Rated 5 out of 5 by Ms_Jee from Heaps of hydration, zero breakouts! I have combination skin, my cheeks are so so dry but my tzone is usually a bit oilier. Its a struggle to find something that puts the moisture in that most of my face desperately need without causing havoc on the rest of my face. I was really worried when I first started using this as it was such a thick cream but when applied it soaks in fast and leaves my skin silky. Doesnt cause any extra oil on my tzone either. I use some pretty harsh products for pimples so my skin needs to have something that will soak in and do some real good for it and this delivers in that respect, my skin is never ever dry and I wake up with soft, supple skin. Oh, plus no breakouts from it!! I have been through so many creams and always over looked QV for some reason, regret not trying this sooner, could of saved alot of $$$ and worry over breakouts from products that didnt work for me.

It does go on a bit greasy but thats ok for a night cream, it just takes a bit longer to soak in. I wouldnt reccomend it for oily skin types at all.<br />It makes my skin really soft and supple. And i love that it has no scent.

Nice thick, moisturising cream with a non-greasy formula. Really does make my skin feel moisturised. Cream is also non-scented which is a real bonus as i find a lot of creams have a strong fragrace. Love, Love, Love this product. Will definatly re-buy.

The Nurturing Night Cream by QV is so soft and silky and spreads all over your face with ease. The container is lovely with a silver top and glass bottom. It improves the skins elasticity and minimises fine lines and wrinkles. Being on more senior side in age I can do with all the help I can get. My skin does feel firmer and smoother and I do like that it is fragrance free. This night cream will last a long time and is not overly expensive.

The lid and jar are identical in shape and size to the Dragon's Blood face sculpting gel. It's a nice solid jar with a silver lid that's easy to screw open and close. It comes in a box and the box has all the ingredients and information listed on it and the jar just has the brand name, product and expiry date. The cream is white, thick and has no scent. I love the feeling when it goes on, it nice and creamy and will definitely be going in my fridge when the weather warms up. It is a little bit greasy, but I can live with it as I only use it at night. I mostly use it on my face and occasionally on my neck. Happy to report that it cause no breakouts to my sensitive skin. Great value, 50g for $20 and easy to get at Priceline. Made in Australia.

I'm closer to 50 than I am to 30 so a night cream is definitely required. My skin care routine involves more steps than the path to the Buddhist Temple where Ace Ventura does his slinky in When Nature Calls. This presented a problem. How should I review this no nonsense night cream? Should I cut out the 17 steps between cleansing and moisturiser and review it, or just sub it in for the cream I'm already using? I decided to try both ways. It's a nice jar - looks solid and slightly lux. No discernible smell but I have allergies at the moment so don't trust me on that. It feels light yet substantial and goes on beautifully. When subbed in place of my usual final step moisturiser I did notice my skin felt slightly greasy, but I'm practically an old age pensioner at this point, so that won't kill me. I did experience a little congestion in my nose though. When I went bare bones cleanser to moisturiser I expected to experience all sorts of adverse effects. Um, I did not. My skin was calm and moisturised and the redness around my irritated nose lessened. Happy news? Not really, what am I doing spending all that money on the other stuff, but you'll need to prise my retinoids out of my cold dead hands.

All I had to do was turn the jar around and it's written not the back...my eye sight is fine (I keep telling myself) I used it to remove my make up both night and day (if I forgot the night before). I also used it on the backs of my hands as I loved the feel of the silky smooth texture on my hands, it didn't take long for it to absorb into my skin. There's not an overpowered smell to the cream too which is a bonus, nothing worse than smelling like a chem lab. The jar is easy to open, and a great size for the amount of product/cream you go through. I only used about a 5c amount cheeks, chin forehead nose area dabbed with my finger (if that makes sense). I didn't use it on my neck area, I'm not a fan of creams on my neck. I've read some comments about thickness of the cream, to be honest there were a few times I just had to wash it off (say 3/20 times) because my face just wasn't happy. Combination skin, not fun on oily days. But when I did use it my skin felt amazing. If I had to choose between the 2 I reviewed... the QV face cleanser did a better job with my combo skin.

