From the start, I really liked how lightweight it felt. It absorbed quickly and didn’t leave any greasy or sticky feeling, which is a huge plus for me since I wear makeup most days. In fact, I found that it worked really well under makeup, almost like a primer. My foundation looked smoother and stayed fresh throughout the day, especially when I used it with the other products in the Healthy Renew range. The scent of the serum is super subtle, which I appreciate because I’m not a fan of heavily fragranced products. It’s perfect for sensitive skin or for anyone who doesn’t like strong scents. The bottle is simple and sleek, which is pretty much what I expect from Cetaphil—they’ve always been about no-fuss, reliable skincare. I have been using this now for a few weeks and notice that my skin tone remains even , something i struggle with as the sun comes out. i use this before applying my day cream with SPF and find that i can apply makeup after this without any concerns. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated after and overall feeling fresh, this is great for daily use. It is also scent free and doesnt cause irritation on the skin so perfect for all skin types

Cetaphil was not a brand I had tried before when it comes to serums but they have a good name so I was keen to put it to the test. The Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum is to be used as step three of a four step routine along with Micellar Cleansing Water, an eye serum and a day cream. I like that the Healthy Renew range had very subtle fragrances, many products that mention they are suitable for sensitive skin still have a strong smell which I find can contribute to my sensitivity, so this was refreshing. I’ve been using the serum, which promises to reduce the look of wrinkles and improve skin elasticity and tone, for a couple of weeks now. While I can’t say for sure how much my wrinkles have been reduced so far (wishful thinking on my part perhaps), my skin definitely feels hydrated and I’ve not had a reaction, so I am hopeful with continued use I’ll see even better results. At $34.99 this serum holds its own with more expensive products I have tried and even while using twice a day, a little goes a long way.

This facial serum also has the purified peptides which help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles which I noticed a slight difference. What I liked about this serum was that the bottle was transparent and I could see the serum with the encapsulated orange beads; I like the transparency because that also gives me an idea of how much serum I have left. The bottle comes in a 30g size with a pump; it is a good handy size that you can even take with you travelling. The serum is non sticky and blends well into my skin leaving it feeling hydrated and moisturized; the serum has also helped reduce my dull skin and given my face a nice glow.

Overall, it's a great hydrating serum that’s already boosting my skin’s glow!

I used two pumps of the serum morning and every other night. It instantly felt cooling, yet hydrating. It absorbs really nicely in to the skin, without any sticky or tackiness. When worn under makeup, there was no noticeable pilling. I was a little worried how this would react with using tretinoin on the evenings I wasn’t using but it did not cause any reaction. I definitely noticed a difference in the morning as my skin felt supple and plumped. I am unsure of the effectiveness of the spheres in the bottle of if it is a bit of a gimmick. Either way, I quite enjoyed this serum.

I found that incorporating it into my routine was really easy and I didn’t find it irritating at all regardless of what other actives I was using it with. Unfortunately I didn’t really see a different in my complexion or face after using the product for two weeks, but it did lay down really nicely on my skin and had a good feel to it and would still recommend it to anyone looking to incorporate peptides into their routine at an affordable price.

I love that they are starting to modernise and expand their range to be more competitive in the current market. This Healthy Renew Serum is not something that I have used a similar product for previous to trialling this product itself. Its a very pretty looking serum that somes out gold spekled and sparkly when pumped, however it goes on clear and without any noticeable shimmer or colour. The serum feels very hydrating and soft, it absorbs well and feels hydrating on the skin. On my skin it has been non irratating and it has no scent which is something I really value. I am yet to see any changes that I can notice to my skin in terms of visible agin, the hydration though has visibly left my skin looking more dewy and pumped. I would definitely recommend this product based on my experience so far.

The packaging is nice and fit for purpose and the range is quite appealing. The serum is quite nice, is unscented and I haven’t experienced issues even with my sensitive skin, and it gets absorbed quite quickly. I liked the encapsulated beads with edelweiss extract and had high hope for this alternative to retinol. I haven’t felt a significant improvement of my skin though since using the range but it might require more time.

I use this morning and night after cleansing and then apply my usual moisturiser for smooth silky skin. This is a great anti ageing product that helps with fine lines and wrinkles and makes my skin look less tired and brighter with ease. I love that it’s suitable for sensitive skin and I have never had any irritation when I have used this product. It’s packaged nicely and it really does the same job as a much more expensive brand. It’s full of vitamins to do my skin good and I was really impressed with it. I would definitely buy this serum again and would recommend it

It is also a great starter / intro product to those wanting to get into the retinol style products as it has a lower percentage of potency, however, you can also get products with a higher potency for a similar price point if that is what you are after. Overall, after 2 weeks of use, I did see some changes to improve my skin firmness, texture and tone. And I expect that after a couple more weeks of use that I will begin to notice more changes.

The positive - I love the little bottle and the pump works great. A little goes a long way the serum (one or two pumps is sufficient). The little gold beads create a fun gold sparkle in the serum (makes your skin glow). The negatives - I didn’t love the texture of this product. It felt a bit like a jelly but very water-like when applied. Rather than a serum, it was quite viscose. It does absorb rather quickly into the skin which is good. Overall, I think this product is good as a basic hydration product. I haven’t noticed any benefits yet but will continue to use to see how it goes

It’s got cute suspended balls inside that just come out as a mixed liquid in the shiny pumps as you press the button. It glides on nicely and leaves a soft smooth finish. It is non fragrant so there is no smell that lingers. In the three weeks that I tried the product, I wasn’t able to notice any changes to wrinkles or the smoothness of my skin. I do have sensitive skin and I didn’t have any reactions or adverse effects from using the his serum which was a nice surprise as many other face creams I am unable to use long term.
