Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tint at great price! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Maybelline New York SuperStay Teddy Tint. I've only ever enjoyed using the Benefit lip tint so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I took to this one. I really liked the packaging, however I do agree with other reviews that the product initially comes out quite sloppy and thick. Not sure if it could be reworked into a smoother less thick formula? I learned that less is more with this one! I've found just applying a few dabs is enough to last the whole day (great value for money). It dries very quickly and doesn't appear to transfer. I'd apply at 7:30am for work and find I'd still have a nice tint at the end of the workday. I'm obsessed with the light pinkish tone - it's suitable for both day and night time so I've been using it for both. Love that you've the option of selecting which tint suits. I much more prefer it as a lip tint rather than a cheek tint as I didn't find it blended very well and didn't have a natural appearance as a cheek tint. It works great as a lip tint though! I'm not sure I like it better than the Benefit lip tint however for the price point, it was a great buy and great value for money!

I put this on my lips in the morning and by the end of the day it was very much still on which was amazing! I found the colour a bit basic but it did look very nice on. The only thing I didn’t like was the feeling of it when I first applied it. For me it was a bit too tingly and dried very matte which is not usually my go to. Overall it was a very nice lip tint and I would highly recommend it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Superstaying, but at the cost of a tacky formula [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It certainly lives up to its name of it being ‘super staying’. I loved both shades and felt they would suit a number of skin shades and types, both for lips and a cheek tint. I tried both shades multiple times for different events and found the staying power to be fantastic! All day at work, during a dinner outing, and just for a light every day look - I found each time that I could rely on the colour staying throughout the day. However, in saying that, I did find the formula to be quite thick and tacky. This left my lips feeling strange but it was tolerable. In terms of a lip product, it’s nice but I certainly wouldn’t rave about it. However, I also tried it as a cheek tint and loved it! The fact that it was thick and not too pigmented did mean I had to try a bit harder to blend it out, but it also meant I didn’t put too much on and could slowly build it up. I normally find with cheek tints that a little goes a small way and some times I can go overboard but not with these! Once I applied translucent powder, I never noticed the tackiness so it was a great option for my cheeks! It’s a good product that is certainly versatile and buildable and I’m sure nearly everyone would be able to find a place for it in their makeup bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybelline superstay lip tint is my latest staple en route to replace my lipsticks with its super staying power. When the packaging says super stay, it does stay! I no longer need to worry about checking my lips after eating because I know the colour will stay on beautifully! Upon application, the lip tint stains my lips beautifully and it’s buildable! It’s amazing! The tint colours my lips beautiful with a matte finish. The packaging is sooo cute and it brings a smile on my face whenever I apply the product. I am absolutely in love with the teddy lip tint and it’s perfect for girlies who want a natural clean make up look. I wish I could give it 5 stars but I held back because I can’t replace my vibrant red lipstick with this lip tint just yet. It would be a 5 star holy grail if Maybelline upgrades the formula and launches vibrant red lip tint one day! I would highly recommend this!! I think this product lives up to maybelline’s hit jingle, maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colour Perfection! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the packaging for the Superstay Teddy Tint is gorgeous and luxurious. It feels weighted in my hand and the matt design packaging really sets it apart. It was a pleasant surprise. When first applied the product the formula felt slightly tacky on the lips but once dried down it felt smooth and soft, remaining so all day. The applicator made it easy to glide along the lips for precision. The colours were gorgeous, my particular favourite, being a red head, is "skinnydip". I enjoyed using the Teddy Tint as a lip stain, using a small amount so it coloured my lips. This created a gorgeous colouring to my complexion. You can also, just as easily, use more and create a stunning, bold statement lip which will not budge or transfer all night. Superstay Teddy Tint has now become a daily staple in my morning make up routine. It's easy to wear, no fuss and the colour pay off is stunning. I'm looking forward to trying more shades from this line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well as a blush [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first applied this Teddy Tint I was super impressed with the formula, colour and how it looked on my lips. It wasn't like anything I've ever used before. It gave my lips a natural tint without my lips looking like I had any lipstick on. My lips were matte but had a really nice colour. I was very excited because it also felt comfortable on and wasn't sticky and had no fragrance. And then it dried... About 10 minutes after application the Teddy Tint had dried. The colour changed and became darker and it started to flake on my lips. I went out for dinner and as I ate and drank the Teddy Tint completely came off. It doesn't stay on. The next day I tried the 2nd shade I received and again the same thing happened. If only this product stayed how it applied I would have really really loved it. It could have been really good but unfortunately it changes once it dries down and I didn't like how I flaked on my lips and peeled off. I have now started using both shades as a blush and it looks pretty. I use my fingers to dab it on my cheeks and it's not too dark to be used as a blush at all. It stays on and doesn't move when on my cheeks nor does it go flaky. I recommend this to everybody as a blush.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible staying power [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was expecting this lip tint to feel like I was wearing nothing at all, but it dries down to a really tacky finish which gets quite uncomfortable after a while. The only solution is to lightly dust some translucent powder over the top so you aren't having to pry your lips apart due to the matte yet sticky finish. 'Skinny Dip' and 'Keep It Cozy' are beautiful shades (super flattering in fact), and very wearable for day to day or more neutral makeup looks. I will say that the staying power is absolutely incredible, so if that is a big factor in choosing a lip product then this will definitely deliver!

