Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant Deodorant 72h Original 250 mL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always find Deodorant Spray intimidating and switched back to Deodorant Roller some time back - but after trialling this product for a week I have changed my mind! First off the product smells INCREDIBLE - Even when you layer it with your perfume it doesn't come off too strong. Most importantly it leaves my underarms dry all day & doesn't leave white stain or marks. I even tried using it before my Yoga & Pilates session and I still smell like a baby after!!

Put this on in the morning and could still smell it when I got home from work. I have sensitive skin and was finding my other deodorants were leaving me with less than pleasant armpits through out the day and have been looking for a new one to change to. It was light on the skin and didn’t go chalky like some I have used in the past. I went a full 48 hours after one application and didn’t have any smell so that was super impressive. I really like that this product is Australian made from, renewable grid energy. I would probably take this product with me if I was travelling as I feel it did give good coverage. I initially found the smell quite strong however that did dissipate throughout the day.

After applying for a few days my underarms felt nice and smooth. When I applied the spray after showers it didn’t cake or leave any residue that I could see or feel. The only down side was when I put it in after having black clothes on I did get a bit of white on them from the spray but I think that might have been because I sprayed so close to the fabric. Very good product and I will purchase again.

I was quite happy with this product to begin with, it had a nice mild fragrance and lived up to its guarantee and i got a solid two days of coverage from the deodorant without even the slightest sign of BO. However, after approximately 5 days of using the deodorant I stated to get itchy in the arm pits and has heaps of tiny pimples/cysts come out which then became really inflamed and caused discomfort. I have never ever had this occur from a deodorant. All in all, i found that the product did do what it claimed, but it looks as though its just not for me. I persevered for a few more days but have now had to stop using it.
