Tresemme CONDITIONER SMOOTH & SILKY 940 ML

Enriched with sunflower seed oil and vitamin A, our conditioner tames unruly hair and delivers intense moisturisation where your hair needs it most. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydration booster [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a nice conditioner to use. I have below shoulders length hair and found I only needed to use a few pumps, so a little goes a long way. The conditioner was slightly runnier than I would have liked (but having thick hair I like using thicker conditioners), but it was still a nice consistency to use - it didn't slip off your hand instantly it you turned it. The scent is the same as the shampoo, a nice sweet floral scent, that doesn't last past drying your hair. I feel using both the shampoo and conditioner combo really helped to keep my hair smoother and easier to detangle. I found this to be because the conditioner was hydrating, not over the top where your hair feels 'squeaky' while still wet, but enough it felt coated and protected, until your next wash. I found i didnt need to use as much leave in conditioner after drying, as i normally would. As i only put conditioner on lengths and ends, i didnt overly notice if there was any less frizz.

Some people may find it over scented but I enjoyed that. It feels very rich and nourishing. My hair felt very smooth and hydrated after using this. It also didn’t weigh my hair down like other products I have previously used. I also found that it worked well with it’s matching shampoo. Overall very happy with this conditioner as it is a high quality product available in a big size at a very affordable price point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great supermarket option [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have quite naturally curly and frizzy hair, so am always on the hunt for a new conditioner that is going to leave my hair feeling silky and smooth, but still allowing for my natural curl to be supported. I really liked the smell and texture of this conditioner, and found that it worked through my hair quite easily, and I was able to get the knots out quite easily. Unfortunately I found that my hair, while it felt quite silky, still ended up with a good amount of frizz and my curls fell out more than normal. I did like the argan oil in this, but potentially think that the protein was an issue for my hair in particular. I did however also use this conditioner on both of my children, whom have long thick and straight hair, and found that it worked wonderfully for them, with luscious and silky hair that lasted for a number of days. I would recommend this conditioner for people with naturally straight hair, but still an option for fellow curlies in a pinch!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect conditioner for everyday [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though it’s cheap, my hair feels luxurious after using it (I use the combination of TRESemme Smooth & Silky Shampoo and conditioner). My hair is long, thick and frizzy (especially in a humid rainy days). I tried it for few times already and overall I am happy with it. I just feel like I need something richer once a week, like a hair mask, because I have dry hair ends and they tend to split. After using the conditioner my hair felt much smoother and easier to style. My hair smelled amazingly for 2 days (which is unusual for me and only happens after visiting a saloon) after using shampoo + conditioner. I didn’t expect it to be that good for this price, honestly :) So, I am going to keep using it. Will buy a mask though, in addition to it

I’m not usually a person who would buy my conditioner from the supermarket but this was a great opportunity to try and see if it would work as well as salon product. This is not too thick in consistency, smells lovely, coats my hair like a dream and rinses out nicely. I used this with its matching shampoo too. When drying my hair it did feel smoother and silkier without it being weighed down like some conditioners can do. My hair just felt wonderful and silky. I love how big the bottles are with the pump so that the whole family can easily use it too.

Like the shampoo it had a great scent to it that was nice and subtle so it does not clash with perfume I do like how the bottle is white so it contrasts to the conditioner. The green on the bottle is nice as well- a change to other products The conditioner is smooth and feels great in my hair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair have become very dry and frizzy ever since we moved from Queensland to NSW and I am really tired of finding ways to tame them! I have tried a few other brands but changing frequently causes hair fall so I try not to do it very often. I was so glad when I was given the chance to try out Tresemme Smooth & Silky shampoo & conditioner through Beautyheaven. The Tresemme Smooth & Silky conditioner comes in the big 940ml bottle just like the shampoo and has the convenient pump packaging. I like the inclusion of Argan oil in this conditioner. However, I think it provided the same level of conditioning as my previous conditioner. In conjunction with the shampoo, it made my hair soft and smooth, tamed my frizz only for the first day....but nothing more. I would prefer more long-lasting results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The applicator cap was a challenge to use at first, in comparison to the accompanying shampoo. After a couple of uses, the applicator cap worked again. When the applicator cap pumps out the right amount of conditioner, it puts your mind at ease in ensuring that you are adequately (and hence not over-conditioning) your hair. This is why I subtracted a star from this review, of what is otherwise a fantastic, stellar product that also represents better than expected value for money. This conditioner compliments the accompanying shampoo. I sometimes use 1.5 pumps, and other times just 1 pump. It is wise to massage at the roots, and at the ends mainly. Needless to say, this product delivers. I do not know why, yet it reminds me of Schwarzkopf. Maybe with the packaging, large size, and the feel. My hair is silky smooth again, and all over. And my hair is quite long. Long for someone in their early 40's, almost to my elbow. The frizz has certainly calmed down, and the ends have some bounce. Must use with the accompanying shampoo. All is well, this product will last you a while either way.