It performs very well for a drugstore product, lasting on my lips the whole day even after eating and drinking. It smells quite nice although I can't put a finger on what it smells like. I got sent the shade 80 keep it cozy and 15 skinny dip and as someone with naturally pigmented lips, 15 skinny dip is perfect as a 'my lips but better" shade. The texture of this lip tint was very smooth and applied well on the lips. I have used the applicator to apply the product straight onto my lips which gave me a bold look. When I wanted a more natural look, I applied some onto my finger and then smudged it all over my lips. Upon application, the lip tint left a slightly sticky residue on my lips. I found that the lip tint could be wiped off right after applying, but if you let it dry for a few minutes, it will not come off at all. I used it to create a soft wash of colour and as a lip liner and both ways worked perfectly. I was impressed with how versatile this product is. This lip tint was a little drying which is given considering it is a matte lip product. I would recommend applying a lip balm or mask before and then wiping the excess off before applying the lip tint. Other than this, there are no flaws and I would definitely recommend this lip tint to everyone who is a fan of lip tints or would like to try something new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This lip tint gives me 90s flashbacks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybelline teddy tint is probably not something I would have picked up myself. The name baffles, especially for a product that’s probably not pitched at teens. As I age, my lip pigment has diminished, and I find without something on my lips I look very washed out. So my first day wearing this product in ‘skinny dip’ I was delighted to find I looked put together all day - through several coffees and lunch, but the laksa at dinner finished it off. I was impressed with the staying power! Skinny dip is a strong neutral - not a flashy colour, slightly deeper than my natural lip colour. The matte finish does remind me of the Revlon matte lip crayons I favoured in the 90s, but I can ride this trend - it looked pretty great. I also tried the ‘keep it cozy’ shade, which I found a little dark and too brown for my colouring, the ‘skinny dip’ has a rosy hue that I really loved. Oddly, my subsequent days wearing the product didn’t go as well in terms of staying power, I’m not sure whether I didn’t apply enough or was just unlucky. Overall, I’m a fan.

I am obsessed with brown lipstick shades and I thought it was going to be to orange but it was perfect. It is a blurred matte finish it definitely doesn’t feel drying and Maybelline has also stated it can be used as blush as well. The texture reminds me of moose for some reason lol it does go on so smoothly, it claims to be transfer proof but honestly for me it wasn’t transfer proof. I wore this almost everyday even around the house just to test it unfortunately when I drank it would get on my cups or when I ate it came off and it started to become clumpy and gunky. When I applied the smallest amount it did last a lot long and the clumping didn’t happen as quickly either. I still really like this regardless I think it still last quite well but I honestly think it works better when using a very small amount it lasted around 2 hours with light application and I had to take it off around an hour after apply a more bold look as it just became a mess.

