In comparison to the old design, the new pads are definitely thinner and don't shift/move or bulk up as much throughout the day. They absorb quickly and stays feeling dry. I would forget that I'm even wearing them because they were so comfortable - maybe a bit too comfortable since I ended up overflowing one time because they were so unnoticeable. The trade-off is that they seem to hold slightly less liquid than the old design, but that's only a con if you're as forgetful as I am. Definitely worth the trade for the extra comfort.

The regular flow design with wings is really comfortable and doesn't make it feel too bulky. Perfect for those days in cycle with medium flow. They could also be used on a heavy day if you don't mind changing pads more frequently but I prefer to switch to a super pad that is longer as well to offer more security.
