For advice, contact a Poisons Information Centre (phone Australia 131 126; New Zealand 0800 764 766) or a doctor (at once). If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and flush the eye continously with running water. Continue flushing until advised to stop by a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor or for at least 15 minutes. If skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water.

After the second application, the product wouldn’t adhere to the brush and instructions say not to wash it. Wiping with a cloth to no avail.

Sparkly smile [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this whiting tool for a while now, it definitely works well at gradually brightening your teeth. I saw a big difference within a couple of days. However the application of it is quite annoying, I found it uncomfortable overnight to have a stringy paste on my teeth. I looked forward to each morning scrubbing the paste off my teeth. I also found that my teeth were more sensitive after using the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Improved design but no visible results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Colgate Optic White 6% Whitening Wand is an improvement on the older style Colgate whitening wands where you used to click the pen to get the whitening serum out. This new wand lets you dip a brush into the serum which is a big improvement! Unfortunately after using this higher hydrogen peroxide whitening wand for two weeks straight I did not see much whitening improvement. Maybe further constant use would allow me to see visible results. I also found that as I brushed the serum onto my bottom teeth, sometimes the serum would gather between my teeth and harden and then break away during the night which might not be the safest to ingest. Overall, I didn’t see any visible improvements and am not sure if I would have seen improvements from more continuous use.

I just personally had issues with the application of the product and then the mouth feel until the next morning when I brushed my teeth again. I just couldn’t get past the sensation of the residue on my teeth. I believe it’s at good, effective product but it may not be for everyone.

It conveniently worked while I got my beauty sleep, and after brushing it showed average results -even after using consecutively for 10 nights.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from colgate optic white whitening wand [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this product a hassel and awkward to use as I found it hard to completely dry and then keep each tooth dry. I then couldn't tell if I had successfully covered each tooth properly (as it's invisible obviously at that time) so I over used the paste each go trying to be sure which as a result means I have far less then 3 weeks worth. It was hard to brush off in the morning  so I would brush twice. I think I noticed some spots that were whiter but nothing significant, which could be simply because I found the product difficult to work so might not have been doing successful attempts. Positives were that it didn't hurt my teeth or make them sensitive,  if you got it on lips or gums you could feel it but it was mild. The taste of product wasn't as bad as I expected to be.

Even though I followed the instructions, the solution stuck to my gums and made my mouth feel weird during the night, which affected my sleep.

Every morning my teeth would feel rough and like I couldn’t get them clean after brushing. My teeth would feel scratchy. Plus they didn’t seem any whiter after the 2 weeks.
