General Information

After using it for a few weeks, my thin hair feels noticeably softer, and there’s a gradual increase in thickness and volume. The products are easy to apply, absorb quickly, and leave no greasy residue. The light, refreshing fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering. Overall, the system has improved both the texture and appearance of my hair, making it fuller and healthier-looking. Highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refreshed softer healthier hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Nioxin pro clinical scalp & hair thickening hair system 2 for a few weeks, since the end of November. I have fine thin and thinning hair that is long and naturally wavy. I noticed around my hairline the hair is thinner and not as full looking. Whilst I haven’t noticed any thicker hair or the problem areas improved. That’s not to say it hasn’t improved just not super noticeable in a short period. My scalp and hair does feel healthier and refreshed. My hair is softer and i feel like internally healthier, and my scalp went through a healing process. The system is easy to use, shampoo, conditioner and treatment. The shampoo is a good consistency. It has a menthol minty refreshing feeling. It’s designed to help remove follicle clogging build up and honestly feel like it did that. My scalp went through a scab phase but it passed. Shampoo is a light formula and doesn’t leave the hair sticky and doesn’t weigh down hair. The conditioner is also a refreshing formula but not as menthol minty as the shampoo. It’s lightly conditioning and doesn’t leave residue on your hair. The treatment foam is easy to use. Once applied you don’t notice it on the hair, doesn’t leave any residue or weight or sticky feeling. I noticed my hair condition was dryer and frizzed before using the system and is now softer and more manageable. My scalp seem healthier as well. My hair seems more nourished. I think over a longer period I’ll be able to see improved hair growth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soothing, Refreshing & Nourishing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was quite impressed trying this entire system of hair & scalp care designed to thicken, strengthen and nourish the hair. Each formulation within the pack had a lovely, fresh minty scent that left my hair and scalp feeling wonderfully refreshed and cleansed whilst not being overly harsh nor drying. None of the products weighed down my hair or stripped it from its natural aisles. The shampoo in particular was nice and lightweight, leaving my hair refreshed and properly cleansed, whilst nourishing both hair and scalp. I've noticed less hair loss overall and stronger, thicker hair. All the products in this kit have also improved my scalp health with noticeably less dandruff and irritation leaving my hair and scalp both wonderfully refreshed, cleansed and adequately nourished. Some new hair growth has also noticeably occurred which really has impressed me considerably given I haven't been using this entire system for all that long; much more effective than all the other similar products on the market so based on that fact alone, I highly recommend anyone wanting to thicken, strengthen and assist in hair regrowth to give this entire system a go.

While I still have dense, thick hair overall, certain areas have been noticeably sparse, and my individual strands tend to be quite fine I’ve noticed with ageing and I also have natural undyed hair. I've been using Nioxin System 2 for just a few weeks now, and so far, I'm impressed! I’ve already noticed new baby hairs growing around my temples, and they seem a bit thicker and stronger—they're definitely not falling out like they used to. It’s still early days, so I’ll need more time to fully evaluate the results, but it’s promising so far One thing I loved and noticed was the scalp hair treatment in the system contains a UV protectant, this is so important as I have light skin but dark hair which attracts light and especially in the Australian heat waves we are having right now. Trauma and damage to the scalp can lead to further hair loss. Looking forward to seeing how things progress with continued use!
