Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m writing the review now and I know it’s very late but I got this product delivered not long ago and I wanted to be really honest about this review. I do struggle to find a good shampoo for my hair in a normal shop. I don’t like spending too much many on my shampoo so Tresemme is perfect for me since it’s a great price. Previously I wasn’t too happy with the brand. I just felt like it’s too much for my hair. My hair is blonde and frizzy. I have to say I have changed my mind about this brand because I really do love this shampoo. My hair feels extremely soft just after one use. I don’t have frizzy hair anymore and that’s absolutely amazing! I love this shampoo and will definitely be using it in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good mainstream brand product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tresemme has been around for a long time and their products have always been of a fair quality. However, with the improvements done on this formula, the results have been exceptional. I suffer from dry, frizzy hair and in colder months I tend to develop a flaky scalp that reacts to even my normal shampoo. Surprisingly, my hair and scalp loved this shampoo. It did not weigh down my hair but managed to yield the smooth and silky results that it promises. Frizziness is now a thing of the past and no more tangling of the hair. I also noticed that my hair did grow a considerable amount in both thickness and length and it can only be attributed to this shampoo and conditioner duo. The scent is lovely and lingers for a few days on the hair. The superior ingredients are nourishing for the hair and if I may say so this Shampoo is actually selling itself short of its results. The product is housed in a large pump bottle which is great for ease of use, no fumbling with wet hands to try and pry any lids open, with almost a litre superior product packed inside, all at an affordable price. Do yourself a favour and try this out, it outperforms my current salon shampoo.

Their products are Australian made, salon quality, varied in ranges and at a great price point. They are also cruelty free and Peta approved. The Smooth and Silky Shampoo is designed specifically for dry, frizzy hair (like mine) and cleans without stripping the moisture from the hair. It contains vitamin A, strengthening silk proteins as well as sunflower seed oil and argan oil to moisturise and smooth frizz. There are no alcohol, parabens or dyes. This is a pump action bottle which is so convenient, you don’t need too much to get a good lather going(good value for money). It doesn’t make your hair feel squeaky like cheap shampoo does which is good. It smells delicious which is honestly one of the most important things in my book. Like apples. Like any good shampoo it’s ideal to follow with a paired conditioner so make sure you use the Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner after to enjoy your frizz free locks!

The shampoo does a perfect job at removing all excess product build up, leaving my hair clean without it feeling really dry. It has a subtle scent to it, which I find refreshing. I love the packaging and that it is available in a big sized bottle. I would definitely repurchase as it's helped lessen how frizzy my hair is. I definitely would recommend this range to those who have dry and frizzy hair.

This shampoo pump was hard to open (had to unscrew the whole lid) and get to work. Once working to pump dispenses really well fast and ample product. The shampoo SMELLS SO NICE sweet like lollies and really fresh and yummy. Once applied the shampoo instantly foams and washed my hair REALLY WELL even 1st wash (I usually do 2 shampoos). upon rinsing hair was left squeaky clean, feeling like an extreme cleanse. I didn't feel soft and smooth from the shampoo alone but when using with the matching conditioner, once hair was dried, was ABSOLUTELY, smooth, tame and extremely silky. So silky and soft that it was a dream to style. Something I don't get very often with my hair. Highly recommended this shampoo / conditioner combo xx

But really, should we? Because I think Tresemme has done an astounding job on their Smooth and Silky Shampoo. So much so my entire family has jumped on the bandwagon and are all using it with stellar results. And when the family is happy, then this Mum is ecstatic. At just under a litre of product in a handy pump style bottle, Tresemme Smooth and Silky slay at the price point. The scent is heavenly and the shampoo lathers so well in my hair. I always start with the first wash at just my roots so I can cleanse my scalp and give myself a head massage. This is when I realised just how much this product lathers to give my hair a really good clean. So much so that the lather was enough to wash the entirety of the rest of my hair as well in just one wash. When I rinse the shampoo, I have found my hair to be a lot happier than I have noticed with other supermarket brands. It is indeed silky and smooth and can even be managed with a brush or wide toothed comb at this stage before even touching the conditioner. From the very first wash, I knew this shampoo was going to control my frizz with my natural curls. It felt different, in fact, it felt amazing. I know I will continue to purchase this shampoo for myself and the whole family. It's economical, it does what it says it will do, and overall, my hair is shinier, happier and healthier than it has been in a very long time. Im very impressed.