The packaging is so sleek and application is made easy with the doe foot applicator being quite sturdy and pointed. The colours “Skinnydip” & “Keep Me Cozy” are really beautiful and would be flattering on a lot of skin tones. The staying power of these lip tints are out of this world!! I applied the lip tint at 7am and by 6pm I still had a small amount of product still on my lips without reapplying the whole day and even with eating and drinking. My only gripe with this product is it’s quite tacky. I thought that it may dry down after a bit but unfortunately it didn’t. I constantly had to peel my lips apart which did become annoying. It could easily be fixed with applying a bit of translucent powder over the top of it though. Overall I would recommend this product especially if you’re after something that lasts all day!

I received the shades "skinnydip" and "keep it cozy" with skinnydip being a pinkish brown colour that is suitable for an everyday look or for nights out. It comes with a doe foot applicator making it easy to apply and it glides so smoothly onto your lips with its creamy texture. It's called a tint because you can add one layer of the teddy tint to add some colour to your lips without it being too much. Should you want a more bold and pigmented look you can add another layer or two of the tint to your lips. I think the colour payoff is pretty good. I would also add that because it's matte it lasts a long time and it won't smudge either. Throughout the day I can feel confident eating or drinking with it on and not worry about if the colour has come off.

I have fair to medium skin tint that burns up easily and I have found the skinnydip shade to give a natural long lasting colour without been too bold on my face when wearing tinted sunscreen through to a full face of make-up and the "keep it cosy" to be more of a night time dinner shade of still having a natural but more defined look. It is easy to apply with a smooth glide rather than a hard sticky push, and more like a lipstick instead of a lip tint. The shape of the applicator allows for easy definition and fill in, and I found it to be really easy to follow my lipline unlike other brands. When I first applied it, it felt tacky, but once try my lips felt very smooth and soft and it lasted for most of the day with multiple meals and coffees. The Maybelline New York SuperStay Teddy Tint in the shade "Skinnydip" has quickly become my go-to for an effortless lip to run into town with that complements both simple and full make-up and a wide range of skin tones.

The design of the packaging is luxurious, its shape, its feel on my hand when I’m holding it. The glass/plastic feels velvety which makes it nice to hold. Now onto its performance, I’m in love with the shade “skinnydip”. I have a medium SouthEast Asian skin colour, not tan and not fair so I usually find it’s hard to find the perfect dark nude shade to match my skin without making it look washed out. I was given both Skinnydip and Keep It Cosy to try and love how both look on me. The texture of the lip tint is more like those 2015 lip matte but less intense. It glides smoothly, more like a lipstick instead of a lip tint. I’m really impressed that it survived breakfast and some greasy lunch. When I first put it on it feels slightly tacky, and takes time to really feel light on my lips. Throughout the day, I can randomly smack my lips together and I can still feel the “glue” feeling as my lips unpart slowly. Cleaning time, it won’t budge with regular cleanser or tissue which validates its claim as transfer proof. I found that oil based cleanser is the best to clean it off my lips. This I like as I don’t have to worry about touching up much or when I forget to bring my lipstick out with me.

I did not find it hydrating however and I've had better lip tints which do not dry out my lips as much. The packaging was very nice though and I liked the shape of it. It was easy to apply which is also a plus. Did also seem to last a while so that is also a positive. I would not purchase this again as I think there are better products out there. I have rated it as a 3 as I believe it is okay but nothing special.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Long Lasting but Long Wait [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mean, right off the bat, you can't say it's not an attractive product. The bottle/container is beautifully designed, matte look to match the matte product and very easy twist off applicator with a nice brush/applicator. I trialled two different tints and was equally impressed with the depth of colour on both. I will say, I was surprised with how long it actually took to dry before it became matte and non-rub off. I would say I had to be pretty careful with "moving my mouth" for about 30 - 35 minutes before it was completely dry which is a factor to consider when applying. The good news is, you definitely won't be reapplying mid way through the night (or even the next day!) With that in mind, I also found it quite difficult to remove the next day, the stain is SO effective that you're left having to use a few different things (wipes, cleanser, micellar water) to remove! The variety of uses is a testament to the product though, I opted for standard lipstick use, also used it on a thin angle as a lip liner and then smudged a bit for colour on cheeks.