The size of this conditioner is excellent value for money. Having said that, the size can make it a bit awkward to store in the shower. We found it didn't fit in our shower caddy so we had to keep it on the floor. The consistency and smell were lovely and the pump bottle was really convenient to use, dispensing just the right amount of product each time. I really enjoyed using this conditioner. It left my dry, frizz prone hair soft, more manageable and less frizzy without weighing my hair down. A little bit of product went a long way so this bottle will last a really long time. Unfortunately the matching shampoo gave me an itchy scalp after a few uses so I had to discontinue using it. But I will continue using this conditioner to help tame by dry, frizzy hair and make it more manageable. This is a great product for people wanting smooth silky hair at a good price.

It feels like more of a premium product. I love the idea of a smooth and silky product as I have frizzy hair! This product dispensed quite easily out of the bottle and had a great smell. I found that it was very easy to get a nice lather and applied to my hair very well. It was easy to wash out and it went quite a long way. I could detangle my hair quite easily which was good. After using I thought it made my hair nice and soft but I am not sure it made alot of difference to the smoothness of my hair. I found that it controlled the oil quite well and the smell was nice after my hair dried.

I have tried TRESemme hair products before but my current hair care Regime varies between many brands so was excited to try TRESemme again. The conditioner was a nice consistency that was easy to apply. My curly dry hair soaked it up My hair felt soft and clean after use but no obvious improvement in curls or frizz. This may change after using for more use as only been using for less than 2 weeks. The smell was divine and I enjoyed it alot. The quality seemed good and woukd be very happy to purchase in the future and include in my regular hair care routine

I wasn’t expecting much from this product before I tried it because I have previously tried a lot of different hair products that claim to tame frizz and I have always been left feeling disappointed as I have not noticed any difference in my hair but I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I have been using this conditioner with the matching shampoo for just under two weeks and have really noticed a difference in my hair. My hair is about 80% less frizzy after using this product and feels and looks so much better than before. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering and this conditioner leaves my hair feeling light clean and free from tangles. I am very happy with the performance of both the shampoo and conditioner and will be continuing to use this product to tame my frizzy hair.

After Shampooing my hair I applied a generous couple of pumps of the Conditioner through my hair and ran through it after with my fingers to distribute evenly. The conditioner is a thicker consistency, white in colour and also has a sweet scent like the shampoo. I left it in my hair for a couple of minutes and then rinsed it out with water, My hair felt silky smooth and soft once the conditioner was rinsed out and I was able to easily run my comb through my hair. I found my hair was more manageable, soft and less frizzy. I would definitely recommend this lovely conditioner. A great budget find.

The conditioner is to help with frizz control and my short curly hair is certainly that. The white plastic bottle is a large 940ml size and is made from recycled plastic. It's also been given the Peta bunny symbol, meaning its not tested on animals. It does not mean its Vegan suitable. I like that the colour of the shampoo bottle is completely different from the colour of the conditioner bottle. The conditioner is white and smells sweet (like medicine) but, a little different from the shampoo, fragrance is listed last. I find the fragrance doesn't linger in my hair and that's fine. I like to comb through my hair before rinsing the conditioner out as it helps get all the knots out and the TRESemmé conditioner does a really good job of it. My hair isn't as frizzy and doesn't feel as dry. I have only used it about four or five times as I only wash my hair twice a week. I'm actually impressed with this conditioner. It does a much better job that the TRESemmé Moisture Rich Conditioner. I would definitely recommend this conditioner as its very budget friendly and can be easily added to the weekly grocery shop. It has the added bonus of being made right here, in Australia.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality budget conditioner for frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After shampooing my hair with the TRESemme Smooth and Silky Shampoo I generously applied around the size of a 50 cent piece coin of the TRESemme Smooth and Silky Conditioner through my hair. The condition also comes in a generous 940mL bottle with pump lid, white in colour and beautiful medium to thick consistency, it feels so soft and buttery on my fingertips and melts in beautifully to my hair. This conditioner also has the same sweet & beautiful bubblegum scent. I left it on for a good 3-5 mins while I washed my face and body I then rinsed it out of my hair then continued to towel dry and style. I found the styling to be easy after using this range as my hair feels less frizzy then before I used it. My hair feels nourished and conditioned, soft and smoother from the added Sunflower Seed Oil & Vitamin A. I would definitely recommend this budget range to those with thicker and frizzy hair like me to have a duo of shampoo and conditioner that still delivers on results.

