General Information

Skin Control's Glass Skin Facial Mask reveals a dreamily dewy complexion. This white hydrogel mask fuses with your skin, gradually transforming into a clear film with a comfortable second-skin finish. It creates an ultra-moisturising shield to lock in the Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and Adenosine serum blend. After wearing it for three hours or overnight, your skin appears luminous and hydrated with that coveted glassy look!

Warnings

For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Single use only. If irritation occurs, remove mask, wash skin with gentle cleanser and discontinue use. Seek medical attention as merited. Do not store mask where it is exposed to direct sunlight.

Deeply hydrating for dewy, soft & radiant skin.

Ingredients

Water, Glycerin, Acrylates Copolymer, Niacinamide, Xanthan Gum, 1,2-Hexanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Carrageenan, Ceratonia Siliqua (Carob) Gum, Hydroxyacetophenone, Allantoin, Sodium Polyacrylate, Cellulose Gum, Potassium Chloride, Sucrose, Betaine, Gellan Gum, Adenosine, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Caprylyl Glycol, Calcium Lactate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate(100ppm), Disodium EDTA, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Bifida Ferment Lysate, Butylene Glycol, Tocopherol, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Fruit Extract.

Directions

1. Use mask after washing your face.
2. Peel off clear film and smooth mask onto skin.
3. Leave on for a minimum of three hours, or overnight for maximum results. The mask transforms from white to clear as it works.
4. If using overnight, apply 45 minutes before bed to allow mask to fully adhere.
5. Gently peel mask off and continue with skincare routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun for a spa night or very dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oily-acne prone skin and have used this kind of mask before. It's incredibly hydrating so not really suited to my skin type. I find these types of sheet masks really fiddly and not a one off solution for dry skin unless using more often. The application process can be a bit fiddly and sometimes doesn't suit everyone's face shape so you may have to snip it with scissors and trim it to fit your face for the best fit. It's really slippery but once applied it stays attached. There's a lot of serum too and you can squeeze out any remains and apply to your neck, arms or any other dry areas. As someone who's a side sleeper, I found it too annoying trying to sleep with this mask on. Instead I kept it on for a few hours while I relaxed and watched TV. It did make my skin smooth and shiny with that "glass skin" effect however not that much better than using a good quality serum and my usual daily skincare routine. Perhaps best suited for drier/dehydrated skin types or during winter.

Even after 3 hours some parts of the mask didn't become transparent. The mask was easy to take out and didn't pull any facial hair. The skin felt soft and supple although I didn't notice the glass skin effect.

If a three hour wear is required, I feel like there should be part that comes around the ear to hold the product into place so it doesn’t slip and slide. Quality of the product great and I love how it has made my skin look and feel.

I attempted to use it overnight and it doesn’t stay on well, so unless you don’t move in your sleep at all, would recommend finding a few hours to sit, relax and unwind for this one!

On one hand, I appreciated its hydrating properties and the refreshing sensation it provided during application. However, I found it to be a bit too sticky for my taste, and it didn't fully deliver on the promised "glass skin" effect. While my skin felt nourished afterward, the overall results were somewhat underwhelming. It's a decent product, but I won't be rushing to repurchase it anytime soon.

The concept of the product is great and relevant to my needs especially if I need to do a more intense skincare routine for a special occasion or if I’m on a long flight where my skin tends to get dehydrated. The ingredient is good and the texture is pleasant enough, but the material of the mask itself tends to breakup quite easily so I wasn’t able to put on a whole piece of mask. Instead I had to put little pieces everywhere on the face. I was extremely careful when I was tying to pull the mask out of the package but still the mask broke off. Other than that, the mask itself is quite good and feels nice on the skin. I have sensitive skin and I had no reaction to the product. My skin felt hydrated and plump after overnight use.

I have quite a long face and I still found it to be too long. I had to cut next to the nose just to get it to sit flat on my face. The sheet is quite thick and has a nice feel to it. I tried sleeping in the mask and found it to be uncomfortable and hot. If you are a back sleeper it may be suitable however I found it very annoying and took it off after a few hours. The serum itself is nice. My skin felt soft and moist the following morning and I was able to use the eye holes as under eye patches the following night which was more comfortable than the full face mask.

I followed the instructions but for some reason it kept falling off. Not sure if it was just the one I got or if it is the same for the whole range. Would happy to try it again even though this as it felt great.

The mask was thick and gooey to take from the packet, and was particularly awkward around the mouth area. I couldn’t eat while it was on and the recommendation to wear it for three hours meant that I took the mouth portion off much earlier than intended. I didn’t personally enjoy the sensory feel of the full mask, and there’s no way that I’d sleep with it on as it would make my pillow rather disgusting. I didn’t personally notice any difference to my skin quality after using this. I didn’t take a photo as I looked a wee bit terrifying with the mask on! I won’t be buying this again.