I’m very fair, with neutral to pink undertones and blue eyes. The shade Skinny Dip was a ‘my lips but better’ shade for me - gorgeous, loved it. The shade Keep it Cozy was too warm and too dark it washed me out unless I had a lot of bronzer on. The texture took a bit of getting used to, it’s a very matte finish but feels hydrating at first. It didn’t blend very easily and went on a bit patchy. I found it easiest to use to create the blur effect, dotting on and blending with my finger. It’s lasts ok but not bulletproof through eating, drinking etc. and did feel a bit drying after a while - having said that I find most matte finish lip products are drying. I’ll keep using the shade Skinny Dip and probably will use a balm or gloss on top. I personally wouldn’t repurchase as too drying, hard to blend and I didn’t love the smell or taste. But the shades are gorgeous and quite sophisticated for a pharmacy brand.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A luxe, modern version of k-beauty lips [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 2 shades of this product, “skinny dip” and “keep it cozy”, the first one being more of a lighter daytime suitable shade and the latter being a darker, night time suitable shade (I have a light to medium olive complexion). In terms of the product concept this one reminds me of a velvety mousse that k-beauty brands have been doing for some time, whereby you can apply lightly for a blurred, your-lips-but-better look, or more heavy handed for a more matte lipstick look. The packaging and doe foot applicator on this product however are a lot more premium and luxe feeling than existing K-beauty offerings. In regards to formula and longevity I personally have quite dry lips, so although the product did dry down eventually and was relatively transfer proof and long lasting, it did accentuate the drier areas in the middle of my lips, I found I needed to wear a gloss on top for better comfortability which then affected the long wearing nature of the product (which I personally didn’t mind). I did try it as a blush also but whilst it was passable and would save me if I was in a pickle without my usual products, I wouldn’t look to use it as my first choice. Overall I would recommend this product but bear in mind it’s not a particularly hydrating product if that’s something you are concerned about.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid Matte Lip Tint [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to test the Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint, and I was excited to see how it performed. Starting with the positives, I found that the Teddy Tint was very easy to apply. The texture was smooth, and it glided on effortlessly, making it simple to achieve an even application. The colour flattering, providing a beautiful matte finish that was pigmented without being overpowering. However, I did notice that the wear time was not as long as I had anticipated. Even with a lip balm base, the tint started to fade after eating and drinking, leaving only a mild stain behind. While I did not mind this, this may not be sufficient for those who prefer a not so subtle look. I appreciated that the Teddy Tint didn’t have a strong fragrance. Additionally, the product felt light on the lips, with no tackiness or heaviness, which added to the overall comfort of wearing it throughout the day. In conclusion, the Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint is a decent option for those seeking a comfortable, matte lip tint with minimal fragrance. Rated 3 out of 5 by from A learning curve, but could be your summer gem [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent two shades of this product to try and review. First, I want to thank Maybelline and Beauty Crew for being really Australia-forward with this one! When I first got notified, I googled the product and could barely find any information, which signified it was a very new release. Australia so often gets beauty releases behind other markets, so I'm really impressed and pleased with giving us a go at being first to trial and review! I was sent the shades 15 Skinny Dip - a pinky brown colour - and 80 Keep It Cozy- a more reddy-brown colour. Both colours are more muted, likely to suit more natural tones. This vibes with the "Teddy" name - the idea that these are like flesh-toned slip-on colours. The packaging is 10/10 - beautifully tactile and shaped like a comfy pillow. In terms of the formula - I found it somewhat strange at first. I was applying it like a liquid lipstick, in bolder strokes. It then felt very tacky - putting my lips together felt like gluing them together! This is where the "tint" comes in. This product is more inspired by the Asian trend of "blurred" lips. You don't need lots of layers, as it works best as an enhancing colour for your natural lip tone. In fact, you might even prefer to apply or at least blend it with a finger, to get that blurred look. The tackiness is still there, but less with less product. And the good thing is once it dries down, the tackiness goes away and it has decent staying power. It also fades nicely because of that blurring style, so you avoid the dreaded inner-ring wear-off effect of liquid lipsticks. I think this product is going to be better in warmer weather, particularly for those who might want more of a colour than a lip gloss or oil. The only reason I gave this three instead of four stars is that it does take a little bit of a learning curve, and it has a smell I found a bit overpowering. But that's personal preference; your mileage may vary. Overall, I'm really pleased I got to try this product and really applaud Maybelline for expanding their ranges and formulas.

