars as i liked it aa an eyeshadow more than as a blush. It is affordable but won't be reaching for it as a blush. Maybe would be better to market it as a highlighter?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would place these in highlighter category more than blush but don't limit these Maybelline Sunkissed blushers to just your cheeks. These blushers were very shimmery and while there was some pigment in the darker shade (city sizzle) the other 2 shades I trialed ( Sol search and midnight shimmer) were faint even on my paler skin tone. The texture is quite thin and feels wet upon application, it blends quite easily however I would def suggest that either brush or sponge needed for best application. The lip gloss style packaging looks sleek and makes easy to throw into bag for on the go. I found this bit too shimmery for my cheeks for everyday wear but will use them as highlighter for more glam looks. I do however love these for the eyes it leaves very subtle glow perfect even for daytime look and I used the shade city sizzle as lipstick which looked fab topped with clear lifter gloss ( Maybelline of course). These are fun but if you ask tho if I would repurchase then no I think there are much better blush and higlighter options on the market.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jacinta I. from Beautiful colour but strong scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maybelline Sunkisser Blush provides a natural-looking flush with a bit of shimmer. It's easy to blend and layer, which is great for adjusting the intensity to your preference. The color range is decent and seems to work well with different skin tones. However, the blush has a very strong chemical smell, which might be a bit unpleasant for some users or anyone sensitive to smells. Once it dries down the smell disappears but definitely something to consider!! It would also be nice if it could be used on the lips for added versatility. Overall, while it’s a solid option for a natural blush look, the fragrance and lack of multi-use functionality are worth considering and I probably wouldn't buy again/choose over another blush product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Julia B. from Not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent 3 of the Maybelline Sunkisser liquid blushes for review, Midnight Shimmer, Sol Search and City Sizzle. They all come in sturdy rectangular plastic packaging with a large, fluffy doe -foot applicator. If matte cheeks are your thing thing then these aren't for you, as they are all filled with a warm toned shimmer. City Sizzle, being the darkest, did have the best colour pay-off and applied quite nicely, you do need to be a little careful as it's very easy to go overboard, just a couple of dots blended out with your finger is enough. They can layer, although I would recommend working quickly as they do tend to go patchy if you try to layer on top of already dried product. The other two colours were less pigmented, although Sol Search is very pretty if you can apply enough. Midnight Shimmer, the lightest shade, was a disappointment though, I found it to be patchy even on first application and it ended up being far more gold shimmer than base colour. All in all I think these are OK, they are very lightweight on the skin and do seem to last quite well, however I do feel that I have much better formulas in my collection, but I think that if you are really in to shimmery, warm toned blushes and you can pick one up on sale it might be great to try.

They are very buildable, however, they are probably too buildable for my liking. I tried 03 sol search, 06 city sizzle and 09 midnight shimmer. I found 03 sol search and 09 midnight shimmer to be more like bronzers than blushes - they are quite nude and definitely did not show up on my skin as a blush (I have light skin with a neutral undertone). It look quite a few layers to be able to see them. The applicators are also a huge downside. 06 city sizzle was very patchy and I could not manage to get it to apply evenly, regardless of the method of application. This doesn't seem to be the case for everyone so maybe I got a dud. It removed my makeup when I applied it directly onto my cheeks but I found myself not wanting to use them when I had to do the extra step of applying to my hand and then picking it up with a brush/sponge.

I was excited to try this new Maybelline Sunkissed Liquid Blush as I have never tried the shimmery ones. My first impression was the packaging looks like a lipgloss. First thing I did was do some swatches on my wrist. It glides smoothly, feels a bit oily, has a decent amount of fine shimmers which will be perfect for upcoming Summer. Moving on to its performance on my face, it really depends on the base of my face. Application can be a bit patchy if using bare fingers and works better with a brush. You need to get the hang of it to be able to pull this product. It might be because of the formulation, it doesn’t work well with certain types of foundation as it tends to pick up some on application. But I can say it is slightly buildable. The lighter shades like Sol Search and Midnight Shimmer can pass as Summer highlighters. However, I found that these lighter shades will work better on lighter skin tones. I definitely cannot see the difference between the two on my medium Asian shade. The colours are a bit faint on my skin including the City Sizzle, but it is perfect for those who want that sunburnt effect. Overall, I found that this product suits an undone face better than a full done up one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Elle K. from Gorgeous colour [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The colour is absolutely gorgeous and you can definitely multi use this for eyeshadow but unfortunately not pigmented enough. Easy to apply and glides on and doesn’t smudge. For a more potent finish, 4 layers minimum would work. Can absolutely be used as a eyeshadow and a nice shimmer across the temples and cheek bone for a more glowing look. I also tried this as a top coat mixed with gloss for lips and it worked very well and gave my lips a nice pop. Unfortunately wouldn’t purchase this product due to lack of pigmentation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last week, I tested the Maybelline Sunkissed Blush in shade, Sol Search. It was a good first impression - the product blends really easily with fingers and provided a natural finish. I didn't find the colour to be too pigmented, which meant it was great for every day or the days I was looking to just add a tint of colour rather than a whole face of makeup. It's in compact packaging so easy to throw in your bag if you need touch ups in the day which was a plus. Overall, would recommend if you're looking for an affordable everyday liquid blush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this blush, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The packaging is stunning and feels luxurious and it comes with a convenient sponge applicator. While it was easy to apply, I struggled with blending it using both my fingers and a beauty blender, which caused my foundation to lift. I found that warming the product on the back of my hand before applying it directly to my skin gave slightly better results. I tried three shades, 03 Sol Search, 06 City Sizzle and 09 Midnight Shimmer. I found City Sizzle to be my preferred colour, as the other two didn't suit my skin tone as I’m quite fair. They would be better suited to tanned/olive skin. The shades are quite pigmented, so a little goes a long way, and it's easy to build up for more intensity. I found the blush to be overly shimmery, leaning more toward a highlighter than a true blush and the scent was a bit strong for my liking. Overall, while the blush has a beautiful appearance and good pigmentation, its blendability and strong scent may not work for everyone. I would recommend trying it out if you enjoy shimmery finishes, but it may not be the best fit for those seeking a traditional blush.
