General Information

Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum is a highly concentrated blend of selected ingredients combined within a rich emollient base to provide faster and more effective skin regeneration. Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum:
is clinically tested to hydrate dry, cracked heels and feet with visible results in just one day
contains 30% urea
has been specifically formulated with ingredients such as amino acids that mimic the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF) which is the skin’s natural protection shield against dehydration

Warnings

Directions

Apply once or twice daily to dry, cracked feet. Once hydration of the skin is restored continue use to maintain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT'S WORTH PAYING THE EXTRA!!! Caring for your feet was a lot easier throughout this summer with the amazing Dermail Platinum Heel Balm. It absorbed quicker than my usual brand, and showed some seriously good results after just a few days. You know you're on to something when your manicurist is impressed with your feet!!! Although it is hard to wear socks when it's very hot, I find it really does give you the fastest results. It will be much easier now that it is cooling down, but it is definitely worth paying the extra for getting really smooth feet!

I have been trying alot of products from this brand because of the 'visible results' so I decided to try the platinum heel balm next which show visible results in 1 day.Two days in from testing the balm out on my heels the balm did overhaul the look and feel of my heels, and it locked in the moisture adding lots of hydration. My heels are softer and less dry.The texture of this product is not greasy at all which helps as other brands I feel like I am sliding around. The only negative for me is that the balm has a clinical like scent.

Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum works not only on my cracked heels but my whole foot: the toughened pad at the balls of my feet, my hardened toe pads & even my sometimes sharp toenail cuticles. The thick, white cream absorbs well, but it feels like it leaves a barrier on my skin. It can feel greasy if you apply it too thickly. The scent is mild & somewhat medicinal. I saw a difference after the first use. To completely restore badly cracked feet might take a few days, but you see improvements every morning. I only apply this heel balm at bedtime. Made in Australia. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally a cream that works I used the Dermal Therapy Heel Balm Platinum. I have dry, hard skin on my heels after spending lots of time on the beach mostly without shoes. I have tried many creams over the years, but found when I tried the Dermal Therapy Platinum more recently it worked a charm and I got better results than previously as I could see the improvement. That in turn had me motivated to persist with the treatment. I liked how the cream rubs in well and I did see improvement quite quickly. One problem I faced was that the tube plastic was quite stiff and trying to get the last of the product out of the tube was difficult. Another feature that I find particularly appealing is that this product is Australian made and Australian owned. A bonus in my eyes as I want to support buying Australian

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic miracle balm. My elderly Mother suffered hard, dry skin on her feet, it was terribly painful for her because her skin was splitting. She'd tried everything possible, from home remedies, prescribed items, and commercial products specific to her issue, and none worked. On a friends advice I got Mum some 'Dermal Therapy Platinum Heel Balm', which for some reason she'd completely overlooked, and within days she saw positive results. I swear this is a miracle product because Mum's feet are now pain free, no more cracks/splits in the skin, and I truly can not sing it's praises any higher or further than I already do. My feet are nowhere near hers with the issues had, so as a preventative I use Dermal Therapy Platinum Heel Balm after showering, put on a pair of nice thick socks, and let it do its magic over night.

It has little to no scent, absorbs well and does what it promises - there is literally an improvement in one day! When heels are feeling really dry I use this daily, however then cut back to once or twice a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consider me converted I am always sceptical when a beauty or skin care products boosts claims such as "produces visible results within a day" - so I wasn't convinced that Dermal's heel balm was going to be the miracle cure that it claimed for cracked and dry heels. However, after just one night (and now after having used it for a full week), I am definitely a convert. My heels were in a bad state, after four children, Canberra winter and many years of neglect - dry, cracked and horrible. However, after using the heel balm for just a day, they were definitely noticeably smoother, and after a week I feel like I have new feet. Would absolutely recommend and buy again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works wonders I purchased this for the 1st time a week ago as my feet were dry and were in need of some TLC before the warmer weather starts up. And what a wonderful cream it is. The balm is quite thick with no real scent. It applies easily to heals of feet , it is a little greasy but i pop a pair of socks on before i go to bed and have no issues. I didn't really notice much different after the first day except my feet were more moisturised . But by the second day i could see a change. My feet were much smoother and any signs of dryness and cracks were disappearing. A week later after applying this balm 1 - 2 times a day my feet are looking fab. I'm so happy with this product and i really would encourage anyone with dry / cracked heels to give this a go , you won't be dissapointed !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really makes a difference This is my go-to when my feet get dry and on the verge of cracked - it's hard to find as it's often out of stock, and I know why! It really will give noticeable results quickly - I've tried several other "heavy duty" cracked heel balms and this is the only one that gives me the results I need to be able to wear open shoes. It is a thick cream and it absorbs quickly when applied, without feeling very greasy. I normally apply it at night and put socks on over it to really lock it in. It feels luxurious and I find applying it once a day is fine.

