I chose my colour based on the description online and have to say it’s spot on. I typically use tinted moisturisers as I prefer a natural finish but was pleasantly surprised by this foundation. It’s lightweight while providing great coverage and it’s quite buildable without a cakey finish. It still looked great at the end of the day without any touch ups needs throughout the day. It provides a nice bright glowy finish to the skin making you look fresh. I would consider purchasing this in future if I were to move to foundations again and would happily recommend to friends and family.

It is exactly what it says, it’s an illuminating matte foundation. I usually prefer a dewy foundation as I find them more lightweight, but I could honestly not even tell I was wearing this foundation. It blends in easily, minimises pores and evens out my skin tone. I’m quite pale and got the lightest shade, which matched perfectly and did not oxidise throughout the day. I find the foundation buildable, and I even use it as a concealer on days I’m not wearing much makeup. I would absolutely recommend this foundation, it out performs many of my high end products!

I loved the feel of the foundation directly on my skin and over moisturisers. It is light on my skin and the colour match was unbelievable! I have dry to oily skin and had no issues throughout the day with the look of the foundation on my skin. The packaging is cute and the pump action is effortless to use. A few dots over my face provided enough coverage that looked smooth and very natural. This is now my new everyday foundation. I will not be turning back and highly recommend for everyone to give it a try.

It suited my oily skin so well.. a little bit of this product goes a long way for someone who has troubled skin. I could wear this foundation all day and it would not move.. it doesn’t transfer onto my clothes and it literally feels like nothing, the finish is so lightweight and luminous. I would definitely be recommending this foundation to my family and friends. I have tried lots of different brands of foundation, high end and drug store.. and this has got to be my new favourite!

Love the way the bottle is designed, easy pump action dispensary, sp that you don't use too much. The product glides over the skin easily, giving your face a creamy duwey look and feel. Very impressed with the coverage, and staying power of this product. Give you a fresh face look all day. Most foundation I've used caused irritation even eczema, there are very few product I can use. I was so impressed with this product, the obvious moisture factor, ease of application and finished look. I've have very sensitive skin, and I have not experienced any irritation.

I like a good coverage, and this ticked the box. It reminds me of my two faced foundation. Very easy to apply, great texture, not runny at all. The matte finish is perfect. It didnt look cakey, it leaves a natural finish. At the end of the day 12 hrs + the foundation and coverage was still there, I find some of my other drug store brands don't last all day. I haven't been out all day and night to see if it lasts 30+ hrs. But was impressed with how much washed off onto my wipes at night. The bottle is so cute aswell! It is lightweight so it is suitable for daily wear. I use it over my moisturiser and it sits very well. It does not dry out my skin and gives a nice coverage. You can add more if you need coverage and this is also what i like as i can gradually add more in depending on the look i am after for the day. It gives my skin a glow and i think this is going to be great one for summer. I would continue to use it everyday as it matches my skin colour perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stay put make up [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Maybelline SuperStay Lumi-Matte Foundation in the beautycrew trial, and I have been really enjoying applying it daily as my new foundation. I actually buy a lot of Maybelline makeup products, as I feel they have really improved the brand quality vastly over the last few years. I like a makeup that is quite light, but at the same time, stays on all day and this make up is perfect. I remember smudge proof makeup from about 10 years ago, and it was always very thick and looked very cakey, but with new formulas nowadays, this super stay makeup is light and yet, does as it say it will and stays on all day. I like to put on a primer of course as I do with any makeup, and that works well with this matte foundation, as it does go into lines if you don’t. I would definitely buy this foundation again, as it’s the best super stay make up I have personally used, that looks the most natural. It’s a great product all round.

This maybelline lumi matte foundation is absolutely beautiful on my skin! It is light and the coverage is medium- buildable with a beautiful luminous finish but not too much and compares right up there with one of my favourite high end foundation for quater of the price! I love that it has a sleek packaging with a glass bottle with a pump, very convenient for me.the colour was perfect and it didn’t seperate even in the heat we have been having. I have done a wear test on my instagram if anyone wants to see belle_of_the_ball_beauty83 I highly recommend this foundation and will definitely be purchasing more shades for my kit.

It’s light weight but drys a little darker so make sure you do a patch test for skin tones. You can choose to add a powder over top but it’s not needed. You only need to put it in once in the morning, no need to reapply later in the day, even after many hours it still looks fresh. The pump is easy to use for all abilities the lid is a very secure lid so you don’t need to plenty about it leaking in the bag. This product is definitely a must have. Definitely recommend this product to everyone.

I love the super cute purple packaging, it comes with a nice pump dispenser which makes it easy to dispense. I love that it applies nicely with either a brush, beauty blender or even your fingers. It felt nice and light on my skin and lasted all day without fading or looking patchy. It is definitely fitting to its name and gives a lovely matte look. If you have super dry skin, this might not be for you, but if you love a matte look then I’d highly recommend. Not only does it suit my skin perfectly, but it’s light weight and stays on all day! The light weight build-able formula means I can go from day to night without needing two different foundations, which just make everything easier. It’s got a nice matte finish which lasts all day. I tried it alone and with a setting powder and both options were amazing. We recently had some super warm weather and at the end of the day my foundation was just as good as when I applied it in the morning. I will definitely be switching over my foundation to this one.

