I have combination skin, and I’ve struggled in the past to find products that don’t make my skin either too shiny or too dry/flaky. However this product from CeraVe seems to have solved my problem! After continued use I noticed less shine on my skin, while still keeping my skin nicely hydrated. It doesn’t smell, and it feels nice and lightweight. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin either, which is a plus. I was very pleased with this product, it’s a fair price, and I definitely recommend!

The moisturisers formula is lightweight and is able to hydrate my face without it feeling oily and heavy after application but leaving my face with a bit of a matte finish. The moisturiser is able to absorb into my skin quickly while still being moisturising to dry areas. In addition, I have also noticed that throughout the day, areas such as my forehead and nose are not as shiny and oily. The pump is really handy and convenient.

I have always been on the look out for a moisturiser that'll rehydrate my face without the after-application sheen that most moisturisers have. So when I was tasked to trial the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser I had high hopes. CeraVe has pushed themselves to the top of the rehydration game and this product is no different. All you need is a small pump, and its light, gel-like consistency cream will leave you nice and hydrated! Perfect for the balmy BrisVegas weather! Highly recommend!

Its light weight formula is more than enough to provide complete hydration without being a super heavy cream. My skin tends to get very oily by the end of the day in the usual t-zone area BUT since using the CeraVe Oil Control Moisturiser over the last few weeks I have watched my oily t-zone become less and less. My skin is no longer oily and shiny at the end of the day which for me is amazing. I’m also finding my makeup is lasting longer and looks a lot nicer when I use this cream first. I love that it comes in a little pump bottle, making it very easy to apply to my skin.

It has a lovely texture, non greasy but still hydrating throughout the day. I find at night time it’s not quite as hydrating as I like, but after applying a facial oil on top I found that this was not an issue at all. My partner has oily skin and I got him to trial this product too, he absolutely loved it and did not require any other product at nighttime like I did. He found it hydrating whilst also controlling his oil throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes a simple, non-fuss, fragrance free moisturiser. It’s also a great price point especially on sale, however I would happily still pay full price for this product.

I struggle with oily skin around my t-zone. I trialed this moisturiser twice daily, and noticed less greasiness around my nose and forehead during the day. I love the cap as it makes it travel friendly, the pump helps ensure the perfect dose. It has a unique gel-cream texture which is lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or shiny look. It wouldn’t be a CeraVe product if it wasn’t packed full of ceramides, and I love that my skin feels calm and hydrated. I’d recommend to those who have combination skin types or struggle with oily skin.

I have really sensitive skin and I did not have any issues or irritations to this product. I also have really oily skin and I have found it difficult in the past to find a product for my sensitive skin but this product does wonders. I also love that it is so affordable and you get great value out of the product. This product was super easy to apply and incorporate into my skincare routine. The Cera Ve Oil Control moisturiser has been a game changer! Both as a stand alone and as part of my make up routine this moisturiser keeps my oily skin under control all day. I have used multiple products to reduce the amount of oily coming out of my skin by the afternoon and sadly none have been able to hold the oil at bay. With the thinner consistency my skin is not left tacky and irritated. The product is lightweight and able to be a simple step in my busy mum life This moisturiser not only stops the oil break through but also gives me the added hydration my skin desperately needs! I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone to have in their daily routine. I will buy this product over and over as it helps with all my skin concerns without breaking out my sensitive skin!

The price is affordable and won’t break the bank (even if it’s not discounted, the full RRP is great value for money given that a little goes a long way). It absorbs into the skin so beautifully but I can’t say it’s 100% fragrance free. It does have a bit of an antiseptic smell to it, nothing that lingers for too long so it’s very tolerable. I can’t comment too much on oil control because I didn’t notice a difference BUT my oiliness definitely did not worsen so that’s a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love CeraVe products, I use their moisturiser daily and find that it is one of the best moisturisers I’ve used and is great value for money, especially the price point being very affordable. If you have oily skin, I would recommend trying this product as it does somewhat prevent oil from coming through your makeup. The packaging of the product itself is nice and sleek and easy to use. I really like that it has a pump as you’re able to control the amount of product better. The only thing I wish it had was SPF as the other CeraVe moisturiser I have has SPF which is a huge game changer for your skin.

