General Information

Ferrograd C® contains iron & vitamin C for the prevention & treatment of tiredness & fatigue, associated with iron deficiency.

Ferro-grad C® helps fight the fatigue of iron deficiency with:
- A therapeutic dose of iron1
- Modified release technology to help reduce the risk of gastric side effects2,3
- 500mg of vitamin C to help your body absorb iron effectively1
In an easy to take once-a-day tablet, Ferro-grad C® can be taken for at least 3 months (or as recommended by your doctor) to replenish iron stores.4

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend I've forgotten to take these for a while and I feel awful. When I remember to take them, I'm up and about doing things without thinking about it. If I don't take them, I can be in bed not doing anything, just thinking, for hours if I have the time. It's like my body won't function without the extra iron. I work as a pharmacy assistant and the other companies will tell you theirs is better because it's more easily absorbed. I have to disagree. If you're always tending toward iron deficiency, you need a much higher dose. I have a sensitive stomach, but I don't have any issues with these. Some people get issues with the high amount of iron, but that can be remedied by taking them less often. Give them a go if your iron is not at the higher end of 'normal'.

If you are someone who, like me, often struggles to swallow larger tablets, these are very easy to take as they are coated and do not begin to disintegrate on your tongue before swallowing. It's convenient that it combines both iron and vitamin C in the same tablet to minimise your pill burden. I have re-purchased numerous times and would do so again.
