General Information

Biore Pack Ultra 6


The only thing worse than your typical blackhead is a stubborn one. Bioré® Ultra deep cleansing pore strips offer maximum pore cleansing power to combat difficult pore-clogging dirt and oil around the nose area. Formulated with tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel to cool the skin so you feel it working. Custom fit to reach dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days. Dermatologically tested, hypo-allergenic.

Ingredients

Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Aqua, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Menthol, Hamamelis Virginiana.

Directions

Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet nose. The strip won’t stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch – like papier-mâché. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Apart From The Scent, These Seem The Same As Regular Bioré Strips These Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips aren't much different to the regular Deep Cleansing Pore Strips, but the ingredients (see below) are different. These pore strips smell like a combination of menthol & tea tree oil, whereas I've never noticed the regular pore strips having any scent at all. Each strip comes in its own foil sachet, so there's no chance of accidental water damage. The full instructions for use are on the back of the box AND on each foil sachet, with diagrams. These are so easy to use. These strips are supposed to remove 2x more deep-down clogged pores. I'm not sure that they're any better than the original pore strips. I think that some of the "gunk" that's left on the pore strips is tiny hairs Still, my pores look clearer than before use, so these strips are having some effect. Made in Japan. INGREDIENTS: Polyquaternium-37, Silica, Aqua, Glycerin, Polysilicone-13, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Methylparaben, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Menthol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract.

It does the job, easy to apply and you can see all the gunk that comes off when you peel it. Hurts a tiny bit. Leaves a thin layer that I just wash off before moisturising. I usually do it straight after a shower as the pores are more open and it works well. I like the picture on the box, makes me feel less silly wearing it in front of the hubby. Love the smooth feeling on my nose afterward too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instant and visible blackhead removal I have used the original strips for years and they are a staple in my cabinet. I also use chemical exfoliants but these strips give me instant visible results when I use them You should ensure your nose is slightly wet or moist before applying the strip, which allows the adhesive on the strip to adhere better to your nose. Once you feel the strip has hardened, you need to rip the strip off slowly and gently. You might be left with adhesive residue but it is easily washable with warm water There's nothing more satisfying than ripping off one of these strips and seeing all the dirt and blackheads on the strip that you've now removed I have not found that these differ all that much from the original strips. I get the same results and haven't experienced a deeper clean from these strips.

It doesn't matter how much I scrub, steam, exfoliate or cleanse my blackheads, nothing gets rid of them like these Biore strips! I absolutely love seeing the instant results and use them weekly!<br />The ultra deep ones are definitely better than the original, you can feel the strip working (almost tingly) as soon as you put it on. It's best to use straight after a warm shower!

Also, removing it is super painless and very effective. You are able to see the gunk and gross blackheads that have been extracted from your nose. Although there is not a noticeable change right after using it, you can rest assured that your nose is definitely cleaner and dirt-free!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Refreshing and Cleansing These pore strips leave the skin feeling really refreshed and deeply cleansed. They have a menthol type feel and really adhere to the gunk in the pores. I like to wash my face with warm water first to really open the pores up and remove oil, then firmly press the strip on the nose and keep pressing as it dries to ensure it continues to stick and that there are no air bubbles. If you remove from both sides at the same time it helps remove the blackheads better than if you just pulled it off from one side. It only loses a star because if you have sensitive skin the menthol and tea tree could sting and also the fumes could affect your eyes as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works on whiteheads This works a treat on my whiteheads but doesn't seem to attach to my blackheads. I don't have large blackheads, they are quite small, so a challenge to extract. This does take out any excess sebum and some nasty whiteheads that could turn into pimples. I like to use it after I've already done a mask or steamed my face/ after a shower. I think it's effective but perhaps for those with large blackheads. I would probably stick with the Biore self heating mask and a chemical exfoliant and only use this if I'm more congested than usual.

