Directions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth finish concealer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was part of the review crew for the Revlon illuminance serum concealer and was really happy with the light shade on my skin, I am pale and often find them too dark - not brightening my dark under eyes. I tend to have a dark undertone under my eyes that without correcting can be very tricky to cover -- and I have 3 children and no sleep that adds to this darkness. I found this serum concealer to be a light/medium coverage that I thought felt really lovely on my skin. The creamy smooth consistency melted into my skin, it leaves the area covered nicely without caking and without looking heavily covered. I used with the Illuminance Glow Filter and had a great dewy sheen which was really lovely - I am tending to go for the less is more makeup which this is perfect. Overall, I enjoyed using this serum concealer, it brightened up my undereye and face and didn't leave me feeling cakey or with a heavy make up feeling.

It is a serum concealer so it hasn’t got that thick consistency like a normal concealer. It was easy to apply and blend, and is a great product especially for people who like a more natural makeup look. It definitely brightened up my under eye area and worked well under my foundation. It also looks great in combination with the Revlon illuminance glow filter in the same range. It works well to brighten your complexion with a natural looking finish. I would buy this product again and recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This illuminating concealer is the perfect choice if you want something natural but super brightening! I found this looked lovely when I didn't want to wear foundation and just wanted to liven up my under eyes. It blended seamlessly into my skin and didn't leave it feeling dry or creased up. You can definitely see it's illuminating properties when your face hits the light and you get a beautiful brightness where it's been applied! I've taken off one star because it doesn't provide enough coverage that I'd typically like if using alone, but you can layer this on top of another full coverage concealer to add that extra level of brightness to your under eyes which works beautifully!

It blends extremely well. However I do find that after a few hours of wear it does start to crease. I tried a few different setting powders, but didn’t make a huge difference to the wear time. I would definitely not recommend it for oily skin as it leaves almost a dewy finish. It’s great if you just want to pop on a tiny bit of makeup before you head out the door to make you look/feel a little more human while you do some shopping. But I would not recommend it for all day wear, as it would definitely need a reapplication. Overall it’s a winner for a quick, brightening, re fresh of the face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A solid concealer on a budget [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really nice, lightweight concealer that brightens my under eye area without looking too heavy, it dries down fairly quickly after being blended out and doesn't need to be set with powder if that is your preference. It does settle into fine lines after a long day's wear however it definitely still looks good after 12 hours. Only downside is it does tend to cling to any dry patches, particularly around my nose and chin. If you're prone to dry skin this might not be for you. Would recommend as a solid concealer on a budget

Because its texture is serum-type, it feels very light and looks very natural on the skin while providing very nice coverage. Another great thing about this is the finish is that it has tiny sparkles in it, so when using it under my dark circles and cheekbones areas, it does help brighten those areas and give a natural highlight effect. Performance-wise, this could be comparable to those trending eye brighteners sold in higher-end stores.

It’s one of the few concealers that doesn’t leave obvious wrinkle lines and stays on for the full work day. The coverage is great and the texture leaves a hydrating feel. The colour range is fairly broad, I went on the lighter end and found that it very effectively highlighted under my eyes too. It’s great to conceal dark circles and bags for the tired girls! It also blended well too, but was a bit lighter than my foundation so I had to go down a shade. Very impressed overall given the price point. Would highly recommend as a good reliable day to day option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t used concealers much in the past, I generally tend to just cover up areas with foundation if necessary or leave them as is! I always have difficulty choosing the correct shade for my face for any of these coverage make up items. I also don’t know if it is supposed to be slightly lighter to help with the conceal effect. This serum concealer is quite light in colour so it requires quite a bit of blending with the fingers to blend in with the rest of my face but it does help to cover darkened areas. I really liked how in combination with the Revlon Glow Filter they gave my face a glowing dewy look. A sharp contrast to my usual plain skin tone and unmade up face! The brush applicator makes it easy to apply just the right amount it concealer to your face. I found that one of the main areas I needed it was under my eyes where there were dark circles present. Just a tip, as someone who isn’t used to using concealer, I would apply it after all of the other products such as moisturisers as otherwise the concealer will be rubbed away.

I wear it before foundation and i have also tried without any foundation. It hides all my blemishes and red spots well. It has a brush which makes it easier to apply especially under the eyes and little corners and i just use my fingertips to blend. It does not make my skin too dry which is so good. I love the tube in comes in as it fits in my bag and i can just retouch if needed. I would recommend to all my family and friends.

