This Healthy renew facial serum left my skin feeling refreshed, improved skin firmness, and the texture and tone was much better afted two weeks of applying morning and evening. Knowing this product had B3 and also B5 hydrated, soothed and repaired the areas that needed it. Very happy with this product and will continue to have this in my daily skin care routine. Very much recommend this product to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you very much to Beauty Crew and Cetaphil for letting me trial and review the new Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum. Cetaphil has always been known for making basic cleanser and moisturiser for sensitive skin. This Healthy Renew line has changed my impression on the brand, and I no longer only see it as making fragrance-free products for skins with sensitivity or other issues. Firstly this product is aesthetically pleasing. The airless pump bottle is both compact and hygeinic. Secondly, following the brand philosophy of Cetaphil this product is fragrance-free. Despite stating it is coming with 'retinol alternative' purified peptide, on inspection the main active ingredient is Vitamin B (panthenol and niacinamide). It also contains rice lees and edelweiss extract. But I genuinely cannot work out from the ingredients list what is this miraculous peptide. Peptides is a generic name for short amino acid chains which may activate the skin surface receptors to trigger downstream reaction in the cells - but each peptide would have some specific functions depending on the amino acid sequence. I think it's pretty important for consumers to be able to understand and work out what is the action of this peptide - and I wish there is clearer information on this aspect. Otherwise, I found that the serum is pleasant to use. Absorbed well into skin and I noticed a visible glow after just a week of using. My skin responds very well to niacinamide and I've always known that, so it wasn't a surprise to me. I think this is a great serum to be used under the sunscreen during the day, as it doesn't contain retinol or other skin exfoliating agents. I really enjoyed using this product.

Looks sleek and pretty, especially with the 'glowy' beads. Texture and fragrance: I was actually surprised by this serum. I liked how it felt on my skin, there was no smell detected. It sinks nicely into the skin, and my sensitive skin did not react to it. Performance: My skin definitely felt supple and hydrated after 2 weeks of use. Did not pill under make up and added that extra moisture to my skin. I quite liked how it felt on my skin. Overall thoughts: an overall solid product, one of my favourites out of the line. Highly recommend it!

I like that the packaging and visually seeing the ingredients. It gives a sheen to your skin overall and my skin texture feel great. It's jammed full of nutrients that are important for healthy skin and can definitely notice an improvement overall even after short use which excites me for long term use. This works great even under makeup applications without any pilling which is important to me. There isnt any overpowering fragrance, it hasn't given any skin sensitivities. My skin feels hydrated, while giving a gentle glisten. I will definitely continue with this serum.

As the other products from this range, this facial serum also comes with anti-aging properties and have the same ingredients which as vitaminB3, vitamin B5, botanical extracts such as Rice Lees and Edelweiss extracts. All of this ingredients help in improving the skin firmness, evening out the skin tone and brightening the skin around the eyes. I really loved using this whole range as each product was very effective in achieving the target results. I would definitely recommend using this product to my friends and family.

This product leaves your face feeling fresh, clean and feeling younger haha. I found that this product leaves your face feeling a little bit tacky after applying which is a great base before putting on your makeup instead of using a primer. If you aren’t going to put makeup on I found that serum look roughly around 10mins to sink in and not be tacky anymore. I think the over all look of this product is cool, I love the rose gold little balls haha such a great idea. I loved the pump lid, mad it easy to get the product out of the bottle. I liked the smell of this product, I’m not quick sure what it is, but I like it. 10/10

The Facial Serum is the second product in the line, aimed to reduce the look of wrinkles and boost the skin firmness, texture and tone, and is recommended to be used twice a day after a cleanse. It comes in a clear cylindrical airless pump bottle with a clear lid. The serum is clear with shimmery gold encapsulated beads, and when pumped out, the beads burst and spread throughout the dispensed serum. Overall it looks pretty, and I like airless pump bottles as it means we are able to use all the product. I used 2 pumps for my face, and the serum is absorbs well though leaves a slight tackiness feeling. I do follow up with moisturiser so it isn't a lasting issue. My face feels smooth and more hydrated after using the face serum as part of my daily routine. After using the Cetaphil Healthy Renew line for the last two weeks, my skin has improved and is looking and feeling much better. Currently enjoying the Healthy Renew line as part of my daily skin care routine.

I must say, I am very glad I tried this product as my skin loves it! I have been using it for 2 weeks now and I have noticed a difference already! My texture is visibly smoother as the small lumps on my face have gone. I have noticed my complexion is evened out on my face. The product has a silky smooth texture that glides right over the skin and leaves no sticky residue behind. You only need one small pump of product to cover the face so the value is amazing! This product is for the sensitive skin girlies, your skin will thank you for using it. I will be repurchasing!!

It has been formulated for all skin types, so is good to use for sensitive skin too. I used it daily in the evening and liked the way it felt in my skin. It felt cooling and smooth, and settled into my skin well. It left me feeling moisturised. I used it in conjunction with the eye serum, which was also a gentle and calming product. The bottle is aesthetically pleasing and the pump works well. It’s easy to see how much product you have left, and the slim design is nice. I would recommend to anyone looking for a moisturising product which has peptides to improve elasticity and glow.

The set looked premium so I was hopeful it would work well on my sensitive skin. The Facial Serum has an interesting appearance in the packaging but it is a nice texture when pumped from the bottle and applied to the skin. The facial serum was an important step and I believe it helped improve the appearance in my skin after only two weeks. It seemed smoother and hydrated leaving a healthier looking glow. I would highly recommend the Facial Serum especially in combination with other products from the Cetaphil Healthy Renew range.

It usually packs the punch with ingredients, whilst also being gentle on the skin, and having a great price point - this Facial Serum as part of the Cetaphile Healthy Renew range is no different. I really enjoyed the texture of this serum - it felt really smooth and luxurious going on, sinking in without feeling tacky on the skin. I love the active ingredients in this serum - I really felt that my skin was plumper after using this for a couple of weeks. Fine lines definitely seemed less, without any irritation. Highly recommend.

I have been using the micellar cleansing water, eye serum, day cream and facial serum. I was very eager to try this Cetaphil range as it is a retinol alternative. I have somewhat dry skin that tends to be sensitive, especially with stronger active products. I was really excited to try the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum in replacement to my usual retinol and other serums. This facial serum is filled with retinol alternatives, peptides, niacinamide and B5, to provide your skin with all the nourishment it needs whilst reducing visible signs of aging. The serum comes in an easy to use pump bottle, is light weight and applies nicely over the skin, leaving it feeling instantly hydrated but not greasy. This serum, combined with the rest of the Healthy Renew range, left my skin feeling so hydrated day and night! I found that using consistently using this serum twice a day has improved my overall skin texture, and reduced some of those fine lines. I think that this facial serum is a great affordable option for someone looking for a retinol alternative to protect that sensitive skin, whilst thoroughly hydrating at the same time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favourite serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to be chosen to review Cetaphil healthy renew face serum with purified peptides and i found it to be a great fit for my slightly sensitive, aging skin. I've used a few serums in my 37 years and found this one lovely to apply, it wasn't sticky or tacky like some other brands, and it sat well under other products. I believe that using this serum did make my skin appear brighter over the course of the trial period (~2 weeks). I will happily continue to use this product and would recommend it for any skin type but especially those that have skin more on the sensitive side like I do.
