It has a fresh citrusy scent that I just divine without being overpowering. The product itself is white with a jelly like texture. Which initially seems a bit difficult to scoop out. However once you do, and warm it up in your hands… it’s pretty smooth. One drawback is that you have to dig your fingers into the product, which can make it a little unhygienic. When I initially used it, I was a little less than impressed. But I am glad I persisted and gave it another try. It gives you an awesome base for your makeup application. It made my face look smooth and uniform. And it made my makeup last all day. A little goes a long way and I am really impressed with how well the product held up. Definitely a must have

Previously they were to thick or oily, difficult to apply and never sat right with my makeup but this one is another story. It went on easily and smoothly. It went into my skin quickly and I was able to apply makeup quickly after. My makeup sit nicely all day and barely came off. My skin appearance has also changed. My skin stays hydrated for longer and less itchy. I will definitely will consider purchasing this product again once I have ran out.

It provides such gorgeous even, smooth skin with this gorgeous glow! It made putting on my makeup so easy and I am certain I have been using less since using the primer. The packaging is sweet. It doesnt really stand out which is a bit unfortunate because it is such a great primer. Depending on your skin type, I can see how some feel like they need more from this. product - I just used my normal skin care and makeup routine and it worked amazingly tor me. I really like this primer and I am not usually a Revlon fan!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hydration at its best [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first reaction of the primer was that it had an interesting texture, and I wasn’t too fond of the smell (it dissipated when I put it on so it wasn’t an issue). My main concern is usually that my skin (especially around my nose and mouth) can get very dry and it will show up on top of my makeup. Luck would have it that I was recovering from a slight cold and the dry skin had been more visible than usual. I tried the primer with and without makeup because I wanted to see how moisturizing it was and I was pleasantly surprised. Make up stayed on relatively well and the skin around my mouth and nose did not flake like usual. Some of the days that I had used the primer were quite hot and I felt that my makeup didn’t move around as much as it would have usually. Overall, this a good product that I will be integrating into my makeup routine.

I love the hydrating feel and the nice thick texture that smooths over your skin easily. I definitely noticed a difference in my skin after removing makeup, healthier and hydrated. I'm so glad Revlon taken a step away from the slimey sticky finish primers and created one that ticks all the boxes for protecting the skin and giving makeup a beautiful glowing finish. My makeup easily lasted all day with this primer and it helped stop drying out of the face throughout the day. The product packaging design is simple and effective making this easy to use and apply to the face. Will definitely be purchasing this product again as it is such great value for money. 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a new primer for hydrated and healthy looking skin.

The texture is so unique to anything else ive ever seen, its somewhere between a balm and a primer. When applied, it transforms into a soft, invisible powder that controls shine beautifully. It worked wonders on my oily skin, especially on the T-zone, and layers perfectly under my makeup. I even tried dabbing it over my foundation at the end of a work day, just before a night event, and it puts the makeup back in shape, only a bit of lipstick needed to finish the look. Easy to carry around, i am a fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tend to love make-up-skincare hybrid products, and this is by far my favourite product in that category, it is packed with nourishing ingredients, so sometimes I would just use this as my moisturiser when I am in a hurry. It has a cushiony and rich texture, but it sinks into my skin very quickly without leaving any greasy residue. Even though, this product says "Balm", on my oily skin I don't feel heavy at all. As for its performance as a make-up primer, it does make my foundation look a bit more glowy and natural, as well as making the foundation more blendable. Overall, I enjoy using this product, and I would love to repurchase it when I run out.

I find that it applies really nicely and smoothly on the skin and absorbs nicely without feeling as though it's sitting on top of the skin. My foundation applied really nicely over the top and the wear has lasted all day and delivered the promised illuminating effect. It has no strong fragrance which is great for those with sensitive skin. My only qualms with this product was initial confusion as to how much to use. The product is quite set in the jar so I found myself having to scrape off a chunk with my fingernail which doesn't feel super hygienic and the directions don't give any indication as to the recommended quantity. Nonetheless, I've worked out how to make it work for me and would definitely repurchase and recommend.

