Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant 72h Original 250 mL

Really appreciate that this product has been made ethically responsibly and is recycable, uses renewable resources and isn't tested on animals. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective Dove Deo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a roll on or stick rather than a spray as I think they last longer, however, I was pleasantly surprised that the spray gave me 24 hour protection. I am currently breastfeeding so require a stronger antiperspirant.  Most of them that I have tried are too harsh on my skin and I get eczema.  However, this spray was gentle and effective. I will continue to use it in the future.

Aerosol cans in 'winter' in Queensland are a special morning wake up call. Brrrrrr!!!! 2. I have a better idea how much I am using because I can feel it all. 3. My cat HATES aerosol can noise and this past week, he has been very bothered by my morning routine. I feel so sorry for him. :) I liked the product and it worked well. The scent was not too strong, which I liked because I hate overly perfumey deodorant. If this was in a roll on or a solid, I'd definitely buy it again. I might save aerosol usage for summer to avoid the cold blast to my armpits in winter. As requested, I used it faithfully for a week (actually 10 days before writing this) to give it a fair go.

It has a really nice, subtle smell which lasts all day. I like the spraying action as it is quite measured and directional. Other sprays spray the deodorant with a lot of pressure which have therefore deterred me from using sprays as often and favouring a roll on instead. It is an effective deodorant at controlling body odour, but it is winter here, so the true test will be in summer.

First I noticed the smell. It reminds me of a mixture of soap and baby powder in the best way. The bottle and trigger are really comfortable to hold and use. Next when I applied the deodorant under my arms I was pleasantly surprised that I was not left with white powder (which I find with a lot of other brands) I could barely feel that I had put anything on, yet was loving the fragrance it left. I have been wearing it all week and am quite active most days. Of an evening I can still smell the lovely aroma and do not notice any unpleasant sweat smells at all. I also love that it does not dry out the skin, it leaves you feeling soft and hydrated. This will be my new go to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh and clean [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The can is a beautiful design, nice layout and colours that will easily blend in with majority of vanity’s. The scent reminded me of dove soap, fresh and clean and smelt like I had just walked out of the shower. I hadn’t worn much black during the trial to determine whether there was any white powder residue that transferred to clothing, but I definitely didn’t notice any white powder marks under my arms or in any of the clothing I wore, apart from one time that I sprayed way too close and for too long when I was distracted but could easily wipe this off with a tissue from my underarm. This kept me sweat free and smelling fresh like soap for at least 24-36 hours, I didn’t push it to the 72 hours but I wouldn’t be surprised if it really did last that long. I didn’t have irritation with this product, not sure I can confirm the moisturising effect after such a short trial period however it definitely felt smooth while wearing it and my underarms haven’t had my issues while using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh and powdery! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Dove Advanced Care Deodorant for a couple of weeks now, and I'm really happy with it! My main problem with other deodorants is irritation after shaving, but I was relieved I didn't have that problem with this one. (I think it's alcohol free, which is helpful for this!) This review is for the original scent, which was nice, powdery and fresh, but I've tried a few of the other scents and found that I like them even more which is the only reason for one less star. I would've chosen only half a star less if i had that option as it's not a huge big deal. I'm a bit of a fusspot with deodorants, but I'm really happy with this one :)

The very first day I tried it I spent the day running around at movie world chasing after kids and after 12 hours I returned home still smelling fresh. It smells great, doesn’t leave marks on clothes which is so important to me and most of all it actually works. Thank you dove I will absolutely be buying this product again.

I normally use the same brand in roll on, however the spray brought a whole new dynamic to my routine. I prefer to save money on perfume and use deodorant as a minimum. The spray has a beautiful scent, and is quite dry without leaving that wet stingy feeling from other deodorants. I have sensitive underarms at times, and this product created no issues for me. I felt fresh all day! I will definitely be switching to this product as part of my everyday routine. It's a must to try.

It has a nice and strong smell but not over powering at all, but the scent lasts easily 12 hours and then some. No chance of any BO making it through this defence and no signs of wetness from sweat either. Best of all was it didn’t leave any marks on my clothes and I tested it twice with long sleeve black tight fitting shirts. I will be buying this again.

I've been using roll ons for a long time to compensate for this as they were most effective and found this to actually work better.
