Rated 5 out of 5 by from IDEAL FOR OILY SKIN I have also used this product - I found it gave me a deeper clean to the Cetaphil "Gentle Cleansing Wash" - this may be due to the fact it is targeted at oilyier skin types. I used this cleanser more during the evenings for make-up removal. Does not contain fragrance so is great for my sensitive skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My HG cleanser I've beeen using this for almost a year now and my skin has improved dramatically. I have less breakouts and the amount of oil my skin produces has decreased. This cleanser is a clear gel that slightly foams but doesn't lather. It takes a good two washes if I have heavy makeup on or otherwise just one wash to get my everyday makeup off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lives up to the hype I don't really have oily skin - it's more combination - but I started using this a while back when I ran out of my own cleansers (my teenage daughter has a giant bottle of it with a pump). I had intended to just use it for a day or two until I could get to the shops and buy some more of my own stuff, but I ended up really getting into it.<br />This is a lathering cleanser with no fragrance. It removes makeup reasonably well (I either double cleanse with this or use an oil cleanser first and then follow up with the Cetaphil cleanser) and it doesn't make my skin feel dry or tight after using, like many oily skin cleansers can.<br />Aside from that, it's an awesome price, easily available and you can buy it with a pump for less mess and waste. I can't believe I've spent 30 odd years looking for Holy Grail cleansers and one was right under my nose in the bathroom. I will definitely repurchase this again and again, and it has also tempted me to try other Cetaphil products. Two thumbs up!

It removes makeup really well and does not leave a residue on my skin It lasts a really long time and is great as it comes in a pump container (which helps to control how much you use each time). I have used this product on and off for about 4 years now and even though I might try different cleaners for a change I will always revert back to this one.

After cleansing, my skin is refreshed and there is no residue. I use this with an exfoliant and my skin hasn't looked this good in a long time!

Even after one wash, I noticed his acne appeared much better and his T zone didn't feel greasy but not dried out either. Since then, it has been working really well. If a teenage boy can use it without complaining, it must be easy to use as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't live without this product! (That's not an overstatement!) If I had to pick one beauty product I can't live without, this cleanser is it hands down. It is the only cleanser for oily skin that has genuinely reduced my skin's oiliness. I have been using this cleanser since it first launched and haven't looked back since. If you have always had problems finding an excellent cleanser for your oily skin-this is your holy grail! Believe me, I have tried them all and this is simply the best! I was blown away at how much my skin's oiliness reduced after using this product for only a couple of days. Talk about amazing value for money, this cleanser is an instant standout product. Do your oily skin a favour and buy it now and reap the rewards!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous product for oilier skin types! I tried this cleanser after sampling a number of different acne washes which were supposedly 'gentle'. I completely agree that it effectively removes dirt, oil and keeps pimples at bay but is best for oilier skin types. I have combination/sensitive skin and really liked this product but my skin became too dry after a few weeks' use. Would definitely repurchase this to use as a make up remover followed by the Gentle Skin Cleanser.

After I have my daughter and used QV range. I found Cetaphil had range for face care. I like the cleanser does gentle cleaning and not dried the skin like the usual soap does. I found that Clinique soap sometimes does dry out skin.

It's a decent size, and dispenses the right amount. It seems to be really gentle on the skin so far, but it still effectively cleans. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cleanses well, isn't harsh Cetaphil oily skin cleanser is good for the skin. It removes dirt and make-up well. It is smooth to apply. It doesn't dry out the skin. I wet the skin first and rubbed it in and then rinsed. It doesn't contain soap. It comes in a 500ml pump bottle which lasts a while.

I like that it's for oily skin but it's not harsh at all. It's a clear cleanser that foams up very mildly and cleans my skin really well without leaving it feeling tight or dry. I sometimes like to use it with my Clarisonic for a deep clean. It gets rid of any excess oil on my face but it doesn't necessarily improve the blemishes on my face. It's a good price considering the size. When it comes to removing I don't really use this cleanser as I find it doesn't do a good job of removing anything. It's more of a cleanser I use after I've washed my face.

All I do is wash my face and then apply a light moisturizer then my makeup and I get no dry patches. It has really helped control my oily and combination skin which makes me a happy customer. I have tried a lot of face washes but this one always stands out to me and is a real winner.

I find that it is far more gentle than most other brand name cleansers and it does help to keep my oily skin at bay.<br />The only issue is the fragrance. It has a mild fragrance however those who are sensitive to fragrances my find this product a bit triggering as the scent can be a bit overpowering, kinda like baby oil. Other than that, this product is just really gentle and effective for just a daily cleanser.

My skin is very sensitive and at the time I had a very raised rash due to an allergic reation to another cleanser. She suggested this one. It is a nice product, doesn't foam up very much but does the job. It doesn't have any fragrance and leaves skin clean and fresh. The only downside is I personally like a bit of fragrance and this just doesn't have any but it's perfect for use when my skin has flared up.
