[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who is fond of the extra freshness a mouthwash provides, I was excited to try the Colgate Total Clean Mint Antibacterial Mouthwash. I've been satisfied with existing Colgate mouthwashes I've purchased in the past, but to get the long lasting freshness I crave, I've had to suffer through the burn of alcohol and fragrance of essential oils. The pleasantly minty scent of the product leaves my mouth feeling clean for hours and over the testing period, I've felt that my teeth remain nice and smooth as I run my tongue over them. This is especially noticeable when I pair the mouthwash with my Colgate Toothpaste. The mouthfeel of the product is not unpleasant as there is no burning/tingling sensation however I initially dealt with a slightly bitter after taste. This was quite short-lived as I got used to the flavour after day one. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product and will DEFINATELY be purchasing it again once it becomes available in Australia!

Given I have sensitive teeth and gums, whilst it had a very refreshing taste and effect on both my moth and breath, it wasn't too harsh or irritating either and left me with fresh breath and a clean feel for hours post gargling. I noticed whilst using this product everyday twice a day that my breath and mouth felt much cleaner and my fresher than usual which was a pleasant surprise and all without excessive burning/hurting my gums and mouth. I would highly recommend for anyone to give this mouthwash a try, especially those with particularly sensitive mouths and gums in particular. This will kill the germs and refresh your mouth brilliantly without excessive damage and pain, like some other harsher formulations have done so in the past to me. Give it a go!

It might be subliminal but I like my mouthwash to feel like it’s working rather than just taste nice. The flavour is fresh as you’d expect and leaves my teeth feeling clean but it just has that added oomph that alcohol free mouthwash generally lack so I know my teeth are well protected.