This primer has a lightweight, silky texture that glides effortlessly onto my skin, creating a smooth and hydrated base. One of the biggest benefits I’ve noticed is how beautifully it makes my foundation sit on my skin. It helps my makeup apply more evenly and seamlessly and stays put for the whole day. My foundation stays put with no separation, creasing, or patchiness—something I’ve struggled with in the past by the end of the day. It has a very subtle citrus fragrance. After cleansing, I apply my hyaluronic acid serum and then add the balm primer/moisturiser on top. I think for younger skin the balm would be hydrating enough on its own. The balm isn't greasy, so you don't have to wait for it to settle in before getting started on your makeup routine. If you’re looking for a primer that extends the wear of your foundation and keeps your complexion looking fresh all day, I highly recommend this one!

The texture is unlike anything else. Described as a balm, to me it feels like creme brûlée! It picks up really easily with a brush and glides on your face effortlessly. The scent is incredible too!! Once wearing the moisturising primer it is easy to apply makeup and go about my day. It adds extra shine to my daily makeup, provides hydration and assists with daily wear. I have found my makeup lasts longer with this primer than my last. My skin is much smoother and moisturised too. Highly recommend!

Usually I wouldn’t even give it a chance, however I decided to have a little faith in Revlon and believe me when I tell you they did not disappoint! I’m going to preface this by saying that I do have oily, fair skin that I need to slather in copious amounts of sunscreen every morning. Its rare for me to fine a primer that can endure all that without my make up sliding off or breaking up by 5pm. I tested this primer on top of my normal morning skincare routine and on top of my sunscreen. Immediately I was impressed that this did not pill being layered over all that! The clean, citrus scent was welcome and inviting for the day ahead. My makeup applied beautifully, my skin had a healthy glow and my fine lines and pores were less visible. My skin felt soft, plump and looked hydrated. Now here was the hard part: longevity. The first 3 days of wearing this primer were all above 40̊ and I didn’t have high expectations. However this primer held her end of the bargain! My skin looked hydrated but not sweaty and my makeup still looked flawless even when I arrived home at the end of the day. This is now my go-to primer. Thank you Revlon!

When I first opened this I was surprised by the jelly like texture, but ended up quite liking it. The product is really moisturising without being greasy. I find that it keeps my skin looking hydrated and blurred without going oily throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this for women with dry skin that want a primer that locks in moisture and gives a blurred effect. I tried this on its own, under light makeup and under a full face and found it performed well in every trial. Note that this product does have a light scent (citrusy), so probably avoid it if you usually avoid fragrance.

It's lightweight and you need just a little and it's very easy to apply. It spreads out evenly on your face and makes it soft. I don't apply makeup every day but always finish off with a primer to get that even skin tone and finish and I love that it does the work of a moisturiser as well so I don't have to put both on! It also doesn't make my skin oily which for me is a very big problem after applying this throughout the day I noticed it wasn't making my skin oily.

A super fun bouncy texture, like the first scoop of Greek yogurt. It has a super pleasant smell but isn’t so fragranced as to be uncomfortable for sensitive skin. It had helped to even my skin texture especially in my dry areas on my cheeks. I have used it as a primer and as a moisturiser on its own and it has not made my combo skin oily or inflamed and it hasn’t at all negatively impacted my makeup, both my quick routine and more in depth routine. Would 100% recommend this as it is super versatile, great if you aren’t looking for something sticky or overly grippy and is a super welcome edition to my makeup routine even under my regular primers. This product has been made to suit all skin types and it has worked wonders for myself and I can see how it would work well on everyone else too Doesn’t make makeup slip or slide but also isn’t grippy to the point of excess.

The balm itself has a slight citrusy scent, which I loved - felt very summery! It made my foundation stay put all day, even in the summer heat. I was very happy with this product, and it has definitely replaced my usual primer!

Glides easily on skin and gives you dewy look but not oily! I use Mac foundation which I find it bit dry on my combination skin, sometimes its diffult to blend and looks patchy if i don't use makeup sponge! but this primer solved my problem by not only making it easier to blend but also keeping my skin fresh and dewy for whole day.Bonus points is the lovely citrus smell and the jelly texture.The small bottle goes long way as you need only little bit and will definitely buy it again once I finish the whole bottle.Loved it!!

I have tried so many primers and have sensitive skin so am always looking for the next best product that doesn't irritate my skin & makeup routine. I love the packaging of this primer.. it kept my face feeling & looking smooth and hydrated which is definitely the goal. The texture was great, not to thick or clumpy and it lasted all day which was great to see as some primer products just don't last. The primer smells nice and is super easy to apply. I would 100% buy this and recommend it to my friends and family.