The shampoo smells lovely and it foams up nicely i liked the texture of the shampoo, thick and rich, It lathers easily and washes out without any hassle. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fights Frizz Well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy “high end” expensive shampoos to fight my dry frizzy hair so I wasn’t hopeful that a super market brand would be able to treat my dry hair effectively; but I was wrong. Fresh smelling (no chemical smell) and was easy to apply through the easy access pump bottle. I “double washed” and my hair felt clean as it lathered well with lots of suds which I like. I focused the shampoo on the roots of my hair that is oily and let the shampoo wash the ends without much effort. I felt it had washed my hair well and prepared the hair perfectly for the conditioner to come.

So thanks Beautyheaven! I must say I really liked using Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil and I’ll continue to do so as it’s great and lives up to it’s name. Firstly I did love the scent of this shampoo, it made my hair smell lovely as well. It’s a pump bottle, and as I have really long hair I used more than one pump, but one pump would be good for short hair. I usually use salon shampoos so I was really quite impressed with Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil as it really did feel like it was salon quality! Overall great product especially if you’re on a budget. It left my hair feeling great!

So, my main concern is frizz control. After using this shampoo pairing it with the Smooth & Silky Condition my hair felt much smoother and softer. I normally use shampoo twice, it helps me to get rid of the oil and dirt first and second time to make it squeaky clean (that’s how it stays clean for longer and smells amazing). I like that there is no parabens, alcohol or dyes in the shampoo, because it’s streaks out the moisture out of my hair. Plus I like the addition of sunflower seed oil & Vitamin A in it. Overall great shampoo, smells like salon quality and will last for so long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Impressive [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent Tresemme Smooth and Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins and Argan Oil to trial. My hair is long with a 2b wave (2c when its shorter and less heavy), as a result, I often find my mid lengths and ends are frizzy, but the roots can be oily. I typically will use a shampoo, conditioner, a leave in conditioner treatment and additional conditioning products through the week. My hair needs styling for going to the office or social events, the curl pattern isnt enough to look finessed. The first thing i noticed upon receiving the shampoo and conditioner set was the smell. Its a lovely scented shampoo and i actually really noticed the smell lingering. I personally love scented products and am not sensitive to them, so this was right up my alley. The second thing to mention is the generous packaging size. Tresemme lasts me a long time. I do not wash my hair every day, i try to go three days (and may push it to 4 if i have no plans across a weekend). The 940ml pack lasts me months. So whilst the price is a little higher, the value of that bigger size definitely makes it worthwhile. I was incredibly impressed about how this shampoo and conditioner suited my hair. My hair is soft, and actually frizz free! I dont feel the need to use any leave in conditioning post using this combo. I will still use a straightening or antifrizz serum (particulaly on day 2 or 3), but i definitely saw a massive improvement to the texture of my hair, from the first wash. If I was to look for a negative, i would say this is potentially a little heavy for fine or thin hair. My hair isnt super thick, but with the length, it was fine. I do think that if my hair was shorter I might find it too limp or weighed down from the product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silky smooth hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The large size of this product can be overwhelming at first, because for me personally it is quite heavy in comparison to the shampoo I would normally use from The Body Shop. Casting the weight of this product aside, I was naturally curious and open minded in giving this a red hot go. I have had problems with frizzy ends, as well as my hair being a touch oily. Then again, personally having Covid twice this year has not been great for my hair either; despite being on natural hair and energy supplements. Even in sheer comparison to the Agraria brand (the shampoo and conditioner set given to me from a recent hotel stay); I have to say that this product is fantastic to use. Just 1.5 pumps is enough to shampoo my hair at a time, and every second day - my hair is silky smooth. Just touch it from the roots to the ends, and I am impressed. The frizz on the bottom ends is now less frizzy. Thank you so much. Needless to say, my head of long hair feels youthful and glowing all over again.

