I felt a little was wasted by this style of packaging as it was not as easy to get all the product out. Very moisturising and feels nice on the lips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It really does its job! A nice elderly lady at Priceline tipped me to try carmex lip balm when i found the pawpaw lip balm out of stock. She swore it was the best, and she was right! After overnight application on my lips, my cracked lips stopped hurting. It had a nice tingling cool sensation on my lips which seemed to last throughout the night. 2 days of continuous application, and my lips were soft and smooth. I just wish the lipstick click version is available here in Australia, which would make application easier and more hygienic since i can apply the balm directly on my lips without using my finger.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from staple lip balm I am so glad that Carmex produce the famous lip blame in a squeeze tube. The product itself is amazing and helps to restore my dry lips during winter. It has that minty cool feeling when you first put it on, but after a while, it sorta wear off. I like the fact that it is in a squeeze tube, so you can just squeeze a small amount and put on to your lips, rather putting a while finger into the pot. I found the tube is easier to use and less messy.

Since the harsh Winter months have approached us lately I have stocked up on a few of my trusty Carmex products, but this is one I have been using for the first time, even though it has been around for quite a long time, with the mixed reviews I wasn't sure if I should buy it, but then I thought hey why not try it for myself and make up my own opinion of it. So far I have been using it in the morning when I wake up after cleansing and moisturising my face ready for the day ahead. The formula glides on super smoothly and the tingling sensation is quite strange but not unpleasant. I actually quite like the sensation of the tingle most when I am outside and it is a little windy. I find that is works effectively in protecting my lips from the harsh cold wind and keeps them from drying and flaking. So far, I'm quite happy and have had no dramas with this product.

I never went anywhere without a tube of Carmex.<br />This is so soothing and hydrating for severely dry lips, has a lovely texture and leaves lips feeling soft and smooth. I love the slightly tingly feeling it has as well. Bargain price for a brilliant product.

Again, the main down fall is the taste of the product but the results are infallible!!! I have found this is a little more moisturising opposed to the pot!!!!!

Afterwards I started seeing massive full page ads in my magazines. Must have been oblivious but boy was I missing out. The product is a very nourishing, non-sticky lip balm that tingles upon application. Very smooth texture that leaves lips feeling nourished beyond belief. The smell is not unpleasant but at the same time doesn't smell like roses either. It's more of a natural smelling product. Big bonus is the easy squeeze tube which means no mess and quick easy application. Will definately be using this from now on as my lips feel the best they have in quite some time.

At first I loved it, the lack of scent and easy application got me and I very quickly became addicted to using it. Once I started, I couldnt stop. At first I thought it was healing my lips but I noticed them getting drier and drier when I started going for periods without using this! I hope it is just me having this effect. I love the way it feels on my lips but dont think I would go back to using this everyda. Stick form is a lot easier to use than the tube however the tube is great for attaching to key rings etc

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works wonders This carmex lip balm is a classic. I am not a fan of the taste it leaves on my lips but when I have chapped lips it definitely does the job. I like that it comes in a really easy to use squeeze tube.If my lips are feeling dry I will apply it on to my lips before I go to bed and it works its wonder over night without fail. I would recommend this lip balm for anyone suffering with dry lips.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but greasy I really like this lip balm. The distinctive packaging makes it very easy to find this balm, even if it is at the bottom of the dark inside of my handbag. I also enjoy tube lip balms, as it is far more hygienic than putting fingers in a pot. The tube also lasts a very long time. This lip balm gives a cooling effect to my lips because of the menthol and camphor. It has a medicinal scent rather than typical flavoured lip balms, but you can get used to it quickly, and it is not bad. I used to have some tubes of this in the strawberry flavour, which I recall was better than the classic carmex. The thing I don’t like about this lipbalm is the main ingredient is petrolatum. I much prefer lipbalms with natural ingredients. The petrolatum is the main ingredient in Vaseline, and so this balm leaves a greasy feeling similar to Vaseline on the lips. My other complaint would be that it can be hard to squeeze out of the tube in winter.

This lip balm is also very pepperminty and leaves my lips feeling numb. Would not repurchase - i'm not a fan of other Carmex lip balms either.

It has a pleasant smell and good consistency. I don't experience any tinglng - so I suppose it is an individual thing.

I got this because I ran out of my click stick and it was the only one they had at the chemist I went to (was in a can't be bothered mood).<br />I have to apply this more often then the click stick, and it does make my lips drier. I can't tell if it has the normal Carmex tingly feeling, but I definitely will stop being lazy and get my click stick again.<br />However the gloss is nice, Its not something I usually wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, awful lid though This is a good lip balm, it lasts a long time and is good for healing chapped lips. I don't use it very often purely because I don't like the smell. The only big problem I found with this product was the packaging, the squeezy tube is great but the lid was initially almost impossible to open, I had to find pliers and opening it with heaps of force, it was then pretty difficult to open again thereafter, I'm really not sure why though. I would recommend this product.

Carmex smells great, and I love the tube and tingly feeling, but while it provides some relief for the pain of cracked lips it doesn't do a whole lot to smooth and heal. I'm sure it would be perfect for someone with less dire need!

Less is more The bdlm is easy to pop into your bag, so the size is handy.<br />My lips did tingle fairly soon after application.<br />It did plump my lips so the tingle is the price you pay I did not like the taste it tasted too chemical for me :( It does have sun protection that does work So balance up the pro's and cons & decide for yourself!

I bought it because I wanted to stop my lips from chapping at work (the air is really dry at my work due to refrigeration) The squeezie tube is really nice I found that I could easily get the product out and get as much as I needed However about 10 minutes after applying it my lips got the tingly sensation that sometimes happens if you use a plumping lip gloss or are having a reaction to the product. I have relatively sensitive skin so if you are in the same boat this is one to look out for. While the menthol can make your lips appear fuller on application but it dries them out as you continue to use it. I would recommend avoiding this one the ingredients are too harsh, I'm looking for something nourishing and gentle. Besides the tingling feeling was too much for me.
