Tresemme CONDITIONER SMOOTH & SILKY 940 ML

TRESemme's Smooth & Silky Conditioner is specially formulated for dry, frizz-prone hair, leaving it 2x smoother* and salon-soft. Enriched with sunflower seed oil and vitamin A, our conditioner tames unruly hair and delivers intense moisturisation where your hair needs it most. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable mainstream brand with superb results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tresemme has been around for a long time and their products have always been of a fair quality. However, with the improvements done on this formula, the results have been exceptional. I suffer from dry, frizzy hair and in colder months I tend to develop a flaky scalp that reacts to even my normal haircare products. Surprisingly, my hair and scalp loved this conditioner which did not weigh down my hair but managed to yield the smooth and silky results that it promises. Frizziness is now a thing of the past and no more tangling of the hair. I also noticed that my hair did grow a considerable amount in both thickness and length, and it can only be attributed to this shampoo and conditioner duo. The scent is lovely and lingers for a few days on the hair. The superior ingredients are nourishing for the hair and if I may say so this Shampoo & Conditioner is actually selling itself short of its results. I am also a full head conditioner girl and some products tend to matte the hair on the top of my head, but this product does not. The product is housed in a large pump bottle which is great for ease of use, no fumbling with wet hands to try and pry any lids open, with almost a litre superior product packed inside, all at an affordable price. Do yourself a favour and try this out, it outperforms my current salon shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tresemme is an established and reputable hair care brand for very good reasons. Their products are Australian made, salon quality, varied in ranges and at a great price point. They are also cruelty free and Peta approved. The Smooth and Silky Conditioner is designed specifically for dry, frizzy hair (like mine) and is like a tall glass of water on a hot day. It contains vitamin A, strengthening silk proteins as well as sunflower seed oil and argan oil to really moisturise as needed. There are no alcohol, parabens or dyes. This comes in a pump action bottle which is great, it feels instantly soft on application and you don’t need to go overboard with the amount (good value for money). After leaving it for a few minutes you wash it off and after your hair is dry you will notice how much smoother and softer your hair is!

I normally have dry, frizzy hair and this is definitely the products for me. My hair feel so much softer and less frizzy after using it. I love the sleek packaging and that it is available in such a big sized bottle. There is a slight scent to it which I find really refreshing. I definitely would recommend this range to anyone who has hair on the drier side and struggles with managing their frizz.

This conditioner pump was easy to open, once working, it pumps and dispenses really well, fast and ample product. The conditioner didn't really have much of a scent, if anything I thought I smelt cucumber. Once applied the conditioner instantly soaked into my hair, my hair loved the product, soaking up more and more as I kept applying. I combed through and waited as recommended. Upon rinsing, hair was left feeling well hydrated and nourished. I didn't feel soft and smooth from the shampoo alone but when using with the matching conditioner, once hair was dried, was ABSOLUTELY, smooth, tame and extremely silky. So silky and soft that it was a dream to style. Something I don't get very often with my hair. Highly recommended this shampoo / conditioner combo xx

I have used Tresemme products before, but in reality that was almost a decade ago, and it has been amazing to fall in love all over again with this superb product. It's even better when the whole family fall in love with it too, because it means we're onto a winner that we will continue to purchase again and again. Sporting in a massive 940ml pump style bottle is a luscious conditioner that goes a long way and for once we used the conditioner at the same rate as shampoo. How does that even happen!? It happens when the product is great and smooths through my hair which is naturally curly every time I use it. I found just a couple of pumps was enough for my medium length hair. My hair just soaked up this conditioner and the moment it was smoothed through I could feel the silkiness in my hair. I massaged it through and used a wide toothed comb to disperse it further and to detangle my hair. It was pleasant with the lovely lightly scented conditioner. It took very little effort and time to do and I am loving how my hair feels after every wash and condition with this product. My hair has dramatically smoothed out, the frizz has been controlled, my hair hydration has been maintained and it feels bouncy like those ads we used to see when we were younger. My hair is easily styled after conditioning, and the results last for days which I am truly loving. I look forward to using this product further with my family and from a price point we can't go wrong. Tresemme has hit the ball out of the park with this one.

I found it very pleasant to use. After I blow-dried my hair I found my hair to be soft and smooth but I did also notice my hair frizzing a lot once leaving the house. I have only used it for 2 weeks and my hair is very prone to frizz, especially in the winter rainy weather. I like the large size of the bottle and feel that it is quite cheap and great for the cost. It is overall a good cheap shampoo.

It smells devine and keeps your hair very hydrated and moisturised while at the same time detangling your hair and keeping it silky smooth and shiny. The bottles size is quite generous and great value for money, a little goes a long way speaking as someone with quiet thick hair. It works well for the whole family. It’s affordable and a good alternative if you are unable to get more expensive products from a salon. I'd definitely recommend and will be using in the future.