I have always used night creams and for me the thicker and creamier the better. This night cream does not disappoint, it has a nice blend of thickness but spreads into the face and soaks into the skin effortlessly. I find that it leaves my skin feeling plump and moisturised before going to sleep and then still nice and soft after a nights sleep of moving around constantly. There is no residue on my pillow as it soaks into the skins nicely. I had been using a cold pressed oil on my skin, which i do enjoy using but found this was a nice change to my bedtime routine and was also then complimented with QV Cleanser where i could clean my skin after being at work, remove my makeup and then finish with this cream at night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Shelld79 from A lovely, gentle night cream I was very excited to receive this QV Face Nurturing Night Cream to review as I was on the hunt for a new night cream so this one came at the perfect time for me. My skin has been very dry and sensitive lately due to it being the middle of winter and with heaters and air-conditioners constantly going all day to warm up our house and office my skin feels like it needs a lot of extra care at night after cleansing. This cream feels really thick and luxurious and doesn't have any noticeable scent which I really like as creams that have a very strong scent can sometimes trigger migraines for me. It's lovely to apply and makes my skin feel soft and moisturised at night without feeling too greasy. I did notice that it could sometimes cause some very slight stinging on the really sensitive skin around the base of my nose, but other than that I found it was a really nice cream in general to use and I would definitely buy it again. I've been using it for a few weeks now and am not even half-way through the tub so it's really good value for money as well. I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone with sensitive skin who needs that extra bit of care sometimes if they get irritated by regular products.

The packaging is nice with the printed box and the product itself came with a seal after you opened the lid. So it is sealed for protection. I love the packaging design which gives me a peace of mind that this product is brand new and never been used with the seal. I like that it is fragrance free which means it will suit all skin type and most people. It is also colour free. There is less chance of skin allergy being free from fragrance and colour. The product is of a creamy texture which feels nourishing for my skin and great for use at night to give that additional feel of hydration. Although this product is very moisturizing, it doesn't give me the heavy and sticky feel on my skin. It absorbs into my skin very nicely and I feel like it gives me a barrier of moisture that will last all night. This is a great product from QV Face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nwhincup from A product that does what it should QV Face Nurturing Night Cream is a lovely light moisturiser perfect for daily use and in conjunction with QV Face Gentle Cleanser. It comes in a lovely screw top tub with an appealing shiny / mirrored lid. About the same size as other moisturising tubs. It has no fragrance and is very gentle product. I applied this at night just before bed and found it absorbed very well into my skin, with no irritation or greasy feeling. By morning, my skin felt plump and moisturised, I think less sleep lines are visible in the morning . In the first week, I did experience some breakouts, but I think this was more attributed to the weather than the product. A small amount goes a long way and I think should be applied sparingly to start. It contains vitamin B3 complex and is a low irritant being ph-balanced so perfect for more mature skins that are prone to becoming irritated. A really lovely product at an excellent price point and I would absolutely recommend.

This would sell me on whether I repurchased the product or not. I quite liked the scent of this one, didn’t find it offensive at all. Most night creams I’ve used have fragrance in them and it’s just too much when your trying to relax into your bedtime routine. This products scent wasn’t calming butting kind of slipped pleasantly into the background and wasn’t noticed at all. The moisture level on this cream was great! Absorbed into my skin quickly and was greasy or tacky at all which again I find most night creams are. This left my skin feeling well moisturised and smooth. It is really nice, I found myself rubbing it into my arms as well it moisturised that well. I would definitely recommend this product in conjunction with the cleanser. Neither product broke me out or agitated my skin at all. It was a pleasant experience overall.

