Directions

As if winter isn't harsh enough on my skin then along came Covid, with constantly sanitising and washing my hands, nails and cuticles have taken a beating. My hands weren't just dry they were also starting to sting from all of the alcohol. This Intensive Skin Repair is fragrance-free and ideal for dry, sore hands and rough cuticles. Surprisingly this heavy-duty hand cream isn't sticky. Confession time: I applied this cream all the time! I probably didn't need to but it just made them look and feel so much better.... I couldn't stop using it! They instantly looked better and after a few applications the skin had settled down and stopped hurting. They are now beautifully nourished and the moisture balance has been restored.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelle240 from Intense hand care While I do love hand creams and adore the heavenly fragrances of a wide array of them and am guilty of having a drawer full of them, there is none as effective in protecting and moisturizing as this one. It lives up to its "Tough hands" name and it really gets to work and deeply hydrates and mositurizes. I usually apply it just before bed time and it keeps my hands looking so well moisturised and my nails looks shiny, strong and healthy. It is a nice solid generous sized tube and the thick white cream absorbs in pretty well and you dont need too much of the cream at one time so a tube lasts quite a while. It does not have any fragrance so it is very often used by my husband as well, especially after gardening! During the drier winter months and with the too frequent hand washing (thanks Covid!) this hand cream really works wonders to transform dry hands to perfection.

I work in a medical practice so I am sanitising the waiting room, all door handles and all work areas after every patient. It is not only exhausting, but has a huge effect on my hands. I choose not to wear gloves as I would probably go through a box a day if I did, so my hands bear the brunt of all the cleaning products that I have to use. I was delighted to receive the Du'it Tough Hands 150g fragrance free Intensive Skin repair as I had run out of my last tube. I had been using this product most days since the pandemic started but I decided to try some other hand creams I had in my stash. There was a marked difference in how my hands felt after using these other creams. My nails broke more often and my hands became really sore and irritated. Thank goodness my Best in Beauty box arrived with this fabulous product in it. Because of the cracks in my hand I find a lot of hand creams are very painful to apply and can often leave my hands feeling painful and burning. I love this one though because it's fragrance free and perfect for more sensitive hands. It comes in an easy to use tube that is perfect for having on my bedside table or even on my desk. I would say the packaging is definitely trying to appeal to a more masculine demographic which I think is great because men need a product like this that they feel is targeting their needs. The formula rubs in easily to my skin and you don't need very much to get full hand coverage. It doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy or sticky but they do instantly start to feel soothed. After just a couple of applications my hands definitely show an improvement in my skin. Their is just a mild skincare scent to it but nothing that should upset sensitive noses. Overall this is an amazing hand cream for anyone with hands in a really bad state. It should help them heal in no time with no nasty fragrances.

They are dry and cracked and a bit sore. When I applied Tough Hands Intensive Skin repair my hands felt instantly better. It is a fragrance free formula and just melts into your skin for immediate relief. The magic ingredients include lactic acid and urea which is a super moisturising ingredient. It also contains antimicrobial properties Lemon Myrtle and Tea Tree Oil which is great for healthy hands! It comes in a very generous 150g tube and will last me a decent amount of time. I was initially applying it multiple times a day but I now just apply it before bed and let it work it’s magic overnight to properly absorb. Du'It Tough Hands Intensive Skin Repair is for dry, cracked and irritated hands comes with a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. With winter it often brings the gift of itchy red and sore skin and my hands cop the full brunt of the force. I suffer from a specific type of eczema that predominantly effects my fingers, my palms and the soles of my feet. It makes them super itchy, red and extremely sore. To the point where during the night I scratch so much I can make them bleed. It's awful. Every winter the skin on my hands are dry and starts chapping and if not taken care of properly the skin also starts peeling. But this cream. just a little is enough to give the skin the hydration it needs to see the winter through. Given the pandemic and how many times I wash my hands, this cream has been a lifesaver. I keep it in my bag now and take it along with me to work as well. I like that it is not oily where you can't even hold a pen, instead the product gets absorbed straight into the skin and works its magic, Within a day or two the skin is so soft and there is no more chapping. Definitely a good product to have.