I have tried Dermal Therapy's regular heel balm and have really enjoyed it, so I figured when the product has the word platinum tags onto it, then it must be the next level. And I was absolutely correct - it really is the next level in feet care. This heel balm has a highly concentrated formula with 30% Urea. It promises results that are visible in just one day and amazingly it delivers just that. Even better still - I felt my feet becoming softer and smoother literally as soon as I applied and rubbed the balm into the skin. It was an instantaneous effect! The balm is quite thick in consistency and you do not need a lot of it to cover the in entire foot (yes, I know it is meant to be a heel balm, but I was not going to let that stop me from having silky arches and toes!). It does have a very distinct scent, but it is not overpowering and as I used it more, I actually started to really enjoy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant soft feet Never thought I'd ever love a heel balm but I really do think this one does wonders for dry feet. I've never let mine go really dry, cracked and painful but I go in with this when I notice the skin on my feet peeling. I tend to get dry on the bottom of my big toe, balls of my feet and the bottom of my heel. I apply the tiniest amount of this onto those areas and will notice the next day that the skin is no longer peeling. Continue with it for a couple more days and your feet will be back to being soft and smooth My mum does have really dry cracked feet though and she says this is the best heel balm she's tried (and she's tried them all!). It doesn't work as quickly for her so she tries to use it everyday to not let her feet get to the really dry and cracked stage. There is also no scent. It's just a pleasant sort of cream smell.

I received this product many months ago now, but now I can properly review this great product. The product comes in a manly looking stubby 75g tube with a screw on cap, and is housed in a clinical looking box. The product is non greasy and is clinically tested. It's white in colour, and is very thick in consistency. Like a paste. A little goes a long way, but does take a while to dry. I would advise putting on a pair of old socks so you don't have to stay sitting down with your feet up. It eventually turns into a powdery finish. The scent is very plain. It comes with a "Visible Results in 1 Day" Money Back Guarantee label. Australian made and owned. Formulated with ingredients such as vitamin E, shea butter, lanolin and glycerin, as well as 30% urea. It works quickly, and if used on 'normal' feet, in one use it gives you lovely soft and supple skin. I really love this stuff.

The balm spreads well, and covers a good area, soaks straight in and leaves my heels and foot pad feeling soft and supple. There is no greasy feeling, just soft and smooth. This a wonderful product to use between pedi's to keep your feet in tip top shape, I just love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heels feel soft The Dermal heel balm comes in a stubby tube with a flip-tab lid. The balm is a medium balm consistency and has little-to-no scent. I usually use this after a nice foot soak when I have exfoliated away the dead skin layer. It says to use it daily but for me its too much effort and my heels aren't cracked so I just use it when I can. After applying the heel balm to my feet, the skin in the are feels soft and supple. I will continue to use the heel balm and recommend it to others .

I don't really have major issues with my feet but I find my heels dry right away after a day of wearing sandals. I often just use my regular lotion or a foot lotion if I'll be wearing sandals. I used this after a full day at the beach and it made my heels and the rest of my feet soft right away. The cream is very thick and almost a paste consistency. It can be quite sticky in your hands but once applied, the skin absorbs it quickly. It's also almost fragrance free.

When I first applied the heel balm on my feet I saw a significant change to my dry and cracked heels. My feet were more softer, smoother and there were less cracks. I really like this product and recommend it to anyone that has dry and cracked heels.

