General Information

Skin Control’s Hydrating Lip Mask leaves lips looking like they’ve bitten into fresh fruit: hydrated, plump and juicy. Blending Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Strawberry and Watermelon extract, this mask quenches parched lips to restore smoothness and moisture.

Warnings

For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Single use only. If irritation occurs, remove mask, wash skin with gentle cleanser and discontinue use. Seek medical advice as merited.

Directions

1. Cleanse and dry your lips. 2. Gently take a lip mask from the sachet and press it over lips and surrounding skin. Ensure the mask sits smoothly against lips and skin. 3. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. 4. To remove, gently peel the mask off lips. Rub in any remaining product into lips and skin.

My lips had gotten sunburnt and despite applying lip balm throughout the day they still felt a bit sore and dry. I used one of the lip masks for 15 minutes as directed and my lips felt much more hydrated and less sore. They’re very comfortable and soothing to use, I would recommend them.

I cannot tell you how much winter affects my lips and it feels like they are constantly peeling and dry and as soon as popped on the mask (which is adorable and hilarious by the way shaped in a big red lipstick lips shape! ) I felt a sudden coolness and could actually feel my lips soaking in the moisture! It is not a tingly or discomforting sensation it is just cooling, hydrating and revitalising! I loved them and will be buying them for friends as a perk me up treat!

I’m always out and about, so my lips are constantly dry lips, especially in this winter. This mask has rejuvenated that after applying the mask two nights in a row. I can imagine sitting around with a group of friends laughing as we all look so silly using it (but in a good way!). The lip masks themselves are quite large so should fit most people. They smell really lovely but do have a slight chemical flavour but it’s not too off putting. It definitely helps to rehydrate those dry cracked lips we often get in colder weather. Personally I would prefer an ointment so there was less waste, but can definitely see the appeal in a fun ready to use product like this.

From the moment I first applied it, I was impressed by its luxurious, velvety texture. The mask feels incredibly soothing on the lips and provides an instant burst of hydration. Within 20min my lips felt smoother and more hydrated. The only downside is I felt it was difficult to keep the mask on my lips, I had to either tilt my head backwards or grab onto the mask with my lips.

(Dry not cracked). First of all it has a very nice mild fragrance. The package is a bit hard to open but it’s great because you can reseal it and this has kept my lip masks pretty fresh. The little lip masks are also packed in an extra little storage bag to keep them fresh. The design of the little masks is very cute also. Now the product was definitely helping to hydrate my lips. Is it better and more hydrating than using a normal lip balm? I am not sure. I have trialled this when I was on holidays because I liked the thought and on doing something nice for myself. I probably would purchase it again for a holiday or if I need a little treat during cold winter for my lips.

It is very moist and the masks cover a huge area around the lips aswell. I found it to be comfortable to wear and easy to use. I followed the instruction to keep the masks on for 20minutes. There was significant hydration involved which is what the product description states. I did not notice any difference in the size of my lips. It worked more as a conditioner.
