You get value for money with the size and the price point, and even better you can pick this range up from your local supermarket or pharmacy. I shampoo twice always as the first shampoo helps soften my strands and allows for the second wash to lather. Like the conditioner, the shampoo is enriched with silk proteins and argan oil that’s helped with nourishing my hair and overall making my hair feel and look healthy. I have noticed the range to help calm my frizzy locks. I do like the pump bottle as it makes it easier to keep across how much product you’re applying. Given the price point and accessibility, I highly recommend the range if you’re in the market to help soothe and reduce your frizzy hair, and the range smells great!!

It is healthy and luscious all while not breaking the bank. Winning. I was pleasantly surprised a supermarket shampoo could be so good. I will be buying this again. I love that it is a pump bottle too - makes it so much easier. The smell is nice and the texture is good, you don’t have to use too much product. I found that my hair felt better after the second time using it and brushing was much easier. I have definitely been won over by this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great supermarket option, best for straight hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try the new TreSemme shampoo, as I have quite naturally curly and frizzy hair, and am always after a shampoo that is going to be able to cleanse my hair but not strip it of all the natural oils that it really needs. I also like that this shampoo is paraben free, as this is something I really look for in my hair products. I found that this shampoo was great value for money, as I didn’t need to use a huge amount of product even though I have quite thick hair, and found the smell and texture of the shampoo to be pleasing and not too overwhelming. I also liked the smell of my hair following using the product. This shampoo made a great lather, however I did find it a bit stripping on my hair. This being said, I also used this on my 2 children, and their hair responded really well to it, and I found that their hair was certainly smooth and silky following use. I would use this again on my children, and would use this less frequently on my own hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the pump and the scent I love that this TRESemmé shampoo comes with a pump to dispense. I've used TRESemmé before and it had a press top lid which wasn't convenient. The smell of this shampoo is sensational. It's so sweet like lollies but doesn't linger in my hair. Once my hair is dry I can't smell it. I only need to use just 1 pump for it to lather my long thick hair really well so this 940ml bottle is going to last me for quite some time. Once I rinse my hair it doesn't feel dry, knotty or stripped at all. It actually feels quite soft which is fantastic. My hair is still frizzy afterwards but I just have naturally frizzy hair anyway. This shampoo does a good job at cleansing my hair and I find it to be great value for money. I would recommend this to anyone with dry, frizzy or damaged hair as I find it softens my hair and doesn't leave it knotty and stiff.

The shampoo has a lovely texture, it's nice and creamy but not too thick. The scent is very pleasant and subtle. It lathered well and I only needed one wash, whereas with a lot of other shampoos I need to wash twice. I gave my hair a really good scrub and it didn't tangle up too much. I like the pump pack too .. so much easier and cleaner to use that a little pop-top and you don't have to stand the shampoo upside-down. This bottle will last me for ages and I think it's excellent value for money. I can't say that I was left with no frizz or fly-away hairs at all, but overall my hair was probably smoother after washing than with most other shampoos that I've tried.

It's actually a very good shampoo and does a much better job than the Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo. It comes in a very large 940ml black plastic bottle which pumps out a pearly white liquid. It works up a good lather. It has a sweet fragrance (which is an added ingredient) but doesn't linger on my hair. This is a very good budget shampoo. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's made in Australia and has not been tested on animals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRESemme Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil is a surprisingly luxurious smoothing shampoo enriched with Moroccan argan oil. The shampoo helps to calm frizzy hair and helps with flyaways without weighing your down. It delivers lovely hydration and leaves your hair smooth and soft while helping to take unruly hair. I think that the TRESemme Smooth & Silky Shampoo with Silk Proteins is light and gentle enough for daily use while still delivering hydration, nourishment and frizz protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trying this shampoo, i was slightly concerned, as anything that helps smooth and reduce frizz usually puts lots of moisture into the hair as well. But I was pleasantly surprised. I found this shampoo to add enough moisture that my scalp didnt get super oily, and lasted until the next wash. The shampoo to lather really well, maybe slightly too well, as I found I was using more product because it didn't feel like I had enough on. The scent is nice and sweet floral smell, but it doesn't last much past drying your hair. It is also not overpowering. I found that it did help reduce some frizz and help keep my hair smoother (it detangled easier than normal).

I was sceptical as I don’t usually buy supermarket type hair products. So it’s was a chance to try before You buy. This Shampoo smelt lovely, was a nice consistency, and it cleaned my hair without making it feel so squeaky and as a result was gentle and did help smooth it. It lathers well and I love how big these bottles are with the pump. It makes it so easy for the whole family to use. After a couple or weeks I have seen my hair be smooth and lovely.

I was only able to use the product twice so far however I have liked it so far. I didn’t have particularly high expectations for this product, as it is a supermarket brand. It didn’t disappoint, so far as cleaning my hair well and leaving it feeling soft. I didn’t expect it to smooth my frizz and it didn’t. But it was nice to use and smelt nice. I generally buy supermarket brand hair products, so I may purchase this in the future.