The colours are nice and I imagine would suit most skin tones. The packaging is also very sleek and interesting. Unfortunately it's not my favourite lip product. It has a light moussey texture going and takes while to dry and leave the tint. When it does dry, I feel my lips getting dry and flaky. In the end it doesn't look that good and doesn't have good staying power for my dry lips. I may try using it as a blush on my cheeks instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sticky and drying [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the only way I enjoy wearing this is to blot it down quite significantly after application, making it more of a stain. The texture and scent/taste are my biggest gripes. It's very sticky, so I didn't enjoy the feeling of the formula on the lips, and also quite drying. The scent / taste wasn't to my personal preference, so if you're sensitive to fragrance I would probably avoid this. It's not a terrible product, but it's not as good as its Korean counterparts that am assuming it's trying to emulate. Korean tints are soft and don't tend to try out the lips. I would be surprised if this product lasts long in Maybelline's line up. I would only recommend this if you blot it down a few times after application, which almost negates the point of the product. At that point you'd be better off using something else.

It's like your lips but better with a little bit of spice. As it is a tint, it really leaves a tint. However, rated it only 3 stars because it is kind of heavy for a tint and once settled and you start talking and moving your lips, they crack and some flakes falls off. Im not sure if it is jusy for me who has dry lips but this happens. Also, do note that there is a bit odd of a smell to it. It is a good product but i won't grab it on a daily basis and would still prefer the other type of tints.

I was also surprised at the long lasting stain, it lasted on my lips for hours!! I was even complemented on the colour :) I only wish it was more moisturising as I find it a little dry. Even after applying Vaseline it was unfortunately still dry. Would I buy again ? Probably not, as much as I love the sleek design and long lasting tint. Moisture is number one when it comes to my lips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say.. this product surprised me with how pigmented and long-wearing it was! It was still on my lips the following morning! It's buildable and versatile making for a cute blush/cheek tint, bold or ombre lip. I'm really vibing the brownish hues of the skinny dip and keep it cozy shades - very sexy and mature, although the brown undertones emphasise stained teeth so keep that in mind when choosing your shade. Points lost for the strong chemical smell and the long drying time of 25-30 minutes during which the colour does transfer if you are not careful. The packaging is cute and appears true to the actual shade colour.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Amazing colours, but sticky gloss [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love these, I really did - but they just missed the mark for me. The Maybelline New York Superstay Teddy Tint comes in the cutest puffy tube and they won’t get lost in your bag! As someone who struggles to find the right lip shade, both the Keep It Cosy and Skinnydip shades amazingly matched my undertones perfectly and worked with multiple different makeup looks! The colour is pigmented yet sheer and buildable for whatever look you’re going for. However I found the formula to be super sticky and not in a nice way, hoping it would settle in after some time but it continued to be sticky until it came time to take it off. Whilst the wet look may be what you’re trying to go with, the practicality of having a sticky gloss and long hair is just an exhausting roundabout of peeling stray hairs off your lipgloss everytime the wind blows or you turn your head too fast. Will I try and find a way to still use these? Yes, but I’ll be trying out different ways to eliminate the stickiness.

I adored the shades I tried “keep it cozy” and “skinny dip” . They suit my tanned skin tone which was a plus . I really liked the soft soufflé texture which felt almost invisable on the lip. One application gives a really natural soft blurred finish which you can intensify by either adding a liner pencil or more layers of the tint . However I found that as the texture is light and airy It didnt last well if I had a drink with some transfer . It’s a little tacky therefore sticks to other surfaces . Because of that I didn’t find that it would last very long despite loving the colour and how it initially looks.