I exfoliated first then rubbed the heel balm in concentrating on the dry spots and saw an immediate difference. I love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Intense hydrating and soothing cream I was lucky to win this from beautyheaven, and decided to give it to my sister, as she suffers from very dry and easily damaged skin all over her body due to medical issues. She reports that she absolutely loves this product and it has helped with the problem of dry and cracked heels immensely. She has also put the cream into a small pot and uses it as a lip balm, and says its the only thing that really stops her lips from cracking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly effective compared to other heel balms I have been given some Samples of Dermal Therapy Products to try and this is one of the reviews. I have chronic cracked heels, especially on one of my feet and up until now only ONE certain cream has given me relief and closed the cracks but I must use that cream regularly which I have for over 10 years. I have tried every other 'heel balm' or 'heel cream' I could find but ALWAYS went back to my original favourite. It was the only one that was effective enough for my problem. After a week of not using my original heel cream my heels were sore and cracked again so receiving a "Dermal Therapy Platinum Heel Balm" Sample was perfect timing. On the packaging it states this Platinum Heel Balm contains 30% Urea. Urea is great for returning moisture to your skin. It also stated that there would be visible results in just one day. I definitely did not see or feel any results in one day. I washed my feet and filed my heels and then massaged some Platinum Heel Balm onto both heels. I file my heels every two or three days but I thoroughly applied the Balm every morning and night covering my feet with cotton socks after the balm had soaked in. It didn't need much time for the balm to 'soak' in as this cream has a wonderful consistency and is non greasy. My feet felt good and moisturised. After three days I noticed the cracks in my heels were beginning to close and after a good seven days, after applying the balm twice a day, my heels were all well again. No cracks, no pain just gorgeous looking feet again. I have been using this Balm for almost 2 weeks now and I noticed if I use it regularly the heels will ( hopefully) stay healed. The Balm has a pleasant fragrance and the ingredients do not separate so there is no need for 'shake before use'. I mention this because my original cream does separate and I always needed to shake the tube to combine the ingredients again. As this "Platinum Heel Balm" was a sample I cannot comment on the price of the product and I do not know what the full product size is. I searched the company's website but I could not tell from the product photo how many grams the package contains. It is certainly a balm I will purchase and use regularly, especially that my condition is chronic and I need to rely on a fantastic, easy to use product. I think I have finally found it.

I walk a lot for exercise and while my feet aren't cracked they are often dry with thickened skin in some areas. I apply this cream at night before going to bed. The cream is white and thick in consistency with a slight citrus scent. The cream is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves the skin on your feet feeling smoother, softer and more moisturised. I would imagine this would be more beneficial to someone with really dry cracked heels but I still found it effective for my feet.

I wore socks over my feet after applying the balm and it seemed to increase the effect. Also seemed to work better after using a foot file to get rid of dead skin first, especially for thick calloused heels

The Dermal Heel Balm Platinum is definitely one of the best I have used and although I didn't see results in one day, like claimed, I definitely saw a reduction in the dryness around the cracks on the second and third days of use. After applying the product twice daily for nearly two weeks the cracks near my toes have gone and the big ones on my heels have reduced.

It absorbs quickly with no oily greasy feeling. Will l buy it? Yes. If you have dry cracked calloused heels try it l was very impressed because it actually did what they promised.

I used this cream and no joke, I actually saw a visible difference in the condition of my heels. Don't get me wrong, my heels were still cracked, but after applying this cream, they looked like they were on the road to recovery. I'm a week into using this cream and I find a very remarkable difference to my feet. I highly recommend this product for anyone with feet that need some recovery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonder Product!! I was sent this heel balm/cream from BeautyHeaven after filling out a survey, and I love it. I frequently use the Scholl Velvet Pedi on my feet to get rid of the excess dry skin, and it does say to use a balm or foot moisturiser afterwards to maintain. I have a few spots that aren't able to be removed with the Velvet Pedi and using the balm on them has been amazing! I was doubtful that I would see results overnight with this product but I definitely did, I don't use it twice daily every day like suggested, but the results have still been amazing. The balm doesn't have much of a smell, and is incredibly thick, but is not greasy or oily after using. Overall, I will definitely be repurchasing after I have used this one up, and will be suggesting to everybody who I can who needs a foot balm.
