Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for sensitive skin I put this moisturiser on my toddler son after his nightly bath as he has sensitive skin which also dries out quickly and can be itchy. It calms his skin and relieves any itching he has. It is lightweight and is non greasy and absorbs into his skin quickly. It is also good for using on his face which can sometimes get red and itchy from baby wipe usage on that area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple moisturiser that works Its okay, it's one of my absolute staples when i run out of my other special ones that have active ingredients in it. I find that it moisturises my combination oily skin all day long and I don't feel guilty about applying heaps since its very inexpensive and you can get it pretty much anywhere, (half a Litre for $11 is a steal) The only downside is that there aren't any "actives" so its a bit basic but I guess thats why its so popular and I can see how this would be helpful for sensitive skin. I like to mix my serums with it as an emulsifier and apply it that way so I get added benefits and so it spreads easier. It also takes a bit of a while to "soak in".

Rated 4 out of 5 by from affordable but alright So this moisturising lotion is quite affordable. A little goes a long way, and it also doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It's really light, and a little goes a long way. I don't feel like it leaves a gross film on my face and it also doesn't clog my pores either. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. Scent isn't strong and so it's not overpowering. Can use it over the whole body as it works really well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, simple body lotion This is great for summer. It has a light, fresh texture and really gives the skin a good hit of hydration. It is not heavy enough for my skin in winter as the oil content is not to high, but I love it in the warmer months. The scent is also light and fresh which also makes it great for use in summer. It is a little bit pricier than supermarket brands, but not prohibitively expensive. It is also quite easy to get a hold of as it is available at most chemists.

This is an unscented lotion that isn't too heavy it absorbs fairly quickly so it doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy I use this as a body lotion but occasionally I will use it as a face moisturiser and haven't had any bad reactions ( I have combination skin) If you can get the large pump body on sale I find this a great affordable body lotion.

I prefer to use it after a shower as it works best and really keeps my skin moisturised. When I apply it to my face I make sure I let it absorb into my skin especially on my face before applying makeup. I find it can be slightly greasy on my nose and forehead sometimes I have to pat a tissue over my face just to get the residue off but it is truly amazing for dry sensitive skin. I also love that I can use it on my 3yr old daughters skin it’s gentle and keeps her skin hydrated.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for sensitive skin This moisturiser comes in a variety of different sizes. I buy it in the 1 litre bottle because it is better value. For first time users, I’d recommend you buy it in a smaller bottle until you know whether it suits you or not. It is available in some supermarkets and most pharmacies. My bottle comes with a pump dispenser. When we go away I decant this into a smaller bottle for ease of travel. It is a thick white cream like consistency. I have read other reviews and I disagree, I think it does have a gentle fragrance to it. Maybe it comes from the macadamia nut oil as it does say fragrance free. It doesn't smell like some other dermatologist recommended lotions. When there isn't much left in the bottle, I add a little water, swish it around and get the last dregs out. I have been using this for years and have not had any reactions to it at all. I have pimple prone skin and am in my early 40’s. It feels good on the skin, not greasy at all. But lately I have been wondering whether my skin needs something else. This may not be moisturising enough. Continue to buy? Yes. My husband will continue to use it even if I don't.

If you have cracked and flaking skin, it will be noticeably smoother and softer the next day if you apply liberally and massage it in well. However, the formula is thick and will feel tacky even after massaging. There is no added fragrance but the chemical scent is very light. Smells ok enough to put on my sensitive skin.

It can be used all over the body or on the face. It feels light weight on the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling unlike other moisturisers may do. I've used this on my acne prone skin as a facial moisturiser and it didn't clog my pores but provided sufficient moisture to my skin

This is great on all types of skin mine is sensitive and works great on it. It has no scent, it is light and yet very moisturising. I love how my skin feels after I apply this moisturiser. It sinks right into my skin, binds water to skin, and doesn't leave any greasy residue, just perfectly moisturised skin. I didn't have any breakouts while using this product.