I have dry hair and this shampoo along with the conditioner made my hair feel soft and smooth - like what it is called I like the pump as it did not get jammed and the fact it is a different colour to the conditioner was good so they did not get mixed up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I moved from Queensland to NSW, my hair have become very dry and frizzy and I am really tired of working out ways to tame them! I have tried a few other brands but changing frequently causes hair fall so I try not to do it very often. I was so glad when I was given the chance to try out Tresemme Smooth & Silky shampoo & conditioner through Beautyheaven. The Tresemme Smooth & Silky shampoo comes in the bulky 940ml bottle which is sure to last for a long time and of course the pump packaging is very convenient. The silky shampoo lathers beautifully and I also love the pleasant fragrance it has. I found that this shampoo makes my hair quite soft and silky. I think it tames my frizz for just the first day and my hair are frizzy again the next day. I don't wash my hair daily as it can be very drying. I have used it about 5 times and I enjoy it and will continue using it until I find something that tames my frizzy and unruly hair.

It feels like more of a premium product. I love the idea of a smooth and silky product as I have frizzy hair! This product dispensed quite easily out of the bottle and had a great smell. I found that it was very easy to get a nice lather and applied to my hair very well. It was easy to wash out and it went quite a long way. After using I thought it made my hair nice and soft but I am not sure it made alot of difference to the smoothness of my hair. I found that it controlled the oil quite well and the smell was nice after my hair dried.

TRESemme is a brand I am familiar with and have used their hair products but not for many years. I regularly shampoo and condition my hair but have no particular brands. I was excited to try this shampoo in my curly dry hair and was very pleased with the results The smell was very pleasant. The shampoo was a standard consistency and easy to apply. My hair felt cleaned and soft after application. I dont Know if my curls are more tamed but have only used for less than 2 weeks so this may be more obvious with longer use A lovely product I would be happy to purchase and recommend

At first I wasn’t very convinced that it would tame my frizz as it claimed as I have previous tried lots of shampoos that claim to tame frizz and have not really noticed any difference. But I was pleasantly surprised by this shampoo as it really did what it said it would and I feel that it has reduced about 80% of my frizz in the short time I have been using it. This shampoo is pleasantly scented but not overpowering and leaves my hair feeling light and clean. It is a great product and I will be continuing to use it.

Really easy to use with the pump lid, I apply a pump or two to my wet hair and gently massage my scalp and bring through my hair, it lathers really well and gives my scalp and hair a nice and gentle clean. The scent is sweet, the shampoo is a creamy in colour. After rinsing the shampoo out my hair still feels soft and moisturised. I then applied the Smooth and Silky conditioner. I would recommend this shampoo. A great budget find.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality budget shampoo for frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy when this shampoo arrived the first thing I noticed was the pump action lid on the big 940mL generous sized bottle, previously when I had purchased TRESemme the big bottles didn’t have this they had little press down flip lid this is a huge improvement given the sheer size of the bottles makes it much more user friendly. After wetting my hair I applied a couple of pumps of the shampoo to my hair, I need a few pumps and I have very thick, frizzy, shoulder length hair. The shampoo is pearly white in colour and smells delicious, just like sweet bubblegum. It lathers really well and cleans my hair and scalp well also. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or stripped after use which I love it feels nourished and conditioned, soft and smoother from the added Sunflower Seed Oil & Vitamin A. I then follow with the TRESemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner.

This is a shampoo to target frizzy hair and my hair fits the bill. It comes in a large 940ml plastic black pump bottle. The bottle is made from recycled plastic and the product has the PETA tick of approval. The shampoo is a pearly white and smells almost fruity, unfortunately this could be due to to the added fragrance and not any beneficial ingredient. It lathers well and leaves my hair feeling clean and doesn't dry out my scalp. My frizz is well controlled It did seem like there was more volume. I have only used it about four or five times as I only wash my hair twice a week. It's actually a very good budget shampoo and better than their Moisture Rich Shampoo. Its made in Australia.

I am impressed with this shampoo, it did make my hair less wild. I liked the black pump action bottle, although it did leak in shipping. I am confused as to why the size is 940 millilitres and not a flat one litre bottle? I really like that Tresemme have made their bottles using recycled plastic, can we have more of that please? I would prefer more of a scent, there is something in the bottle that I can smell, perhaps the vitamin A or sunflower oil? I like my hair to smell clean and with a fragrance.

