Rated 3 out of 5 by Jennifer K. from Decent Formula, Poor Shade Match [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Revlon Illuminance Glow Wand applies smoothly, blends well, and has a nice creamy texture with no noticeable scent. It gives a subtle, dewy glow with fine glitter, but the rose shade needed serious blending to avoid looking like skin irritation. The packaging’s colour stripe was misleading—it’s more of a cool pink salmon than a plummy rose, which didn’t suit my neutral, though Asian, skin tone. The foam applicator isn’t great for hygiene, and the six-month expiry means a lot of product goes to waste. While affordable upfront, it’s not the most practical choice long-term.

Plus points for the packaging to be a squishy tube then we'll be able to use most products. However, there's a bit or sanitary issues with the applicator. Another that i like is the skincare benefits, especially i have a very dry skin. The shade is great, not too pigmented which is good since i can easily control how much product o can use and not be surprised to look like oompah loompah. There is not much scent too! Good for sensitive skin. The only thing that taken me a back is that it's too glittery for my liking. I prefer glowy wet finish than glittery type as highlighter since i have textured skin. It kind of emphasizes the texture. I would try to use it as eye shadow maybe or for inner corner.

The product itself is really nice; the formula is great, the shimmer is lovely, and it feels really nice on the skin. Unfortunately though - I didn’t like the applicator; I didn’t like the feel of the applicator when applying the product to my skin, and felt it applied the product unevenly because it is more concentrated in the centre. I would like this product a lot more and would consider purchasing if it was in different packaging.

I've only been able to trial it once as the product arrived yesterday and I was sent an email saying the review is due. It's hard for me to comment much on it therefore. The packaging is simple and easy to use/dispense the product. The shade is nice and it does add quite a nice glow, which is perfect for these summer months when you want to look radiant. I will continue to use this and form a better opinion. I can't comment ont the lasting power at this stage

Rated 3 out of 5 by emma t. from Um this was a blush not a hightlighter [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not what I expected it to be; it is called a glow wand, and everything about it indicates it would be a highlighter however, this is a straight up blush (shade rose glow). First up packaging; this is your typical squeezy tube with a lockable poof applicator, nothing special. The colour indicator on the packaging is a deep rosy tan kind of colour. The product itself though, is a bright peony pink colour. There is some glow factor to it, but it’s most definitely a glowy blush, not a highlight. It looks pretty on the skin, like I say, a nice healthy looking glowy blush. It applies well over set and unset makeup and doesn’t lift any product underneath, it also blended out very well, so even if you apply a little too heavy handed, you’ll be able to blend it out easily. The product will set down on its own. The colour didn’t last very well though, I found it faded a considerable amount after half a day and you are left with tiny little sparkles in its place – which doesn’t necessarily look bad but is not my desired outcome. So it gets a low rating since it's not a highlight. Rating as a blush, it’s just okay. First impressions, it looks really nice and I wish it came in better colours. Points lost as I don’t like the bright pink colour and it doesn’t have longevity

I trialled the pinky shade because I love to have a shimmering blush on my cheeks but was severely disappointed. Although the shade was beautiful in a swatch form, when applied to the skin on top of my liquid foundation it seemed to just stick. It was extremely difficult to blend out and gave an uneven appearance. It almost defied the foundation which I had already applied. I also feel as it lost a lot of its shimmer once applied and merely appeared as a matte blush. A little surely goes a long way, I applied the smallest amount and still felt like the pigment was overbearing. The packaging is very sleek and the applicator is handy. However, the product inside definitely lets down the appearance and aesthetic of this product.

I’m not a bronzer person to start with. I would have preferred the blush version. When I put it on, you could barely see it. I had to put multiple layers on to get any effect. You need to work quickly with it as it drys very fast. I tried to use multiple make up tools to apply it. More ended up on the tools than on my cheeks. I don’t think it did anything for me. I wouldn’t repurchase it. Definitely not worth it for me.

It feels very dry on the skin and you have to work really fast with the product as it dries down really fast. My make up looked terrible with it. My cheekbone area looked patchy and dry when I applied it. I felt like it didn’t give much of a glow to the skin either but the packaging itself is really nice and works well but the product on its own is just terrible.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone especially someone who has dry skin as it does look patchy and dry.

I tried the golden highlight wand, hoping for a sheer, glowy, non glittery finish that blended in super well with my makeup or bare skin. I tried this on with a full face of makeup inside normal lighting, upon going outside and looking up close in a mirror I was shocked at how glittery and metallic the finish on my skin was. Horrible. I then thought maybe it would be better used on my body (chest, shoulders) but that also was not the case. It left the high points of my face looking super textured and grainy looking. Only place it looked okay was on my eyelids. It does come in a nice packaging tube, and the product is easy to dispense.Great if you love a glittery metallic look.... not for me.