It is a very affordable and large bottle The shampoo is easy to apply and lather My scalp feels clean and hydrated and my hair is silky and generally more manageable with reduced frizz It’s a nice experience to use and I will continue to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful smooth hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really pleasantly surprised with this shampoo, my hair is fine and frizzy and quite a lot of it, so it ends up quite poofy and knotted at times. This shampoo really did help tame the frizz and smooth the fly always. I was really impressed that it kept my hair quite smooth and soft for a number of days as I tend to only wash my hair two two times a week and being quite dry it has a tendency to end up feeling a bit wiry. The scent of this shampoo was really pleasant too, not too overpowering and quite a lovely fragrance. Also as always the bottle size is great it will last a long time before I need to purchase more! I do recommend trying if you suffer from frizzy and dry hair, plus another bonus is no parabens or alcohol so overall better for your hair!

However, given that the price of everything is going up I was really keen to try such an affordable product - $7 for one litre! I have fluffy, frizzy and wavy hair so have been searching for products to smooth and contain my tresses ALL MY LIFE. Tresemme's smooth and silky shampoo has a nice apple-y scent and foams up easily. Using this shampoo felt like my hair was getting a really good cleanse. I used it with the paired conditioner and, overall, found that it made my hair shiny and soft. I blow dried and straightened my wild locks as usual and the results were good! My hair did feel a bit bouncier than usual (but some people will like this!) but stayed smooth and shiny.

Not only it delivers the smooth and silky hair that are easier to manage and style but contains great ingredients like silk proteins and argan oil. My coarse and fizzy hair were not only smooth and silky but a lot softer, sleek and shinier. I do like the larger salon size packaging and easy to use pump dispenser. Also different colour for shampoo and conditioner bottles are a smart decision and you don’t have to read the name before using it. Overall great shampoo for great price and easily available.

I live in a sub-tropical region and lately the incessant rain and moisture has had my poor hair in a frizzy mess. I have not worn my hair down for a long time because the only way to control the frizz is to wear it up. I was so excited to try this shampoo. I found it be a really nice light texture and feel. It lathers up so well but is not heavy. The scent is lovely and not too strong. What I like most is that it leaves the hair really clean and smooth but weightless. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or feel oily which is something I find with other frizz-busting products. It’s a very light-weight formula, but offers smoothing and moisture. I did notice a huge improvement in my frizzy fly-always. I have nothing negative to report about this product. I love the pump bottle, the size, and everything about it. Highly recommend.

Quality ingredients & made my hair feel amazing! The scent is quite nice & not overpowering and the consistency was perfect, neither too thick or too thin. Application was easy as the pump bottle gives you the perfect amount to apply every time! I really felt like I was using a salon based brand of shampoo! I also liked how it didn’t make my hair feel overly greasy or oily once my hair dried. Actually felt like my hair was in better condition and this was just after using it 5-6 times!

Since it's so inexpensive, I wasn't expecting to like it all that much, but it really seems to pack a punch. The shampoo smells quite lovely and it foams up really well (although it does contain sodium laureth sulfate, a chemical foaming agent I generally try to stay away from). I always double-wash with shampoo and that worked really well – it didn't feel like it was stripping my hair. After using both the shampoo and the matching conditioner my hair felt super soft and silky, and it was far less frizzy and coarse than normal. I would definitely use this shampoo again as a cheaper, more accessible option. I love that TRESemmé are using recycled plastic in their bottles, and I really love the larger, 900ml sizes which saves plastic and will last for ages. Highly recommend for an affordable shampoo that does what it promises and performs well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shampoo ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the TRESemmé brand so I was really eager to try this. Delays in delivery (thanks to COVID) meant I had to wait a little but I tried it as soon as I got it. I have slightly dry lightened hair that gets very greasy quickly and I have a lot of post Partum regrowth at my hairline that currently stands up like I’ve been electrocuted. I always have to shampoo twice to get a good lather and get my hair truely clean, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well this shampoo lathered just with one. My post partum regrowth was sitting almost flat after only air drying, so it has really got some smoothing power !! I loved how silky and healthy my hair felt after pairing this shampoo with its matching conditioner and will be continuing to buy this myself ! I highly recommend this shampoo paired with its matching conditioner for anyone needing that smoothness or a good bit of moisture for their hair !