It feels lightweight on the skin and I love that it’s not overly shiny or matte it’s just the perfect balance of both. It lasted around 6 hours which is excellent for me as I do have very oily skin, I was really happy with that. The coverage is excellent a little bit goes a long way, I also built the foundation up to a more medium to full coverage and it looked beautiful, It never looked patchy or cakey and the foundation had no oxidising. I used a beauty sponge and some other days with a foundation brush I found both ways to be perfectly fine. It’s a really nice foundation and I highly recommend this product.

It goes on smoothly and has really good coverage - it hid red marks and bags under my eyes well. The finish is very nice - it dries matte so no need for any powder afterwards, and made my skin feel light and fresh. It didn’t sink into any cracks which was great. The colour was good and the online matching tool was useful. At $32.99 it is quite affordable and, given the quality, I would recommend to people looking for a new foundation. It is easy to find in chemists and supermarkets. I would consider purchasing it again.

I don’t usually wear foundation on a daily but i have been now. It’s feels light on the skin, applies and blends seamlessly and lasts all day. The texture is creamy but not sticky. I only applied one layer for work. Only need one pump to cover the face. I highly recommend this foundation for a daily, I would usually have to put on blush and mascara when I wear foundation but didn’t have to with this product. I will definitely continue to use this foundation for a daily wear, I am now a convert to daily foundation haha. The price is a bonus.

Most days I applied a light coverage but on occasion I applied more and it still looked fresh and natural, and importantly, all day. I loved that it did not cake into my wrinkles and looked like it had been freshly applied all day. It was non drying to my skin yet it did not rub or sweat off (humid weather) during the day. Great when you live in a warmer climate. It really made my complexion look smooth and even in tone while being very natural. I would definitely buy again.

I really liked the texture of the foundation on my skin, it was light and matte making my skin look naturally toned and clearer but with a slight glow. The coverage is light to medium, but can be built up. I really like this level of coverage as it makes it easy to blend use for different occasions. The bottle itself is also very beautiful, it’s glass and looks great in my makeup cupboard. Would recommend, especially great for daytime use.

It does have some mattifying effect but isn’t drying and has a nice luminous finish. It doesn’t look cakey and doesn’t clingy to dry spots which I really liked. It was also easy to to blend out and never looked patchy. It wore really beautifully in humid wearer and in the heat. This foundation also feels really light to wear, never felt heavy. Definitely can easily compete with lots of high end foundations. I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a new light-weight foundation that is long lasting and great price for value.

It has a pump pack that easily distributes enough for a light layer, and the texture is thin without being overly runny. A single layer is extremely light coverage, but it is very buildable and quickly turns into a natural looking full coverage. I found it better applied with a brush as opposed to fingers or a sponge. Lumi Matte is the perfect description of the finish… it creates a fresh faced finish that is the perfect mix of shine free and dewy. I also didn’t need a lot finishing powder with this foundation and with other products I often do. The coverage lasted a really long time, but does sweat off with glasses or sunglasses. It felt like a great dupe for a more expensive product - reminded me of Charlotte Tilbury. Overall this was a great product and I would definitely recommend!

It doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all. In fact, it glides smoothly on my skin. I use a foundation brush to apply it and even a little amount provides good coverage. The foundation stays put even after a few hours. I just apply my usual moisturiser and sunscreen before it. There's no creasing or anything. I really like the fact that it is light and smooth. There's no fragrance. It gives a really nice dewy look. I will definitely recommend this product.

Previous drug store foundations I have purchased have left me feeling less than enthusiastic. I tried this product with low hopes and I cannot believe how wrong my expectation was. This is genuinely my new favourite product. It does not make me look sweaty (like MCO Beauty does) but it also does not make me look powdery. The coverage is buildable but also looks extremely natural. I have had a whole week of 7am-11pm days and it has not budged and still looks as great as it did when I first applied it. The pump applicator is perfect and the price point is extremely competitive.

For full coverage or light coverage it just does it all I would highly recommend using a powder for this to add additional makeup on top Run and buy this asap

The last activewear foundation was really hard to blend and always somehow ended up patchy and uneven - This new addition however is fantastic! So easy to blend, way less drying and goes on really nice and smooth. Covers perfectly and doesn't look uneven or blotchy at all. Stays matte without being drying and lasts all day. The original bottle of superstay before the pump had a colour that was absolutely perfect (classic beige) and it would be great if they bought that colour back out in this blend. Please keep this one and don't discontinue or change an already super foundation!

I don't often wear this brand (have tried here and there), but this one has changed my mind. It's incredibly lightweight and provides excellent coverage, even on hot summer days when I am going from the office air on into the city heat and onwards to any evening social events. I love how it lasts all day without fading or feeling heavy. The colour blended seamlessly into my skin (and was great when mixed into other foundations to create the perfect colour), giving me a natural, flawless finish. It’s perfect for those long, warm days when you need your foundation to stay in place or even just want to rely on the odd powder press here and there to keep looking fresh. Overall, this foundation could definitely be my next go-to, making it a strong contender for my next purchase!