The coditoner feels light and has a soft scent It’s not irks elk to provide noticeable hydration and I have definitely reduced appearance of frizz I am going to continue to use for a while!

It does the job. It's thick and smells sensational. It's really sweet but once rinsed it doesn't linger at all. I try and leave this conditioner in my hair for 3 or 4 minutes then I rinse. My hair is left feeling soft and smooth. Not frizz free but I have naturally frizzy hair anyway. It doesn't weigh my hair down at all and I just find it to moisturise my hair nicely. I'd be happy to buy this once I've finished this bottle which will last me quite a while because it's a 940ml bottle.

I liked the consistency of this conditioner a little did go a long way which is great as I have long hair and didn’t feel like I needed a fist full to coat the lengths. I usually comb through and let sit for a couple minutes. My hair really does feel lovely and smooth after using and actually lasted for 3-4 days after without my hair ending up feeling dry by the time I need to wash again which is what usually happens! I love the fact that tresemme products come in such large bottles, it’s going to last me quite a long time before I need to purchase again. Overall I’m really impressed with this conditioner plus the added benefit of no parabens or alcohol added!

Lucky me I have thick, wavy hair that will frizz. I find it is getting more frizzy as I age. I liked the big 940 millilitres pump action bottle. I could dispense conditioner with one hand and rub the conditioner into my hair with my other hand. Thanks Tresemme for making the conditioner and shampoo different coloured bottles. It saves my looking at the labels when I am in a rush. I am a Mum so I do not have time to spend ages in the shower.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reduced frizz considerably [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have frizzy wavy hair so I was more than happy to trial the smooth and silky shampoo and conditioner from Tresemme. I liked the packaging and was happy to find out it is made of recycled plastic. It is'nt a thick conditioner but not too runny either, it feels lightweight when it's on my freshly washed hair. It left my hair smoother but this is not surprising as it contains dimethicone as one of the ingredients. The natural ingredients it contains are vitamin E and sunflower oil which are nice additions. My hair felt nice and soft after using this, and much shinier than it looked when using my regular conditioner. I would have liked longer to trial this, but I did enjoy using it more than the matching shampoo. It reduced my frizz a lot, much more than my regular conditioner that is silicone-free. How this performs after more usage will help me decide whether to repurchase, so far my hair has'nt felt weighed down or coated. It's good value for money in a bulk pack that I have seen on special already. If you are not too fussy about the ingredients in your conditioner and need to tame your frizz then this will suit you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent conditioner at this price point [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thick, and frizzy hair so I tried this conditioner paired with the matching shampoo hoping that it would make my hair more manageable and less dry. The pump action on the bottle is perfect for the shampoo and dispenses the right amount but for the conditioner I felt like I needed to use way more, double the amount (two pumps). This means I'll end up going through the conditioner way sooner. It felt okay on my hair and smelled generic - nothing special. I left it on a bit longer than the recommended duration on the bottle, I always do that. I didn't see any significant reduction in frizz after finishing and drying. I tried air drying and hair dryer but the outcome was the same. Overall I'd say this is a decent option for a budget supermarket brand but I would not choose this specifically to reduce frizz as it says on the bottle because it did not do that for my hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tresemme Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil is a great product for frizzy, dry coarse hair. This conditioner made my hair feel less frizzy, smoother and more manageable. I applied the conditioner after the Tresemme smooth and silky shampoo and left for few minutes. Later rinsed, dried and styled as per my normal routine. I love the generous size of the bottle and different colour from the same type shampoo for easy differentiation. Good salon quality product at a supermarket price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Supermarket Conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TRESemme smooth and silky conditioner smells lovely, it lathers really well, smoothes and detangles my hair during the two minutes you massage it in and comb it through. I found it very pleasant to use. After I blow dried my hair I found my hair to be soft and smooth but I did also notice my hair frizzing a lot once leaving the house. I have only used it for 2 weeks and my hair is very prone to frizz especially in the winter rainy weather. I like the large size of the bottle and feel that it is quite cheap and a great for the cost. It is overall a good cheap shampoo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Affordable Luxe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm extremely grateful to have been chosen as part of this trial team, BH, especially after trialling the product. This is quite the hidden gem and delivers on its promise for silkier strands, minus the frizz factor. I'd heard of Tresemme, but had never tried any of the offerings, believing that they wouldn't satisfy my curly hair needs; I was wrong. This conditioner, housed in a very generously sized 940ml bottle, is packed full of hair loving ingredients, including sunflower seed oil (Vit E) and Vitamin A, both known