I have very thick dry hair with oily roots and find that most hair products don’t work for me as my hair becomes oily quickly and feels weighed down. The finishing crème is perfect for keeping the frizz at bay, and it doesn’t leave your hair feeling heavy but tames the flyaways and smooths your hair out completely. It is lightweight, gives your hair the most incredible shine and smells fantastic. I’ll definitely continue to buy this product as it has changed the way I manage my hair. My hair now looks incredible every single day with minimal effort. Received product for impartial review. Opinions expressed are my own.

So when I was invited to trial some of their new products from the Frizz Ease range, it was a given. Firstly, Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Finishing Creme is a must leaving hair silky , smooth and free of flyaways or static. It is applied to dry hair and a must in the hand bag. Secondly, Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Leave in Conditioner, nit only smells amazing but is the perfect detangler specially formulated with a blend of vitamins as well as green tea extract and hydrating ingredients to nourish dry hair and protect against heat styling and sun damage. I used both products on my daughter's hair which is thick, frizzy and unmanageable, and was able to comb through the knots with ease. Highly recommend these products especially being so affordable. This product was gifted to me to try for my honest review, whether positive or negative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a dry style solution where you can apply directly to your hair and leave it in throughout the day, so I was super excited to try out this new approach. The product did not disappoint! When I opened the bottle, it had a really nice fragrant smell and fresh smell, texture was not too thick or "oily". One of the reservations I had with using a product like this was for my hair to feel oily and heavy throughout the day. It was the complete opposite! My hair had a beautiful shine to it, very soft and I could still run my hand through my hair without oily afterwards. But most importantly, the hair stayed straight on a super windy day! You only need a small amount to achieve the results and I didn't feel the need to reapply during the day. Super easy to use and super quick to apply which was very important as I didn't want to take up a lot of time in the morning or during the day to maintain. Best of all, I received a lot of compliments from my work friends on the hair! Quite a few people thought I had taken a haircut and all I had used was the creme. Highly recommended for anyone to try, even once, as honestly wasn't anything I had expected in a very good way! I received this product as a gift for my honest review.

I have big layered hair which is long and sadly WAS all split and frizzing and gross in the ends… until I used this- this is incredible- I use it on both my dry and on occasion I apply it when I’ve just stepped out of the shower after washing my haystack masquerading as hair- which is now properly styled and looks normal!!! 10/10.

But as a mum of 3, including a new baby, the time I have for actually doing my hair is little to none on the daily. Therefore, the product needs to have its effects for a few days. John Frieda Styling Crème does just that. I have a lot of hair loss and breakage since having my baby which means I have lots of flu aways and frizz. This crème gives my hair a smooth appearance and touch more than my regular hair oil. And best of all, it lasts! I thought. It might make my hair and scalp oily after a day or two, but I was impressed to get 4-5days worth of nice hair before washing.
