Rated 3 out of 5 by from temperamental i sometimes enjoy using this just for the sheer joy of seeing all that gunk on the strip, but it has a tendency to work brilliantly one time and poorly the next. it also leaves my skin red for a day or so.

I remember using them years ago and they were reeeeaaaally effective - grabbing every little blackhead out. They're still pretty good, but they just don't seem to get out as many blackheads as they used to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Some Improvement My blackheads are tiny, but there are many. You wet your nose, and then place the strip over the area and wait till it dries. Once dry, peeling it off slowly (it does hurt, but nothing unbearable) will reveal tiny little black dots on the used strip. However my nose didn't appear MUCH different, minus a few blackheads but not enough to make this product a must have for me. It also left my nose a bit red and raw, but that soon cleared up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Euuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwww! These strips certainly don't leave much to the imagination! I don't really enjoy the feeling of them on and my skins tends to feel a little irritated when I use them, however, it certainly seems to do the job of getting the muck out of my pores! I like to finish off with a glycolic lotion or something similar to decrease risk of infection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from just like in the movies! pretty funny the minute you apply these on, you feel like an awkward teenager (not that i'm not already one). it goes hard like paper mache when its ready to peel off, and you have to peel slowly to get the most out of your pores. it is a bit painful but it's worth if for all you porexics out there! it leaves the dried glue residue on you afterwards. other than that, its pretty good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No better than the other biore strips Bought these from my local pharmacy in hopes of getting gunk and blackheads off my nose. Worked the first time I tried it, but as time went on, it stopped being effective and I would not see anything on the strips. Either my nose stopped making blackheads, or they changed the formula. They're too expensive to be ineffective so definitely would not be buying them again as they don't do anything and are a waste of money.

Before using I went and opened my pores using steam because I heard this was the best way to get optimal results. I applied the nice shaped and size strip to my nose. I sat with it gross wet strip on my nose for about 15mins until it dried, it didn't properly adhere to the side of my nose. After peeling it off , i really had a minimal stuff come off. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to use I've used these a couple of times and each time, I have followed the instructions to the letter , yet I find the strips incredibly painful to remove. They dry so quickly and completely, I have almost felt like I'm about to tear my skin and I need to re-wet them thoroughly to get them off. I've experienced the same with both the nose and forehead strips. And they didn't appear to pull out any blackheads or stuff from clogged pores (maybe my skin is already pretty good). My husband uses them, and thinks they are terrific! He doesn't find them as painful and you can see the stuff that's been pulled out of his pores, so he finds the strips very effective and will use them about once a month.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great for the right skin type. Really I think I have completely the wrong skin type for these strips. Even on my oiliest skin days I couldn't remove these properly. They do remove blackheads, but only those that could be just as easily removed by exfoliating in my case. I sometimes have an allergy to bandaids and got a similar reaction to these strips on my chin and forehead, but as I said I think that's more an individual issue as I know most people find these fantastic. They're pretty pricey too and awkward shapes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from just a gimmick I don't think these really do what they claim and therefore are not worht the money.They use an ingredient that draws out oil/blackheads from pores like magnaplasm was used to draw out splinters.It only gets out the top of some of the blackeads and doesnt get them all.The blackheads will return.It is also drying and irritatating on the skin and will probablu cause more oil production to compensate.I wish they worked and I have used them a few times since they were invented but I don't think they do.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A really good gimick I've used these strips on and off for years - essentially since they came out.<br />whilst the idea behind ripping all the gunk out of the pores in one hit is a noble one, we forget that there is an open hole left behind that is inevitably going to refill.<br />I find the only way to get rid of black heads properly is with an excruciatingly rigid skin care routine.<br />My other issue with these is that for my skin, i find the sticky too strong and i end up with skin lifting with the strip at the side of my nose just below the inside eye.<br />i will admit to still having used them in the recent past but now only ever for a really hard to move blackhead to give me a head start on it and i always trim the sides off so it doesn't actually sit on my face, only my nose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Biore Pore I have been using these biore packs from time to time since they came out about 15 years ago. The strips are easy to apply, just wet the nose and apply the strip but for better coverage and sticking capacity I find if you slightly dampen the strip itself with some water it will stick entirely to you nose or chin region much better. In my opinion they don't take off much pimples white or black. I just used my last one in the pack right now and it took more little hairs off my nose then it did pimples.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gimmick item These strips prey on a misconception about our 'blackheads' and/or large pores on the nose. These are not blackheads - they are called "sebaceous filaments". These strips are not the way to get rid of them... as you will all know, after using these pore strips, the nose goes back to normal immediately and the pores fill back up with the sebaceous filaments. Pore strips are fun to use and satisfying to look at after ripping them off, I admit. But they are not worth our money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for sensitive skin I purchsed a packet of 14 strips (7 specifically for the nose) as I had heard really good things about them. I followed the very clear instructions and used a strip on my chin nose and top of my t-zone. I waited until they dried and felt like paper mache, as directed, and then slowly peeled each one off. As I did this I felt a slight pain, like a tearing feeling! and saw small amounts of gunk be pulled out of of my pores. What was left was stripped, red, sticky skin. My skin stayed red and sore for about an hour. even tho it appeared that gunk was removed from my pores, my skins apprearance and blackheads remained the same. I applied a cold compress and my skin returned to normal after 2 hours!<br />I will not be using any more strips as the process hurt and was ineffective for my sensitive skin. I used another one , but still not working , so annoy , so bad make me so angry , waste my money . should avoid it