It was very lightweight just as it promised and i honestly felt it "blurred" my skin. I have even worn this on the weekend when i just want light coverage. I also tried using it on top of my regular foundation and found it did well to highlight and brighten points on my face. I found that the colour i had was a good match, even if it initially felt too light, once it blended in the colour adapted and looked great. Overall a really good product that i would recommend

This concealer is creamy yet light and spreads like a dream, I tend to have a dry unde eye area with a certain dry patch that concealer loves to cling to causing a cakey finish but not this concealer. After applying my sunder eyes are left brighter and hydrated without any product settling into those naught laugh lines. Price point at around $30 is what stopped me from giving this baby 5 stars, I believe for such an item following the same ingredients list there are other products out there that aren’t as much as a splurge. Overall if you do have the chance to try this, and you are looking for an everyday light and natural concealer this is the one for you. It was a pleasure using it.

It has a filtered glowy finish which i feel helps to hide my dark circles even better then normal concealer. The subtle glow is nice and is a good consistency. Not to runny or too thick, it glides on easy and is extremely bendable. I tried the medium color, it was slightly more yellow than i would usually wear, but it blended ok with my foundation and other makeup! Worked a bit better when i had fake tan on. I will buy again but perhaps try another shade less yellow and a little lighter.

The colour and coverage was great, but the wand deposited so much product I didn’t even need foundation, very difficult to do detailed work unless you’re using a separate brush. No scent which was nice, and doesn’t irritate eyes. Packaging isn’t the best but isn’t the worst, pretty standard. The product is quite matte, so no glow which I’d prefer under my eyes for both moisture and reflection. Overall, a fine concealer but nothing amazing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating and medium coverage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revlon Illuminance Serum Concealer is definitely hydrating and suitable for more mature/dry skin types. It has a medium coverage and didn't settle into fine lines around my eyes, which is always my biggest complaint with concealers. The shade fair is very fair and leans warm, so something to keep in mind if you have a neutral, olive or cool undertone. I prefer a peachier shade for under my eyes. I could go in with a colour corrector first but it means more products to buy and potentially heavier looking makeup. Colour aside, I really enjoyed this concealer. It is nothing particularly special, but it is a good hydrating concealer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for light coverage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This concealer does the job as an everyday concealer - it is more hydrating than most concealers and the colour matching was pretty good. This works really well for light coverage but if you have dark eye circles, or dark patches from healing blemishes, it ends up looking a bit cakey because you need to apply a lot of concealer to really cover the area. I found it overall easy to use but for those looking for heavier coverage, maybe apply a hydrating serum and moisturizer liberally below to reduce the cakey effect first.

It allowed me to precisely apply to the inner corners of my eyes. It lives up to its name of a serum concealer. It's nice and hydrating and though its not full coverage, it does mask the look of dark circles to an extent. If I were to repurchase, I would go with a shade a little more yellow toned to help counter act the blue/purple from dark circles. It did crease a little bit under my eyes but that can be remedied with better under eye skin care prep. A good, budget friendly concealer for those who like a lighter coverage look.

It is targeted to brighten the under eye area and dark spots which is what I was hoping it would excel at. Unfortunately it ended up being not quite as effective as I'd hoped. I much prefer a more paste type concealer to deal with dark under eyes (i'm thinking of erase paste type) but found this was a bit too creamy for it to do it it's job. It also causes creases in the fine lines after a while, even when I applied my setting spray. It did decrease the darkness of my under eyes and I did like the tube allowing for precise application and not overuse of product. I would say it was light to medium coverage whereas I feel like for my severe dark under eyes, I would need very pigmented and high level of coverage with no budging. This might be better used for those that need light coverage

I found that it was too easy to apply too much, less really is more when it comes to this concealer. Which isn't necessarily a negative as it means you get your moneys worth. It gives a lot of coverage while gliding and blending onto the skin very nicely. I used a concealer brush and application was a breeze. Easy to build upon if you need to. It felt a little heavy on my skin but in saying that, it didn't accentuate my fine lines which was a plus. I felt like the colour seemed a little off, it could've been a bit brighter but maybe I needed to go a lighter shade than I usually use. I would recommend to people who are looking for a concealer that is easy to blend and doesn't settle into fine lines with good coverage.

The formula felt too heavy on my skin, making it uncomfortable to wear for long periods. The shade was also very yellow-toned, which didn’t work well with my skin tone. It didn’t blend seamlessly and ended up looking cakey and uneven. Unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to my expectations I have been impressed with this brands products before but unfortunately this one didn’t do it for me, if you are great at blending this may be okay but not for me

If you had dark circles, this would in no way be 'brightening' for you. I did like the serum-y consistency, and it blended easily, however as someone who doesn't have especially dark circles I still would have liked more pigment. It wasn't pigmented enough to spot conceal - so i'd say its for people who like light undereye converage. Texture was pleasant. It seemed to pick up on the little bumpy bits under my eyes and highlight them, so not very smoothing.