The product is packaged in a large squeeze tube with unisex branding. I have previously used (and loved) the 'For Her' version of this brands hand cream and I was excited to test out this version to compare. The product itself is a light moisturising cream which sinks in quickly but leaves your hands lightly moisturised. The great thing about this though, is that it contains lactic acid which exfoliates the dead skin and within a few days of continual use, actually improves the condition of the skin therefore not needing to use hand cream as often. It has no scent/is minimally scented so it doesn't affect my sensitive nose as I can feel nauseous from strong scented products. I used this throughout the day for 5 days and within that time I noticed my hands were much less dry and it helped with the psoriasis I had on my knuckles from overfishing my hands as of late. Overall, I would recommend this product to everyone and will continue to use this.

I am a veterinary nurse and my hands are exposed to some nasty stuff. Especially chemicals that dry out my hands and ruin my skin. I was super excited to give tough hands a go and it certainly made a difference. I’d get home from work and wash my hands washing the day of work away and they would be so sad and dry :( I applied the tough hands just before bed and rubbed it in and wake up the next morning to happy hands!! It was easy to use, wasn’t too oily like other hand specific moisturizers and there wasn’t an over powering smell. Very pleasant to use. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gwenythm from Intensive hand cream The Tough Hands Intensive Skin Repair Cream was included in the 2021 Best in Beauty Awards box, so I was most interested to see if the product lived up to it's packaging, which proclaims that it is an "Industrial Strength" intensive skin repair. My hands have been extremely dry, even to the point of cracking and bleeding. Constantly having to use hand sanitiser (an unfortunate necessity in today's environment) has been a disaster for my hands. I have tried many hand creams/lotions, but none have been as effective as this one. It is non oily, and is easily absorbed. My skin is not cracking, and I no longer dread the sight of sanitiser. I use it throughout the day when necessary, and have used it under cotton gloves when going to bed. As it is fragrance free, with no "nasties" it is suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Does it live up to it's claims ? Yes ! Australian Made and Owned ? Yes !

As there is an abundance of hand cream and lotion out there I really thought what would be so special about this one? However I was pleasantly surprised, DU’IT Tough Hands Intensive Skin Repair formulated for dry, cracked and irritated hands and best of all an Australian made and owned brand, really did live up to its promise so little wonder it purports to be Australia’s No. 1 Hand Cream Brand in Pharmacy. The cream which is considered industrial strength, arrived in a very recognisable and generous 150g yellow, white and blue tube with a blue click cap with the promise of visible effects within one day. Another surprise was that it is completely free from Lanolin, Parabens, Petrolatum and a few other nasties. Upon using it I found it to be a very rich cream. It is white with the slightest tinge of pink which blends to clear and surprisingly is completely fragrance free. Only a very small amount is needed as it can be greasy if too much is used. I have to say I found it extremely moisturising and my hands felt so soft and stayed that way for quite some time. I found it worked very well on the heels and soles of my feet too.