Unfortunately this is super greasy on my face (I have combination skin) and when I use this at night I wake up in the morning and feel gross, but skin is so shiny and oily. However, I use this on my body and it's fine. It's actually great on the rest of my body and doesn't leave me with a greasy feeling. I also have sensitive skin and this doesn't react or imitate my skin at all. This is also pretty cheap which is great for those on a budget (or not, really I'd continue using this is a body mosituriser regardless if I had $10 to spend or $50).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle, effective, cheap I have been using this moisturiser once again after years of disuse and I've found that it gets the job done. It can be suitable for day-wear, but only for cold days, otherwise there will be some shine after an hour or two. It absorbs pretty quickly and it's the perfect moisturiser for sensitive skin. My skin didn't have any adverse reactions to Cetaphil, which I am very pleased about. However, making the moisturiser's effectiveness last longer in the bottle is vital to ensuring it delivers results every application. I've discovered that keeping it on my normal bathroom shelf exposed to the heat of my showers made the formula a little runny and it diminishes its moisturising properties. Overall, a cheap quick fix. Not the holy grail of all moisturisers, but it definitely does the job well enough.

I have only used it on my body and it certainly worked well. It would probably be best for those with skin that's not overly dry, as it is quite light. I light to swap and change my body moisturisers, but this one will stay in the mix for quite a while I would imagine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product :) I used to used to use this on my face after I had a BHA peel, where the top layers of my skin tightens and peels off.<br />During the process of my skin peeling off my skin would feel sooo uncomfortable, so i would slap this lotion on my face and it would help relieve it. I also had a friend who had flaky dry skin and i gave some of it to my friend in a little container, and not only does she love it, her siblings enjoys it as well.<br />great for the body too

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful for body I initially bought this for my face, and I do use it as a facial moisturiser at night, but I have found that this makes an amazing body moisturiser. When I use it on my face, it makes it feel a little greasy (I have combination skin), but because I use an SPF moisturiser during the daytime I only use this at night and so the slight greasiness doesn't affect me very much. It's not actually that greasy, and you only need a tiny amount to cover your face. However, when I use it on my body, it absorbs really quickly, doesn't irritate my skin after shaving, and moisturises really well. I would highly recommend this for a body moisturiser, and also as a facial moisturiser if you don't already have really oily skin.

A great product to use if you are a frequent hand washer and this causes you dryness. I won't give it 5 stars because it does leave a shinny residue, but this is only really noticeable if used on your face. Overall if you have sensitive skin and are in need of a non-fragranced, non-Comedogenic moisturizer, you can't go wrong with this. The price is certainly right!

I just don't think it's suitable for the face if you want to be able to wear makeup over it. It doesn't soak in to the skin quick enough to be a flawless all round moisturiser and I personally find it leaves an oily residue on the skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle moisturiser for very dry, irritated skin This is a thick moisturiser that is very gentle and doesn't have any irritating ingredients or fragrance. It comes in generous sizes up to 1L and can be used on both the face and body. It is sometimes recommended by dermatologists for sensitive, irritated skin. It is quite heavy would suit dry to very dry skin better and is great for the times when you are suffering from dry, flaky or itchy skin or when your skin barrier is disrupted. It's not suitable if your skin leans towards the oily spectrum. It's better for night time, as it's not something that can be layered easily under make-up, especially since you'd need another sun protection product as it doesn't contain SPF. As a facial moisturiser it doesn't really have any useful active ingredients, when other brands such as QV and Cerave have ceramides and niacinamide etc, I feel that Cetaphil is falling behind and I would recommend other brands in preference to this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Basic body lotion Have used this lotion after trying and using up baby version (that I love, minus the soapy scent). But it does not stand up to that one. This one is thicker in formulation and white. Feels a bit coaty on the skin and does not soften my skin as well as Cetaphil baby lotion. Some use this as a face lotion too, I would not ever....it is only for body and even there does not really hydrate. After using most of the bottle have noticed that it just is an extra step, but nothing more. Could easy not apply and have same skin result. It is basically water with processed chemical emollients. Some small amount of macadamia oil and vitE added. At the end B5 too. WIll go back to my other lotion or baby version. This one does nothing good for the skin. But nothing bad either. Ingredient list: Purified Water, Glycerol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Cetostearyl Alcohol (and) Ceteareth-20, Macadamia Nut Oil, Dimethicone, Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate, Stearoxytrimethylsilane (and) Stearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Farnesol, Benzyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid.
