General Information

Biore Pack Ultra 6


The only thing worse than your typical blackhead is a stubborn one. Bioré® Ultra deep cleansing pore strips offer maximum pore cleansing power to combat difficult pore-clogging dirt and oil around the nose area. Formulated with tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel to cool the skin so you feel it working. Custom fit to reach dirt and oil in those hard to reach areas. Helps reduce the appearance of pores with regular use. For best results, do not use more often than once every three days. Dermatologically tested, hypo-allergenic.

Directions

Remove strip from pouch. Twist strip to loosen and separate slits prior to use. After cleansing your face, thoroughly wet nose. The strip won’t stick if skin is dry. Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth sides down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin. Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch – like papier-mâché. Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward centre. See the results on the back of the strip!!!
Rated 3 out of 5 by from disppointed I have always used the original ones with great results. I recently bought this one thinking it might be better but I was mistaken! This did nothing for me, didn't even remove my whiteheads properly let alone the blackheads. Plus, it says on the back of the box that it removes more dirt than the original just because the strip is longer, not because of a new formulation that's more effective or anything. It should probably have said that in front. I will go back to the original one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works... but not always Firstly, these are the only brand of pore strips I've bought that actually worked. I bought another brand that shall remain unnamed but they did nothing. The first time I used these I was super impressed - I could actually see all the gunk that had been pulled out. The more I used these, the less impressed I was. They still pulled out some gunk, but LESS than the first time. And no, this isn't because my pores are less blocked, because they visibly are. I think these are effective in pulling out blackheads that are really at the surface of the skin, and not those that are really deeply embedded. I will still use these, but they aren't the solution to blackhead problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works....to an extent I have an annoying blackhead on the side of my nose that has been there for months and refuses to go away; even after being picked, scrubbed and steam facial-ed! So I decided to give these strips a go. First off, the Ultra strip is a lot better than the original as it is a tad longer and I can easily mold it to the shape of my nose. It works to a certain extent. While it did pick up a bit of dirt and grime in my nose (certainly more than I thought I had!) it did nothing to minimise my pores...and after 5 strips, I still have that annoying blackhead!! What I did love, like the combo strips, was the clean tingly feeling you get after you've torn the stip off, as well as how smooth your nose (and face) feel afterwards. So while I will use them again, I am a little disappointed that it doesn't minimise pores or get rid of blackheads in odd places.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average. It's very easy to use, just stick it on, wait and peal! For some reason, a lot of my blackheads stay but I do find my other pores are cleared (some light coloured yellow gunk.. YUCK!) but a lot of the black spots stay... not sure if the yellow stuff are blackheads? It's good for sensitive skin, won't make it react, irritate it or explode into red. The lady that recommended it to me told me to put my face over some very very hot water so the steam opens up my pores, or after a hot shower or even just after wiping down my face with a warm cloth. She warned me that dry skin would just waste the strip because it wouldn't be as effective.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pore strips When I first used these strips, I was completely amazed at the amount of gunk that came out of my recently cleansed pores. They worked wonders. Unfortunately, though, the next day I broke out in heaps of small pimples all over my nose. I think it was excess dirt coming to the surface of the pores as a result of the strips, but I wasn't a pretty look for a few days afterwards.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Biore pore strips Quite a good product but make sure you leave it on for the required amount of time, maybe a bit more, but definitely no less. If you leave it on for less it leaves a glue like residue on your nose and doesn't work. Make sure it is completely dry.

This product is really good in removing whiteheads/blackheads andany other unwanted gunks on your nose...but unfortunately, my pores gets bigger and now there's no skincare that will help to shrink it even using pore shrinking products doesn't help..too good to be true,even using this product twice a week,, still made my ppores bigger.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pricey I like this product because it is great for removing blackheads but I feel that it is over priced and that is why I give it 2 stars.<br />To charge $10 for three pieces of paper is a bit much. Maybe if they included a few more strips in the pack then it would be more value for money otherwise I can't really justify speding so much on three cleansing strips.<br />I even watched a youtube video recently of a do it yourself recipe to create cleansing strips at home which works wonders! I definitely will not be purchasing this product again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original strips I was a bit disappointed by this product, since I had a great experience with the 'original' strips. It stung [my skin, and to a lesser degree, my eyes!] a little whilst wearing it, and didn't remove many/most of my blackheads Next time I'll definitely be returning to the Biore Deep Cleansing Original Pore Strips instead. It provided much better [amazing!] results and on another small plus, is slightly cheaper, if only by 50 cents. :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan I used these strips about 4 times (over a few weeks), and every time i'm just not getting any results. I even tried putting a warm face washer on my nose before hand.<br />I followed the directions, wet my nose and left the strip on for 10-15 mins, but other than it hurting a bit on removal, there is basically none of my black heads that have been removed on the strip.<br />I'm pretty disappointed as this was suppose to be a extra strength product, and i felt it didn't even preform as a basic pore remover.