I started using this at work as I need to hydrated my hands. I loved that you only need to use a pea sized amount. It is a gel like consistency. It absorbed into the hand so easily that it left no residue which, is ideal for me as I write/types notes. My hands felt soft and smooth after a day of use, as the skin around my nails were smoother. Loved having hands that were smooth to touch as looked the best that they have in a long time. I have this on my desk at work and use it straight after washing my hands. I would definitely purchase this product as it did what it states it repairs skin in 1 day. I also nice this at night before bed for some added hydration overnight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kk77 from Works well on cracked dry hands When I first saw this, I expected it to be super greasy as it was labelled "intensive" and for "tough hands". However, it's nothing like it. As stated by the label, it is not greasy, it actually absorbs into the skin really well. And theres nothing more satisfying than applying this on super dry hands and rubbing your hands and watching the cream disappear and absorb right into your skin, knowing it's doing it's work and moisturising the hands. I actually have old lady hands, very wrinkly and prone to cracked finger tips, dry fingers and through constant cleaning and never wearing gloves, my hands are just super dry. My husband complains that holding my hands makes him bleed! But when I apply this magic stuff onto my hand, it's moisturised and so soft. My hands are soft!!!! =) I do have to keep applying though as my hand is constantly dry. And the fact that it absorbs well so I can apply the cream and carry on with my chores, I don't have to wait around for it to dry and worry about leaving cream on surfaces I touch. I also love that its fragrant free too. No funky smells from this cream. I also apply on dry patches here and there, like my legs or feet. Works wonders.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annyex. from Driest of the driest hands cure! I've been through trying many hand creams both to treat the work I do (hospital) and seasonally especially winter. Du'It tough hand cream is right up my recommendation! It is a heavy duty hand cream that just cuts through the drought hands to nourish and treat the driest of the driest hands. I would say Du'It hand cream texture is similar to Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream, that clear white thick consistency that comes out of the tube and just lathering the product onto my hands to let it sink and absorb which leaves my hands healed and soft! Despite the heavy treatment and given the thick consistency, the hand cream needs a long time to let it sink it. It's a catch 22 because the hand cream is exceptional in performance but it's not the most practical, so I found it's ideal to be used before bed and when I'm doing very minimal with my hands! (which is hardly ever) This may include applying the cream on the back of my hands given that I fiddle on my phone so it works for when I go on walks, type on the computer or reading. I found that the residual can leave marks on my phone so it certainly needs time to absorb! Even if I use a light weight hand cream, I won't get the nourishment as well as Du'It! I also found that it helped with my nails as well, especially when they get a bit flaky it just gives that nourishment and treatment it needs. Definitely a re-purchase and very suitable in winter!

Cause would have been the strong fragrance and interacting with my medication though. I noticed that this 150g tube was Fragrance Free so I tried it and no burning at all. It actually feels lovely on your hands so I am impressed now. With washing up or just doing hand washing during the cold days, my hands do get very dry and cracked as I hate wearing gloves. It’s in a flip top lid which I do like when applying hand creams. It is a very lightweight cream that easily absorbs into your skin and no fragrance to irritate your skin or sensitive noses. My hands are a little sensitive these days and I now know, this cream is suitable for sensitive skin. With this cream you don’t squeeze a lot out, just apply a pea size amount to your hands or otherwise the cream will feel tacky on your skin. Honestly I felt the effects immediately after one use and continued using every day and at night before I drifted off to sleep. In the morning my hands feel so smooth, hydrated and soft. It's a product that says what it does and does what it says. I used to be so bad with moisturising my hands but now being 34 and my hands looking like I should be in my 70's I can't afford to slack off. This product works really well. You only need a small amount and it smooths over my hands so nicely. I also like that it doesn't leave my hands feeling sticky or tacky and they instantly look hydrated. Even though you don't need to use much the one time I do use a little extra is at night before bed, for me it is like an overnight hand mask and by morning my hands are so smooth and soft. I am so happy to have found this. Definitely going to be a staple in my collection and definitely keeping one on my bedside table in winter.

But I know the name now because their Tough Hands intensive skin repair cream is an excellent product! I have dry skin, especially on my hands, and can't use a lot moisturisers without further irritation. So I am always looking for good products that heavily moisturise without making skin more red or itchy. And Tough Hands is it! I was firstly very pleased to find, after doing further research, that du'it is Aussie made and owned. I would say Tough Hands is their piece de resistance. It reminds me of vasoline, but without the gunky heavy feel. Tough Hands spread on very smoothly and with no fragrance. It has the feel of a skin barrier cream but sinks in really nicely without leaving a lot of residue on the skin. It feels very calming and does what it says it will!