to soften the strands, and leave them frizz free. The conditioner is a lovely, almost mask like consistency, but spreads through the strands easily, coating the hair with moisture and smoothness. It is an exceptional de tangler, my shower comb gliding through without any trouble at all (did I say I have extremely curly hair!), and rinsing away easily. I could feel plenty of slip left on my hair after rinsing, so thought I may be able to get away with no leave in's afterwards (not so, but curly hair, you know). I have been able to use less leave in products after using this shampoo and conditioner duo, though. Bonus. The only problem I have, and the same deal with the shampoo, is the intense level of fragrance. If they dialled it down a little, this one would receive my five stars! It didn't irritate my scalp, though. Winner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great conditioner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like other supermarket brands I was skeptical in trying this conditioner but used it after using the shampoo from the same brand and like the shampoo I was surprised after using it. The bottle itself is made from recyclable material and its great for the dry and frizzy hair. The consistency is perfect and have a very fresh fruity scent. I also liked that it spread easily unlike some other conditioners I have used. I felt my hair felt really soft and silky afterwards without being weighed down and no flyaways or friziness. Overall its a great product to use with other products in the range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great conditioner and I will keep using! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range. Unfortunately with long unmanageable hair in need of a cut, I find it difficult to find hair care that improves my hair's current status. This conditioner has helped tremendously and I find it nice and soft now a few days after washing my hair. My flyaways did not improve with the silk proteins and argan oil which was a shame however did not turn me off from using this product. I had just hoped that my hair might be smoother than it was however it definitely wasn't dry and frizzy. I like that it is accessible from the supermarket so therefore there is some bang for your buck. I wish that it was more sustainable packaging for the environment but hopefully this improves in the future. I will keep using this product and will definitely recommend to others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good For Fine Hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil following the Shampoo from the set. The conditioner has a light weight consistency rather than a thicker “butter”. This suits my fine hair. The conditioner was easy to apply spread around well to coat the hair. The option of a pump would work nicely for this larger container. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a pleasant “green apple” scent which is fresh and modern (no-one wants to smell like Nanna’s favourite floral toilet spray perfume!). The clean fragrance was not overpowering, and did not linger in my hair after drying. My hair is fine and thin, short to bob length, not coloured, and my scalp and ends tend to be dry. The conditioner rinsed well in warm or cold water. After drying and styling I was left with clean, nicely conditioned hair. This product serves me well to achieve clean, balanced hair with a nice bounce. My hair was silky but not overly limp and soft which is the enemy of volume for fine hair. Dried my hair as usual and no fluffy fly aways. Just clean, smooth, manageable hair. This represents excellent value for money and with the TRESemmé brand name you are definitely getting a high quality product to rival the “designer” brands that charge exorbitant prices. TRESemmé Smooth & Silky Shampoo + Conditioner with Silk Proteins & Argan Oil are equal to any luxury brand purchases I have indulged in in the past. Plus, the value for money packaging means you are consuming less plastic which must be beneficial to the environment. Having used several times since, my initial impression review stands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An affordable option for hydration! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this conditioner after using the shampoo from the same range. I was pleasantly surprised with this conditioner. I usually have to use a lot of conditioner on my hair as I have quite long hair, and it is ridiculously thick. I found I didn’t need to use nearly as much as I normally would. I found that this conditioner spread quite well on my hair and seemed to coat the hair really well. Often after rinsing out my conditioner, my hair feels coarse and almost grippy(?), I can’t think of a better word, but after rinsing this conditioner out it didn’t feel the same way. It genuinely felt quite hydrated. After drying my hair, I noticed it wasn’t quite as frizzy as it usually is either, and I didn’t find my scalp was oilier as a result. It also smells unreal - the smell lasted for days in my hair. I am quite impressed with this conditioner, and the shampoo collectively. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to some other options.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lives up to its name! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time user of TRESemmé and I am impressed!! Usually I would not purchase a supermarket shampoo or conditioner as I find them to be of poor quality but this one has surprised me. The conditioner was of a good consistency and didn't leave my hair feeling slimy or like I had put too much product in like some can as I have thin, fine hair. My hair when dry was bouncy, soft and felt hydrated. Smells great just like the shampoo. I also like that TRESemmé are doing their part with recycling the bottles and reusing them to make new bottles. I would recommend this conditioner as being affordable and of salon quality