I steam my pores first to ensure they are open for the strips to work more effectively. I found these strips very easy to apply and use. I slowly remove them from my nose when stiff to the touch. I feel rewarded when I see what is on the strip as quite a lot gets on it that would usually be trapped in my skin. Removes most of my blackheads but not all of them. One complaint is my skin looks red after use and feels dry and tight around the nose. Overall a great product other than a couple issues.

I use these about once a fortnight, I find if I use them more frequently they're not quite as effective. I take a steaming shower first and give my face a good scrub to make sure my pores are all opened up, whack it on after my shower while my nose is still a little wet and leave it on for ten minutes! Peeling it off and seeing all the gunk that was in your skin come out on the nose strip has to be one of the most oddly satisfying things... Ever.

Its so gross seeing all those blackheads standing / sitting on the strip when its removed, but satisfying to see them gone! to see them gone when looking in the mirror is enough to make anyone smile! I only wish the effect lasted longer. I find within 2 days the black heads are back but i think that's because i have quite large pores on my nose. It's also so much better for the skin than squeezing blackheads!

They're quick and easy to use and are effective in unclogging the pores, removing impurities, dirt and black/white heads I usually use them after a shower, when my skin is clean and my pores are open from the steam To use, it's just a matter of patting the nose area thoroughly with water before applying one and then waiting about 10-15mins for the strip to harden up. To remove, gently peel from the sides towards the middle and wash any residue with lukewarm water The best part is seeing all the gunk that's been removed, leaving the nose clean and clear. These are good to use every few weeks/monthly to provide a deep cleanse. Quick, easy and effective. Deep Pore Cleansing Strips I also give these 4/5 stars as I find they are a bit expensive for what they are and as you only get 6 strips in a packet.

I would definately recommend this if you have stubborn blackheads which exfoliators won't remove

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well if used correctly I find these pore strips to be quite effective if you steam your face or apply a warm washcloth beforehand in order to open up your pores. I always love looking at what comes out onto the strip after I use it, and am always super satisfied if there is a lot on there. However, they don't actually remove blackheads, only the surfacing dirt that plugs the pores, and they do not differ from the original strips in any way. Over all, it's a great product that I have repurchased many times, and even though my blackheads are still there, it does visibly diminish the size of pores and leaves your nose feeling smooth and clean.

It's quite disgusting seeing little gunks of yellow dried up oil coming off but also rather satisfying! I would only use this about once a week at most because if you do it with too little days in a row, nothing really comes out and you've wasted a strip! I leave this on for about 20-30 min for the best effect and I also cut the strips to the size i want if I only want to use half a strip. I'd definitely recommend it because this is probably one of the best pore strips out there!

I usually leave it on for 15-20 a little longer that the packet says. Although it hurts a little when pulling it off after the time is up it does an excellent job. I have been using them for around4 months now. The very first time I used them I got amazing results, but since then I haven't got the some wonderous results but still pretty awesome results.<br /> It's great because you can literally see everything that comes off from your nose and they appear like little stagnites on the paper.<br />This is a really great product and really works hard on your skin to give fantastic results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will buy again The last time I tried pore strips was many years ago and I had the impression they weren't very effective. I heard the biore ones were quite good though so I decided to give them a go. My skin is quite congested and I really hate blackheads as they are so hard to get rid of. The strips seemed to draw the top layer of stuff from the pore and loosened the rest of the gunk, which was easily removed by gentle squeezing the next day. They seemed to work really well on my mum's nose, but I think that's because she never scrubs or masks like I do. I've since run out so definitely need to buy some more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DIRT OFF YOU GO! Okay so the first time I used this, i was afraid. It was my first time using it and my nose is quite sensitive. But it turned out great, didn't hurt at all! After 5-10 minutes, the nasties and gunk were peeled away but I could still see some remaining but that's only because I have heaps of blackheads! It's also really fun to see all the dirt and blackheads that has been peeled off.<br />This is such a great product to follow after a daily cleansing, exfoliating and facial mask routine. I've noticed it works much better after a facial mask as your pores are still open. A must have for any girl!