I’ve been using this hand cream every morning and night for the past ten days. It comes in a 150g plastic tube with a flip top lid and is very easy to use. I just apply it to clean dry hands and let it absorb for few minutes. It is non greasy and absorbed almost immediately. My hands get really dry and rough in winter. I am so impressed with this hand cream as after only two days of using it my hands weren’t dry and rough anymore! My hands looked and felt so much softer, smoother and moisturised. Rated 5 out of 5 by Meedee from If you want soft hands then this is for you I'm working with special needs children, and because of that and with the added drama of covid I have to use hand sanitizer constantly. All of that alcohol content causes drying of the skin. When I get the chance, I apply hand cream. Normally I go for something that feels luxe and smells amazing. Now the Du'it Tough Hands has little to no scent and it does not feel luxe at all, but do not let that fool you. This stuff is not greasy at all. Even though on the first application I felt I was going to be left with greasy and tacky hands, I was pleased to find that I was very wrong. This cream absorbs into the skin within seconds and leaves you with hands that feel soft and hydrated. Applying each night before bed leaves me with wonderfully soft hands by morning. This product works and I know exactly where I will invest my hand cream allowance in future. I don't need a product that smells divine. I need and want a product that leaves me with the softest hands possible and Du'it Tough hands wins hands down.

To me it is a bit more on the masculine side and I line pastel colours and cute things, however I can see why this design may have been chosen - it communicates a true blue, effective product promise that can fix dry hands. Scent- mild and pleasant. Made me feel- oh so soft and I love it! I have dry hands from cleaning and working in school and it honestly works so well. My hands feel nourished, soft and it isn’t as greasy or heavy as you would expect. It soakes in and does a fab job at reducing calluse, dry spots and leaves your hands, arms and elbows soft and taken care of. Overall-I swear by this product and I love how effective it is! My only critique is to maybe bring out a travel size and perhaps have a scented one? Maybe it could be called “roadie” and have a little cactus on it or something? Like this cream helps your skin not be dry like a cactus? :)

I've been using this product for ages now and it's the best I've ever tried. I will probably never change. I suffer from dermatitis – eczema on my hands and fingers and they often cause me a lot of pain especially during the winter. Because of that my hands and more so my fingers often get really dry due to constant washing and hand sanitiser since covid. I have found this product is an amazing fix, and it truly does work miracles overnight. It hasn’t got the most pleasant scent, but it doesn’t stink either. It absorbs pretty quickly and is not at all oily or greasy but leaves more of a dirty feeling coating on your hands. If you can put up with that feeling then you will find within only one day of use your hands will be almost back to normal. It leaves them feeling smooth and crack free again. I use it every night without fail before I go to bed and during the day when my hands flare up. I won’t lie to you, my hands do still get cracked during the winter but it is mainly human error due to me not applying the Du’it hand cream soon enough. This is seriously without a doubt the best hand cream I have ever used and I keep on repurchasing it again and again. I cannot praise the Du’it Tough Hands enough. It really is a great product and I especially like that it is Australian made. I only wish it came in a smaller tube as well because it is such a generously large size it really does not fit in my handbag or pocket.

I wish I had discovered this hand cream at the beginning of winter and not at the end, because it provides ample of moisture to dry hands. The tube this cream comes in is huge! So there was enough to share with my whole family and everybody loved it. Since it fragrance free, then my partner was more than willing to try it without fearing of smelling of flowers. The texture of the cream was not too thick, more of a lotion like , non-oily and it absorbed really quickly but on the other hand, lasted for a long time. I applied it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening and have noticed that the skin on my hands is less rough. I will definitely keep on using it so that the skin on my hands will not turn dry again and remain the softness I have just achieved after using this hand cream.

I particularly love using it on my feet after a shower, it really helps softens everything and my feet are sandal ready for the upcoming hot days. Packaging - It's not exactly pretty to look at, and the bottle is too chunky to carry around in my bag Formula - The consistency is nice, not thick nor too runny. It doesn't leave a greasy residue that makes everything stick to my skin. Scent - Nothing particularly overpowering. Results - My hands are left feeling really nice and soft after applying a small amount on both hands. I use a bigger amount on my feet and apply socks on immediately after that. The next morning my feet are really nice and soft, even the rougher parts like my heels which are normally very rough and hard. Will repurchase as soon as I run out.