I love everything I use from this brand. It does exactly what it says it will do each and every time, and I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin since using it. My skin is super sensitive so I need to be careful with the product I use. It does not smell, it feels so light and weightless and glides on and absorbs without a hitch. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to calm their oily but sensitive skin!

I have very oily skin and this was absolutely perfect, light weight, hardly any smell and the pump top is so easy to use. I always struggle with shiny and oilyness under my makeup at work, especially when I then put a sunscreen on over moisturiser, and this worked so well in minimising this throughout the day. I have been using it every day and have not dried out my skin. The only negative is that I think the size is too small, I think this is a common size for moisturiser but I prefer not to have to go back to the shops to repurchase things often so usually try to go for moisturisers that come in larger sizes I have tried not to overuse it to avoid feeling too dry but I have been amazed by the look of my skin. I would recommend this product to anyone who feels that their skin looks oily by the end of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming into the warmer months I think this moisturiser will keep a place in my skincare routine! It very light and absorbs into my skin so quickly and leaves it so plump and soft but not oily. I sometimes get oily around my nose and cheeks area throughout the day but never had that problem with this! It really is very moisturising and works well with my other skincare products. Never had a weird reaction or pilling when mixed with other products like sunscreen or even makeup. Also doesn’t have any fragrance which is an added bonus as it means less chance of it irritating my skin. Overall fantastic product and so easy to apply! I’ll probably keep one in my handbag too since it’s so handy.

I used it (and my husband did too) I have reall sensitive skin so was hesitant to give it a go at first, however, I didnt have any reaction to it which was wonderful. It was really nicely presented in the tube, with the easy to use pump at the top. There was very little scent to the product which i enjoyed as well. It went on really well and you didnt need much to spread it about! My husband noticed a huve difference in his oily skin when using this after his hsower but before bed!

I have very oily skin and this product has not only reduced oiliness during the day but overall. The product is super easy to apply especially with the small pump applicator. I noticed that it dried down very quickly which makes it great to use in the morning because it doesn't feel thick under my makeup. I have tried not to overuse it to avoid feeling too dry but I have been amazed by the look of my skin. I would recommend this product to anyone who feels that their skin looks oily by the end of the day.

I previously was using the AM moisturiser with SPF and it was good but I noticed my face was still getting really oily over the day. When I tried this out, I immediately noticed the difference. Firstly, it is more of a creamy white colour as opposed to other moisturises that are very white. I first put on matte primer and then mixed this moisturiser and foundation together to create a BB cream of sorts. Although my face still gets oily, it is not where near as much as before and I can go the day without needing to blot my face. On it's own with no primer and foundation, it is still a nice and moisturizing product. I will be purchasing in the future after this runs out.

The lightweight formula absorbs quickly, leaving my skin dewy without feeling dry or greasy. I love that it contains a high amount of niacinamide and glycerin + it's fragrance free and non-comedogenic = doesn't clog pores which can lead to pimples. This moisturiser lasts all day and is a solid choice for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin! The only downside is that it can pill up during application which is annoying but can be brushed away easily.

This moisturiser was light weight and felt that way on the skin. While it wasn’t heavy it did give my skin the moisture it needs and didn’t leave me feeling dry which sometimes is an issue for my combination skin with lighter weight moisturisers. It sat well under makeup and possibly helped it stay fresh for longer due to the oil control benefit. I enjoyed using this product and will use it again in future- particularly in warmer weather when my skin is more oily.

The average Oil control moisturiser was well packaged a good size with the need for only one or two pumps to cover my skin. It was easy to apply and didn’t leave my face feeling sticky or incredibly oily which I find can make my skin worse. There was minimal scent to the moisturiser which is nice and used as part of my skin care routine in the morning and at night I noticed significant difference in the feel of my skin. I suffer from oily skin and living in a hot climate it’s hard to manage so making this part of my routine really reduced the oil on my skin leaving me with skin that felt smooth and looks smooth

From the very first application, it felt incredible on my skin—lightweight, yet providing deep hydration that lasted all day. I have an oily t-zone and struggle finding a daily moisturiser that doesn’t contribute to my oily issues. I find this CeraVe moisturiser does a great job at controlling those oily areas throughout the day. However I don’t find that it is as hydrating as some other products, and found myself using a thicker night cream some days. I think if I was oilier all over this moisturiser would work a lot better for me. The product has a lightweight, gel like texture, and absorbs quickly in to the skin. It comes in a pump bottle to easily dispense the amount you want