Honestly, I was not hopeful that this conditioner would tame my dry frizzy bleached blonde hair but I was wrong. The pump bottle was easy to use and saved me from fumbling around trying to squeeze product out of a tube. I was off to a good start. I didn’t want to weigh down my roots so I focused on applying the conditioner to the mid section and dry ends. I left it on for a minute and during this time combed the conditioner through the ends of my hair and was surprised at how it glided so easily through the strands of hair. As I washed the conditioner out I could tell this product was of a high quality as it already felt silky and smooth. As I blow dried my hair I could see and feel the results. My hair was smooth and manageable. Throughout the day I noticed I kept touching my hair as it was so smooth and the positive comments on how good my hair looked by my colleagues confirmed this. I will be using this as my conditioner from now on.

This Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil is such a great conditioner, I was really surprised at how soft and shiny it made my hair, like really really soft! Just like the shampoo, this conditioner also has a nice scent and it also left my hair smelling lovely as well. It’s also a pump bottle just like the shampoo, and both bottles are quite big and generous. Like the name suggests it has Argan Oil and Silk Proteins, I think that’s the reason why I had no frizz at all which is amazing because it’s so humid in Queensland where I live. Oversell great conditioner especially if you’re on a budget and want salon quality, you can’t go wrong with this one! I loved it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Impressive [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins and Argan Oil to trial. My hair is long with a 2b wave (2c when its shorter and less heavy), as a result, I often find my mid lengths and ends are frizzy, but the roots can be oily. I typically will use a shampoo, conditioner, a leave in conditioner treatment and additional conditioning products through the week. My hair needs styling for going to the office or social events, the curl pattern isnt enough to look finessed. The first thing i noticed upon receiving the shampoo and conditioner set was the smell. Its a lovely scented shampoo and i actually really noticed the smell lingering. I personally love scented products and am not sensitive to them, so this was right up my alley. The second thing to mention is the generous packaging size. Tresemme lasts me a long time. I do not wash my hair every day, i try to go three days (and may push it to 4 if i have no plans across a weekend). The 940ml pack lasts me months. So whilst the price is a little higher, the value of that bigger size definitely makes it worthwhile. I was incredibly impressed about how this shampoo and conditioner suited my hair. My hair is soft, and actually frizz free! I dont feel the need to use any leave in conditioning post using this combo. I will still use a straightening or antifrizz serum (particulaly on day 2 or 3), but i definitely saw a massive improvement to the texture of my hair, from the first wash. I particularly want to commend the conditioner. My hair was straighter, frizz free, soft, beautifully scented, and I actually felt happy leaving the house without straightening or scrunching my hair, or without a messy bun. If I was to look for a negative, i would say this is potentially a little heavy for fine or thin hair. My hair isnt super thick, but with the length, it was fine. I do think that if my hair was shorter I might find it too limp or weighed down from the product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great conditioner at a very affordable price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit, I am a bit of a haircare snob and usually use Kerastase shampoo and conditioner. However, given that the price of everything is going up I was really keen to try such an affordable product - $7 for one litre! Thanks to BH for offering me the shampoo and condition as part of the trial team! I have fluffy, frizzy and wavy hair so have been searching for products to smooth and contain my tresses ALL MY LIFE. Tresemme's smooth and silky conditioner has a nice apple-y scent and thick consistency, which you know will result in good hydration. I also really liked the pump nozzle which made it so easy to put the product on y hand after shampooing (I used after the smooth and silky shampoo). The combination of the shampoo and conditioner made my hair shiny and soft. I blow dried and straightened my wild locks as usual and the results were good! My hair did feel a bit bouncier than usual (but some people will like this!) but stayed smooth and shiny with the addition of some kerastase oil on top.

It’s moisturising, smoothing and silky but not gluggy and heavy on the hair. It is fantastic at helping smooth frizz and provide moisture, but I love most that it leaves the hair lightweight and not oily in the process! Excellent product and highly recommend. Especially when used in conjunction with its matching shampoo. Together they are an excellent pair and feel like a salon quality product. I love the pump bottle too and the size.

Smells divine, thicker consistency & actually does what it says on the bottle! It’s very good for unruly & curly hair like I have. It’s also quite moisturising but never made my hair feel greasy or oily! I will definitely repurchase as I love this grocery brand conditioner, like a salon conditioner but half the price! Love the bottle too & it’s a great idea for such a big bottle as the entire family can use it! Love it !!

I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends, it’s affordable but still feels luxe. I wash my hair twice a week with this and no build up or residue. I love how smooth my hair is and find it much easier to style after using the Tresemme products. You have all got to try it out yourself. My hair is soft like butter and fragrance lasts all day. Together with the matching shampoo it definitely made my thick, frizzy, coarse hair feel noticably sleeker and smoother. The conditioner had a nice smell (kind of like a salon shampoo smell) and it was nice and thick so it coated my hair well. I've used a few expensive conditioners recently that have been thin and watery and this is the opposite – a little goes a long way! I would definitely use this conditioner again as a cheaper, more accessible option. I love that TRESemmé are using recycled plastic in their bottles, and I really love the larger, 900ml sizes which saves plastic and will last for ages. Highly recommend for an affordable conditioner that gives you a salon feel.