It's like whipped butter. So lovely and thick but doesn't feel heavy on the skin? I have oily combo skin and usually have to be pretty soaring with creams, I could use as much if this as I wanted without feeling heavy on my face which was nice. It felt hydrating and rich. It didn't break me out and I think was the perfect level of hydration for a qld winter. I am interested to see if I feel the same on our sticky summer nights but currently it's perfect. The only downside with these tubs is getting product stuck under my nails which I loathe but a spatula can fix that (and is more hygienic in my opinion too). Would re purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jpandkt08 from Heavily moisturising night creme The QV face nurturing night cream comes in a lovely little glass tub with a white lid. The labelling and colouring is much the same as the cleanser in this range, quite basic and simple. Again as with the cleanser, I feel this product may be more appealing with some change to color or design. I do not often use a specific night cream, most times I apply a skin oil or serum and a normal day moisturiser. This QV night cream has quite a heavy thick consistency when you open the jar. There is no strong smell or perfume which I liked. It is white, and easy to apply once on the fingertips. I found this cream applied much easier straight after a shower, or when applied to damp skin. I did not find any negative effects from using this night cream, even on my sensitive skin, I was not used to feeling like I had something sitting on my skin before bed, so that took a little bit to get used to, but in the mornings I noticed that my face was definitely still very well moisturised, almost to where I didnt need to apply a day cream upon waking. I havent noticed a long term change as yet, no change in texture or appearance of my skin but it is nice to use a product that doesnt irritate sting or make my skin red. I will continue to use this night cream to see if my skin changes at all with further use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by freaky from Effective and a bargain! I have been continuously using this product for the past month and applied it lastly during my night routine. The product is housed in jar packaging which was a slight drawback for me as many knowledgeable Beauties have pointed out that jar packaging is more likely to spoil due to exposure to air and bacteria.. This is the only reason I didn't give this product full points. Ingredients include safflower oil to improve elasticity is a good anti inflammatory ingredient, is noncomedogenic, helps balance sebum levels and vitamin B3 complex reduces sensitivity. The product is also free from fragrance and other ingredients that can irritate the skin. In using this product, I can vouch that this is fantastic for sensitive skin as my redness areas greatly reduced. I found this cream to be an enjoyable end to my night routine as it felt very gentle on my skin. On applying this cream, I used a Q tip to minimise spoilage and applied all over my face, neck and décolletage. I found the cream to provide sufficient amount of moisture for a night cream and it was not greasy. The night cream was easily spread so a little went a long way as well. When I woke up, my skin felt it was sufficiently protected and moisturised With prolonged use, I have found this product very beneficial as my skin moisture levels were sufficient especially when used in conjunction with the QV cleanser which I was also impressed with. Although this product is so gentle, it is extremely effective and I will definitely continue to use. I see this product generally retails around the $15 - $20 mark which is a great buy for the benefits you get. I am so glad that I have tried such a beneficial product. Thanks QV and Beautyheaven for allowing me the opportunity to try a very impressive skincare product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Negra001 from Inexpensive, effective product that is great for dry skin I have trialed this night cream for a few weeks now, replacing my regular night cream which is a lot more expensive however it does contain a lot more skin loving ingredients that target dry, ageing skin. This night cream is a lot more simple and minimalist yet effective and does what it claims. I have dry and sensitive skin and this night cream did not cause any irritation and most definitely left my dry skin moisturized and supple. Upon waking up, my skin would feel really hydrated. The vitamin B3 help reduce any sensitivity so I do not experience any redness or breakouts. This night cream does not contain any fragrance which is fantastic! Sometimes those creams can have such overpowering scents, even naturally derived ones. This cream is pH-balanced and free of lanolin and propylene glycol. I have been using it every evening after my QV Gentle cleaner and serums. It has been a great cream to finish my night time routine off. I have also used it a couple of times in the morning when i wanted some extra moisturise, under a heavier foundation. I highly recommend it.

Texture: Thick cream, white, non fragrances. Contains Safflower oil. I have used their QV wash range, since the birth of my first child. I am also exploring their face care products, and this QV Nurturing Night Cream is my always on my-want-to-try list but I was afraid it will breakout my skin. Finally, I have been given the opportunity to trial this product, thanks BeautyHeaven! Pros: Less packaging is a bonus. The QV Nurturing Night Cream is not too thick for my dry-combo skin in winter. Very soothing when put it on, specially the both side of my face felt itchy after cleansing. The cream absorbed well after application of toner. Doesn’t feel oily, and it is great for dry winter period. This QV Night Cream will be on my list of all purpose face care for winter, I wish they comes with bigger jar, eg. 80g. Best all purpose/muti-purpose moisturiser for the drier, wintery months at an affordable price tag. :) Cons: The empty jar is non-recyclable. Please consider a bigger jar eg. 70g or 80g jar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by duality from gentle, nourishing and hydrating Product comes boxed and inside is a weighty plastic jar with a screw-top lid. It is made in Australia (yay!!). The white cream inside is of a thick consistency and no scent. For me personally, I found the cream a little rich for my skin type (normal-dry). After using the supplied Gentle Cleanser and my usual serums and actives I applied this to my face. It applied easily and absorbed well - for the most part. I would classify this moisturiser as an occulusive type, so one that wraps your skin in a layer to keep the hydration in. My personal preference is to use a thicker gel-based sleeping pack for my skin type. The rich cream felt a little suffocating on my skin and I was getting a little heat and sweatiness if that makes sense. I tried for several nights and this persisted, so I switched to using it on my neck, chest and backs of my hands. It served that purpose really well, my hands especially loved it and I woke up with soft, smooth hands. While I love the cream and I will repurchase it for the hands and decolletage areas I wouldn't use it on my face again due to personal preference for my skin type.