It's lightweight, hydrating and left my skin incredibly smooth. I used this in place of my regular moisturiser for one month. I can say it stood in very well. This moisturiser is very easy to apply with a pump nozzle, and the design is very clever in an inverted stance, encouraging excess product to collect at the dispenser point, instead of at the base which can be frustrating. Definitely eliminates the need to balance your product upside down to get the rest out. The formula is very light and easy to spread across the face and neck, or add in hydrating mist for extra slip. I layered this easily over my serums without excess shine. My skin felt balanced and smooth, without dryness or shine. This product was an ease to use in both my morning and evening routine. Pros: Price is competitive, and an absolute steal for what you are getting. Its easy to use with an effective pump and the formula is light and non greasy. Cons: No sunscreen, and I prefer the feeling of a thicker formula, but this felt very light on my skin. Also packing cannot be recycled but here's hoping for future products. I would definitely recommend this to my teenage step daughters (14 and 18), and also friends/family up to 35-40 years of age, dependant on skin type. This would be a perfect product for my 36 y/o brother who struggles with excess oil and shine.

While it's a decent lightweight moisturizer, I found it didn’t really reduce shine throughout the day as I had hoped. The small pump applicator is convenient, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making it suitable for layering under makeup. However, I still noticed my skin getting oily by midday. It does provide light hydration, which is nice, but if you’re looking for something that effectively controls shine, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you need a basic moisturizer, but it may not meet your expectations for oil control.

I found it was great as a morning moisturiser before doing makeup which I am normally picky about. It didn't interfere with any of my base makeup routine and paired nicely with my daily sunscreen - I find some face products can cause separation when layered with SPF but no issues here. I noticed less of a sweaty/oily feeling on my skin during the day while wearing this product. Left my skin feeling clean and prepped. No overwhelming scent or texture when applied

It’s super light weight but still feels super hydrating. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave any kid of residue. It layers well with other products and doesn’t cause any kind of pilling. The best part is it keeps my oil under control while still being moisturising. The packaging no frills but definitely is super practical. The pump makes for a super easy and sanitary application. I have travelled with this in my skincare bag and haven’t had any leaking! Overall a really nice and simple moisturiser that does what it’s meant to. I would repurchase and recommend!

I felt that my skin was noticeably less oily by the end of the day after using this moisturiser in the morning. It dries down / absorbs really quickly which is great for daytime wear, however I opted for a thicker moisturiser at night to feel more hydrated. I love the packaging and the pump is a really hygienic way to get the product out. This is a fantastic everyday moisturiser with an affordable price point.

The texture of the moisturiser is smooth and it feels lightweight on the skin. It’s easy to apply and does not have a greasy or heavy feeling. It’s absorbed quite easily into the skin and provides a matte finish. It is also fragrance free, which is a bonus for people with sensitive skin. I found it to be a good lightweight moisturiser and it did not cause any breakout or issues for my combination skin. There was no adjustment period. I found the packaging to be incredibly convenient also, the pump top makes it easy to get the required amount without contamination and will also allow for the product to be used to completion. It’s also in a reasonable size that makes it easy to take with you when you head out the door. One drawback I feel this product has is that I don’t find it as moisturising as others. I understand that it’s meant to be oil controlling etc and maybe that makes it difficult to also make it moisturising/ hydrating. I found that I felt like I needed to add maybe another moisturiser as well to boost hydration. Hence the 4 stars. But this might also be a personal preference as opposed to a drawback of the product. Overall I found it to be a good moisturiser and do find myself reaching for it often. I would recommend it to anyone who is chasing that matte finish or have excess oil production.

It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and really helps keep my T-zone less shiny throughout the day without making my drier areas feel stripped. It provides a good level of hydration without clogging pores or feeling heavy on the skin. However, while it works well for oil control, I feel like the classic CeraVe Moisturising Lotion provides a bit more hydration and balance for my combination skin. This one is definitely better if you struggle with excess oil, but for me, I still find myself reaching for the original formula on days when I need more moisture. Overall, it's a solid choice, just depends on your skin's needs.