My hair felt smooth and softer after even the first wash. After shampooing and using the matching conditioner I was easily able to style my hair without as many "flyaways' as usual. And my hair stayed clean, seemed shinier than normal. I felt my hair was left lightweight which made it seem like it had more body than usual, I would happily change to the TRESemmé for our family's normal daily shampoo and conditioner. Pleased to see this is available in the supermarket for ease of purchase and I would recommend to family and friends.

It made my hair feel really smooth and silky without looking or feeling oily. Which is something that I often struggle with as certain conditioners make my hair feel and look oily even after it’s just been washed but this one did not do that. I really like it. It also helped to take my hair’s frizziness a little bit which is something that I struggle with a lot. It added a lot of moisture to my hair without weighing it down and help to control my flyaways. I found it to be okay for everyday use and i would recommend it if you struggle with dry and frizzy hair and are looking for a conditioner to add some shine back into your hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good affordable Conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tressemme is a very familiar brand to us and I have used a few products from their different range of hair care products and family members are regularly using their products and were very excited to try this one as well. The brand has lived up to my expectations and this is really good product. I tried TRESemmé smooth and silky conditioner and shampoo and will be recommending this to any one with dry scalp and hair. It has nourishing and moisturising argan oil. It also has silk protiens which I am not sure how exactly they work for hair but I was happy with the outcome after using this product. I shampooed twice and the left in conditioner for 3-4 minutes and rinsed well and didn't use any serum or any other hair products and the results were good. Smooth, soft hair, minimal flyaways, it though didnt do much for the appearance of my hair but hair felt smooth and they were manageable.

Blow drying my hair after washing was super quick and I wasn't left with a frizzy mess. Tresemme smooth & silky defintely left my hair more manageable. I also used this on my 10 year old daughters hair and her hair has never felt so smooth and silky. Being able to get a Shampoo & Conditioner that gives you a salon quality feel at the supermarket is a Godsend. Loved this shampoo and is one that could be used on my whole family. I would happily use this shampoo & conditioner as our everyday Shampoo & Conditioner!

When I applied this in the shower, the consistency was great. Not too thick and not too runny. It was easy to comb through as well in the shower. When my hair dried it felt incredibly soft and not knotty like my hair usually is as it is bleached blonde. I will continue to use this product, paired with the shampoo I am very impressed with the results. TRESemme is not a typical high end brand but it is very affordable and provides high end results in my opinion.

I have curly hair that gets very frizzy, so I thought I would give this one a shot to try and fix it. It makes my hair feel very soft and flurry, but I wouldn't say silky. The bottle is very nice, having a good amount of product and a nice pump, but I feel like I am needing more product than normal with this exact one. Overall, this is a really quality product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with frizzy hair.

I’ve used the TRESemme Shampoo and Conditioner duo for years on my bleached hair, and I have found it to match more expensive brands in the way it feels, smells and wears in my hair. This Conditioner leaves my hair so silky and soft, and for someone with blonde hair - it’s hard to find something to help bring back the shine. Not to mention, a little bit goes a long way. The scent is very pleasant, but not overpowering, and the large sized bottles means the product lasts so long! The price is exceptional and It’s easily accessible at supermarkets, pharmacies and even Kmart/Target/Big W. I have had hairdressers in the past recommend I don’t use supermarket/drugstore brand products in my hair, but even with my hair consistently bleached, I have had zero issues with the chemicals in this particular product.

I usually spend a lot on shampoo and conditioner but for a very well priced product I am amazed at how great it is. It left my hair feeling amazing and looking even better. The consistency was good and I love that it is in a pump bottle - makes it so much easier to use. My hair was feeling so silky smooth and looked so much healthier. I have found my go to products now. This conditioner smells good and left my hair looking and feeling silky smooth. Even better that it is made in Australia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smells great and softens my hair I can be quite fussy with conditioners and quite often they aren't hydrating enough for my hair but I like this one. It does the job. It's thick and smells sensational. It's really sweet but once rinsed it doesn't linger at all. I try and leave this conditioner in my hair for 3 or 4 minutes then I rinse. My hair is left feeling soft and smooth. Not frizz free but I have naturally frizzy hair anyway. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all and I just find it to moisturise my hair nicely. I'd be happy to buy this once I've finished this bottle which will last me quite a while because it's a 940ml bottle.

I don't like to use products that are too heavy as they leave my hair quite flat. This conditioner is light but effective. I didn't need to use too much and it was easy to comb through and to rinse out. The scent is lovely and subtle. I love the pump pack and the fact that there are no parabens or alcohol in the product. My hair was not completely frizz-free after using the product, but was definitely smoother than usual. Overall I think this is a good affordable product for those of us with frizzy hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good budget conditioner I've been using the Tresemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner on my short, frizzy, curly, dry hair. It comes in a large 940ml plastic white bottle with a pump top dispenser. I love bulk sized products, (unless its a product I hate), because its so much better value for money. The down side to this is that it's too big to fit in my shower caddy and has to sit on the shower floor. Other than that, I'm really happy with this conditioner. It's a white sweet smelling lotion which spreads easily, I can easily get all the knots out with my comb, and once dry leaves my hair feeling silky. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all. Pretty happy with this supermarket budget conditioner. It is made in Australia and not tested on animals.