As someone whose skin can be on the dry side, I do struggle to find a great winter moisturiser that provides adequate hydration while not overloading my skin. This night cream is a fantastic balance. In terms of packaging and presentation, this is a standard, no frills night cream in your basic screw top jar. The night cream is white as snow and soft and cooling to apply. I use roughly the size of a large pea on each cheekbone and lightly massage into my face in an upward motion. It’s particularly comforting following the use of my vitamin c serum and retinol, both of which can make my skin feel a bit tight. This night cream does not make my skin feel greasy at all, just perfectly hydrated and protected. I’m all for a skincare splurge, but I honestly feel that this is a budget beauty buy that says, “Why pay more if you don’t have to?” It works and it’s super affordable so I am 100% sold on this night cream!

Secondly - the scent, i love the smell of QV products, just like the cleanser, they are always so lovely and chemical free smelling, as the cleanser - they remind me of clean washed babies, so gentle and soft as i dislike chemical smelling products. Thirdly - how it works, my skin is sensitive in the cheek area and so desperately dry. I try to add rosehip oil to my moisturisers but not my night cream as they are usually a little thicker. This was so lovely on, i always make sure i put on my night cream an hour before bed so not to get my pillow cover all sticky . This was so nice after a shower and on a clean skin it just soaked in, if felt emollient and thick without being gluggy. It soothed my dry skin as soon as it went on and in the morning my skin felt so soft and smooth, hydrated and looked young and plumpy. I will probably re-purchase this as i am enjoying this - alot

For the last few weeks, I have been trialling Ego's QV Face Nurturing Night Cream alongside the QV Face Gentle Cleanser. Overall, I am pleased with how my skin looks and feels after using these two products together and I liked this night cream more than the cleanser.. The night cream comes in a short, sturdy plastic jar, which is boxed when first purchased. This jar looks nice but I am worried that the 50 g of product will run out fairly quickly. I find that I need to use a fair bit of product each night to cover face and neck. I loved that the night cream is fragrance-free. It really seems to have no perfume and did not irritate me. The texture is creamy and a medium weight. As mentioned, I found I needed to use a fair amount of product to cover my skin. It does not sink in straight away but I didn't find it heavy or uncomfortable. I do feel like the night cream is definitely gentle and will probably suit sensitive skin. I did not break out and my skin was not red or irritated. The product leaves my skin looking healthy and a little bit smoothed and plumped. It feels smooth and soft. I feel that this is a great night cream for those with sensitive skin or who are sensitive to fragrance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Caryl597 from Gentle, soothing and nourishing night cream This product was sent to me as part of the QV trial team. The gentle nurturing night cream comes in a twist lid jar. It has a rich and thick cream that a little goes a long way. I use my own spatula to scoop a pea size to cover my face and neck areas. It leaves my skin feel smooth, hydrated and nourished overnight. It is a fragrance-free that is a gentle night moisturiser. I feel confident that it helps to boost moisture levels for my dry-sensitive skin type. I find that it is perfect to use in the dry winter months, where I mostly experience dryness and this has been helping to keep that dry and flakey skin at bay. My skin just feels more soothed and calm whenever I include this night cream in my evening skincare routines. Though I do wish it came in a pump tube packaging instead of this jar as it didn’t come with a spatula for hygiene purposes. This is best suited for people for all skin types especially those who experience dry and sensitive skin types.

The first thing I noticed about the QV Nurturing Night Cream was the beautiful packaging. The jar itself feels heavy and solid and the silver lid adds a sense of luxe. You get a lot of product for a reasonable price, representing excellent value. The cream feels thick and nourishing and like all QV products does not contain artificial colours or any discernible scent. It spread well and not a lot of product was needed to achieve a good coverage. It did fell slightly heavy but I do not think this is a particularly bad thing in a night cream, especially in winter when my skin is dehydrated and thirsty. In the morning after using the cream my skin fell soft and plump. With continued use the dry patches I had developed on my cheeks started to disappear. I will continue to use this product, especially in winter when my skin needs a little extra love.