The tube contains a generous 150g, Du`it written in white with deep blue oval behind this. Below the tube has yellow and the image of a hand. This fragrance free hand cream is ideal for dry, cracked and irritated hands, is industrial strength and can be used 2 or 3 times daily as necessary. Being industrial strength makes it ideal for manual labourers, Ideal also for people working in many industries and those who do a lot of gardening work. It provides a barrier against moisture loss, and in these days of frequent hand washing will help hands to feel protected and soft, and is particularly ideal for sensitive skin. I used this every evening and found that only a little is required massaged into the hands. Too much and it takes longer to absorb. It made my hands feel very soft with a feeling of hydration.

The result starts to appear day by day, and after weeks, my hands feel soft and smooth. I'm glad that I gave it a try and to top it all off its Made in Australia and I have no hesitation in recommending DU’IT Tough Hands for Her as an effective anti-ageing hand cream. Ive even tried using this on my cracked feet and would you believe it, it bloody worked much better than the other stuff out there for cracked heels. I just found the best product for my hands and feet that work insanely good. So worth the price when it works on 2 parts of the body. Get it on special so you can try it out before purchasing it full price but for me its worth every cent

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aimee1 from Hydrating & nourishing This product was received as a trial review. The Duit tough hands intensive skin repair is presented in a 150ml bold packaged tube. I had seen it previously in chemists, however the packaging turned me off from purchasing. The cream is is marketed as an industrial strength, non greasy protective barrier hand cream to « shield skin from the harsh environmental stresses & neglect » & is « extremely effective for the softening & moisturising of chronically dry, cracked & irritated hands ». I found the cream to be a perfect consistency, neither too thick & is doesn’t easily rub in or too thin whereby it doesn’t feel as though it’s nourishing. It rubs in easily & doesn’t leave a sticky texture. My hands have been exceptionally dry due to the combination of winter & needing to wash/hand sanitize my hands numerous times throughout the day. To test out the creams ability on cracked skin, I decided to try it out on my cracked heels. To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations of this product however I was completely wrong. After 5 days of use, my hands feel less dry & my heels are no longer cracked & are now feeling soft.

My hands are always on the dry side and living in lockdown, where regular use of hand sanitizer is a must, they are looking much dryer than normal - plus it is winter! I was really please with the feeling of the product. It was soft and easy to soak into my hands. Has a nice, mild smell and left my hands soft for hours. I was silly enough to offer this to my husband to try. His hands are dryer than mine as his work also contributes to the dryness. It was clear that as soon as he used it, I was not getting this back. Usually he isn’t one for moisturiser but he has been using this regularly and has even bought one for the office and the car, plus one for me! Such a great product and an absolute essential in the current environment where we need hand sanitizer also. I hope it comes in hand bag sized tubes also.

This hand cream is all that it claims to be. While it is is a very thick hand cream and rubs in easy without being greasy. It does take a while to completely absorb but once it has absorbed the skin is feeling very soft and nourished. It is recommended to use 2 or 3 times a day but I would use it after any serious hand washing is done just to keep the hands soft. It is also recommended to use it overnight for the long term effect of hydration while sleeping. As I use hand cream all the time this is a ritual of mine and keeping my hands soft and smooth is always on my mind. Using this hand cream definitely meets my requirements and I would recommend this as one of the more effective hand creams on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jazlovestoskate from Heavy-duty hydration! The Du'it Tough Hands intensive skin repair is a great heavy duty hydrating product. It's a very generous 150 ml squeeze tube and the formula is very creamy and thicker than your average moisturiser. The product is fragrance free but does have a very slight almost medical smell to it but it's only noticeable if you put it right up at your nose. The product is great for day or night, it can be used all over the body and lasts at least half the day for me. Perfect to use on the feet under some clean socks during bedtime too! Although I found it to be very useful for my hands as I have to keep wearing gloves and sanitiser at work which leaves them very dry at the end of the day but this is an instant relief and very soon after applying my skin feels much softer and hydrated. A great product to have during these times or for anyone who is out in the garden a lot too!