This one wasn't significantly worse or better than others I've tried, but it is more of a budget / supermarket brand. I didn't see any significant reduction in frizz compared to my previous shampoo. I liked that it doesn't contain any parabens but I wish it were also sulphate free. I've found that my hair comes out softest when I use sulphate free shampoos. The fragrance is okay, a bit generic and soapy, but inoffensive. The texture is pretty good and it lathers well. The pump is great and dispenses the right amount. Less is more with this one, I used too much in my first wash and spent ages rinsing it out. Overall I'd say it's value for money if you want to try a new and affordable shampoo that's readily available. But I wouldn't buy it if you're looking specifically for something to help with frizz.

I have used Tresemme on and off over the years and I have always had long, frizzy hair. Firstly, I love the fragrance of the shampoo. It's definitely a strong floral scent (not everyone's cup of tea) but I enjoy the smell and it persisted even a day after washing. Pump bottle was great - dispensed the perfect amount and the huge bottle makes it very economical. The formula of the shampoo is gently foaming and it didn't leave my scalp or hair feeling stripped or dry. However, I didn't see any major effects with smoothing my hair or containing its frizzy nature. The foam rinsed out easily. I think the product is a budget friendly shampoo that does the job of cleaning hair, but I couldn't see any ongoing effects with smoothing. I have also seen the brand regularly go on sale and with the very generous size, it's definitely worth a try. I do not think it is comparable to salon brands, however it is a likeable, no frills product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Budget [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRESemme smooth and silky shampoo is a silky texture shampoo, it lathers moderately but I did find my hair didn't feel smooth after rinsing the shampoo. After I conditioned I I did find my hair felt soft and smooth. I have to say I did not notice much smoothing after use but I have only used for 2 washes so far. It is also rainy and my hair is very prone to frizz. I like the large size of the bottle and feel that it is quite cheap and a great for the cost. It is overall a good cheap shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually felt very fortunate to be part of the trial team for this product, especially after using it for the first time. Although I've been aware of the brand since forever, I've never tried an offering from the Tresemme range before now. I was never quite sure that the products would suit my curly hair needs; well, I was mistaken. I usually use products without SLS, unless I'm doing a clarifying wash every month or two, so this shampoo fits the bill. It's a very generous sized bottle(940mls), with a handy pump to distribute product, minimising any wastage, and the shampoo itself is a creamy, milky consistency, that distributes easily through the hair. I use a massaging brush to assist me when shampooing, and honestly, this shampoo has plenty of slip, so it all amalgamated like a dream. My hair was left feeling quite silky after rinsing, and pre conditioner, which was a lovely sensation. I would say the only downside for me was the fragrance. I found it a tad overwhelming, and normally prefer a fragrance that is more subtle. It's quite floral, so I could see this being very popular in the Spring/Summer. Having said that though, the product hasn't irritated my sensitive scalp, so that is a bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value awesome scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first reaction was hesitant as I’ve tried 'smoothing' shampoos but they have just weighed down my hair and made it frizzy and made it feel oily. This shampoo didn't do that. It smells amazing long lasting scent, that was my first impression when I opened the lid. It lathers easily and washes out without any hassle. I wouldn't say this was amazing at making my hair any smoother or silkier than any other shampoo, and it didn't protect my hair from humidity. Overall, this is a good family shampoo if you want something that's going to wash your hair well at a budget price, but don't expect perfectly silky smooth strands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells amazing but does not help the frizz [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product smells absolutely amazing but unfortunately in terms of managing the frizz, this product does not overly work. I have always struggled to find a product that helps with my frizz, so although this did not work for me, this product may be successful for others. My frizz may also be contributed to by how I dry my hair, etc. I believe by taking all the steps correctly to dry and style your hair, this product may be amazing, but unfortunately in my case, this did not work for me. I would suggest using a little bit more product than recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great supermarket shampoo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was a bit skeptical on trying this out as I don’t usually use supermarket brand shampoos and the size of the bottle scared me. But I did liked that the bottle was made from the recyclable material. Also it has silk proteins in it without any nasties that made me want to use it. At the back of the bottle it says that is safe for the colour treated hair which is a great plus. When I used it first I noticed that the consistency was great and it lathered well but I used a bit too much and afterwards my hair felt very dry and stripped. But I decided to give it another go, this time I used half the amount of what I would normally use and the result was amazing! My hair felt softer, silkier, less frizzy and still had the natural bounce. My scalp also felt cleaner and my hair didn’t got greasy after 2 days which is great. I really liked this shampoo.

My hair is quite long and in need of a cut. I have an oily scalp and so I usually shampoo twice and condition once. The shampoo is easy to spread and lathers up well so I found it very good for me with my long hair who needs to use quite a bit of shampoo. The shampoo has a lovely clean smell to it and even now a few days after washing my hair, it still smells lovely and feels nice and soft. I had hoped that it would be more smoothing as my flyaways have not improved. I would be keen to use this product after a haircut to see if that made a difference. I like the packaging and accessibility of this product however would prefer to see more sustainable packaging rather than plastic. I would keep using this product and would also recommend to others.
