QV Gentle Wash is a soap-free gentle cleanser suitable for the face and body.

Re-hydrates dry skin.
Cleanse your skin without leaving it dry and tight with soap free QV Gentle Wash. Specially prepared for dry or sensitive skin, the innovative formulation maintains skin hydration during cleansing to ensure the skin is left clean and soft - not dry and tight.

QV Gentle Wash is suitable for conditions such as eczema. dermatitis and psoriasis.
Non-drying formulation.
Fragrance free.
Propylene glycol free.
Dermatologically tested.
Non-comedogenic - won't block pores.
pH balanced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to QV Gentle Wash several years ago by my local pharmacist when post menopausal my skin which has always been sensitive became extremely dry dehydrated and reactive to everything. I developed atopic dermatitis on my hands which as an acute care nurse was a disaster and I needed to take leave to allow my hands to recover. I started using the Gentle Wash as a hand and body wash and QV Cream as a hand and body moisturiser.on the advise of my pharmacist. My GP also advised I continue using QV exclusively while I waited for a dermatologist appointment. By the time a saw a dermatologist my skin was completely recovered and she also advised I use QV exclusively. and introduced me the the rest of the QV range. I have a pump bottle of QV Gentle Wash in my shower at each sink and carry a small bottle in my scrubs. The wash is so silky and lathers beautifully being a pleasure to use. My skin is left feeling clean, hydrated and never tight or dry. I even carry a little travel bottle in my bag to use when I’m out as even one hand wash with standard soaps can cause my atopic dermatitis to flare. Love this wash, beautiful cosmetically elegant at an affordable price and readily available at every pharmacy and online.

It keeps my skin soft and hydrated, and because I couldn't use shampoo either, I use it to wash my hair. I take it camping, and use the small bottle for travelling and that doesn't need to be refilled for aabout a week. So I highly recommend this product.

Keeps the PH of the skin closer to 5.5 rather than other washes that can tend to be more alkaline and cause irritation to the skin. The higher content of glycerol aids in skin re-hydration and restoration of the barrier function.

It lathers well providing a very silky soft product that glides effortlessly over the skin. Hubby has extremely dry, sensitive skin which requires day to day management. This wash is definitely a good soap alternative for him. He appreciates that this wash keeps his skin soft and non-irritated whereas if he uses normal soap his skin is dry and itchy. The QV Gentle Wash thoroughly cleans while at the same time provides a barrier to stop the skin from further drying out. This wash, combined with the QV Skin Lotion which is applied immediately after his shower, keeps his skin well moisturised and helps to maintain his intense itchy skin at a manageable level.

It has never caused my eczema to flare up and it's both gentle enough to not strip your skin while also giving you a satisfying cleanse. Extra thick and nourishing feel and my hands and nails are doing fine. They are remaining in good shape thanks to this product. Will definitely make this my permanent handwash.
