The TRESemme Smooth Curls 4-Step range is enriched with argan oil to moisturise and gently soothe your hair for beautifully smooth and shiny curls. Use the complete range to achieve silky smooth curls without frizz. Get salon-quality hair at home with the TRESemme Pro Collection range. Smooth Curls Hair Cream is Step 3 in the Smooth Curls routine for frizzy hair. How to use: Apply to damp or dry hair. Put a small amount in your hands and gently work through your hair from the middle to the ends, avoiding roots. Leave on for 3–5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Follow up with TRESemme Smooth Curls Oil for the perfect finish. Directions

Apply to wet hair from middle to ends, avoiding roots. Leave on for 3-5 minutes & rinse off.

Only a small amount is needed to smooth over frizz and prep hair for heating or styling, too much is too heavy and weighs curls down. Using this with the argan oil keeps hair soft and manageable, even in winter dryness.

I have used curl mousses previously and never liked the dry crunchy feeling my curls get from them. This curl cream was different to anything I’d tried before to obtain curl definition. It moved through my hair easily after conditioning and it felt like my curls reacted to it and just bounced back ups. No need to scrunch the hair, only had to let it air dry a little.

I liked the cream but it made my hair a little heavy with product for everyday wear. I found it best for when I shower and scrunch my curls.

Apply A small amount . A little bit goes along way and then let the hair dry Naturally the curls are more defined. There’s less frizz and my hair feels more hydrated.

It does tame the curls and has a silk finish. Overall, I would use it again as it felt light on the hair as of you haven’t applied any products with a silky finish.

So I used it in the shower then rinsed it out. Hair felt a little softer when drying. Curls formed straight away. Smells lovely.

When used in conjunction with the other 3 products, I achieved a voluminous curled head of hair. When applied to dry hair it smoothed out the fuzz, particularly on the ends. The product leaves a slight damp/crisp residue (if you use too much) but easily removed if you scrunch and nowhere near as bad as other products I've used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On the pack it says to style as usual but on the website from the QR on the pack it says to rinse out after 2-3 min. Is this an error? Wasn’t clear if this was a leave in or a rinse out product from the packaging. The hair felt nice and moisturized after the wash though. I like this sort of squeeze packs with caps at the bottom for these sort of textures.

However, as with many other creams I've tried- I was left with hair that was very difficult to style the following day. It almost required a wash for me to be able to pull a brush through it. So I wouldn't use it everyday, more of a 'special occasion' kind of thing.

I applied a small amount to damp hair, as per the instructions, and scrunched it in as I do with my regular product. When my hair dried it had less curl and more frizz than I would have with my regular product. It also left my hair feeling slightly "crunchy". I allowed my hair to air dry but feel that blow drying with a diffuser may give better results.

Unfortunately this cream wasn’t unlike others I’ve tried. It didn’t leave any buildup and it did help define the curls, but sadly my curls dropped. I did like that’s it’s not fragranced. I’ll give it another go in future and hopefully find out what amount my hair may need.

It felt awful, it left my hair feeling awful, didn't smell nice and just didn't work.