My hair felt smooth and softer after even the first wash. After shampooing and using the matching conditioner I was easily able to style my hair without as many "flyaways' as usual. And my hair stayed clean, seemed shinier than normal. I felt my hair was left lightweight which made it seem like it had more body than usual, I would happily change to the TRESemmé for our family's normal daily shampoo and conditioner. Pleased to see this is available in the supermarket for ease of purchase and I would recommend to family and friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shampoo for dry hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this shampoo the fragrance is really nice and the packaging is good. It cleaned my hair really well without stripping it. I often find that some shampoos are too stripping for my hair and leave it feeling dry and over cleaned but this shampoo did not. It lathered up well and after use my hair felt clean but not stripped or dry. It was also very gentle on my scalp and did not irritate it which is something i can struggle with as sometimes my scalp can be a bit sensitive. I really enjoy this shampoo and i will continue to use it as a part of my daily hair washing routine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thick fine frizzy hair. This shampoo & conditioner pair left my hair feeling amazing. Blow drying my hair after washing was super quick and I wasn't left with a frizzy mess. Tresemme smooth & silky defintely left my hair more manageable. I also used this on my 10 year old daughters hair and her hair has never felt so smooth and silky. Being able to get a Shampoo & Conditioner that gives you a salon quality feel at the supermarket is a Godsend. Loved this shampoo and is one that could be used on my whole family. I would happily use this shampoo & conditioner as our everyday Shampoo & Conditioner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Recommended for dry scalp and hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Tressemme products many a times before and husband is a fan and a regular user. I like most of them as they give good results for my hair and are very affordable as well. I tried TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil and I am pleased with the consistency in quality of Tressemme products. The shampoo has mild fragrance, slight thick in consistency. But it lathers really well and gave a very good cleanse to my scalp and hair. I usually shampoo twice and condition once most of times when I wash my hair and it was not overly drying. I used this with Tressemme smooth and silky conditiner.there was no difference in hairfall than before. It has a very mild fragrance after wash for a while which was pleasant and didn't bother me. Didnot use any serum afterwards as well and I was quite happy with it, only thing I would say is no difference in the look of my hair but feel was good and hair felt smooth.

I’ve used the TRESemme Shampoo and Conditioner duo for years on my bleached hair, and I have found it to match more expensive brands in the way it feels, smells and wears in my hair. The shampoo leaves my hair so squeaky clean, but not dried out, and a little bit goes a long way. The scent is very pleasant, but not overpowering, and the large sized bottles means the product lasts so long! The price is exceptional and It’s easily accessible at supermarkets, pharmacies and even Kmart/Target/Big W. I have had hairdressers in the past recommend I don’t use supermarket/drugstore brand products in my hair, but even with my hair consistently bleached, I have had zero issues with the chemicals in this particular product.

The big bottles are certainly very handy with multiple uses in each bottle for the price. And I really like the price- great value. The shampoo lathers up nicely and cleans my scalp well. It really helps my dry scalp too not being over drying however my scalp is still clean. I get very frizzy hair that is quite dry. However I also do suffer from a scalp that can get oily with limp hair- thin hair. This shampoo made my hair soft and smooth yet clean. It helped to eliminate the frizz I get which I loved. I also like how it let my hair remain frizz free for many days. The smell is really refreshing. I really liked this shampoo. Cleans my hair and eliminates the frizz while hydrating!

I usually spend a lot on shampoo and conditioner but for a very well priced product I am amazed at how great it is. It left my hair feeling amazing and looking even better. The consistency was good and I love that it is in a pump bottle - makes it so much easier to use. My hair was feeling so silky smooth and looked so much healthier. I have found my go to products now. I found that it definitely helped with my frizziness and my hair didn’t look as dry - the argan oil is great.

You get value for money with the size and the price point, and even better you can pick this range up from your local supermarket or pharmacy. I shampoo twice always as the first shampoo helps soften my strands and allows for the second wash to lather. Like the conditioner, the shampoo is enriched with silk proteins and argan oil that’s helped with nourishing my hair and overall making my hair feel and look healthy. I have noticed the range to help calm my frizzy locks. I do like the pump bottle as it makes it easier to keep across how much product you’re applying. Given the price point and accessibility, I highly recommend the range if you’re in the market to help soothe and reduce your frizzy hair, and the range smells great!!
