The aloe Vera is such a refreshing scent a bit like that of cucumbers. It was absorbed well by my dry skin and really did leave it feeling soft & moisturised for many hours later. It's left my skin feeling soft and smooth without greasy residue for over 24 hours. I apply it daily in small amounts, it glides on evenly and generously even with a small amount, the texture feels like water with extra moisturization and the smell, infused with aloe vera has a calming and cooling effect which is perfect for dry or irritated skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vaseline Intensive Care aloe soothe is an amazing all over body lotion which absorbs instantly into the skin and gives out a gentle, almost floral, fresh aloe scent. I was amazed at how well the lotion absorbed into the skin, and did not leave any kind of sticky residue. I felt my skin texture improve and become silky smooth, felt an all over freshness which lasted throughout the day. Someone commented on how nice I smelt and asked if I had changed perfumes, I don't wear perfume! I am entering 40 years of age, and have recently become obsessed with anti aging products for my face, all the while neglecting my body. What I did notice, is that this product contains lactic acid, which is proven to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots, while smoothing the toning the skin, so a key winner there! And also sunflower seed oil which actually repairs the skin barrier! We all know the benefits for aloe when it comes to moisture and bacteria too. Clear winner for me!

I have tried so many over the years but in the warmer months I usually avoid using them altogether as I really dislike the greasy feeling on my skin. Vaseline Aloe Soothe absorbs immediately and has a subtle fresh scent. It's perfect for legs particularly a few days post shaving as it hydrates skin and softens stubble too!

What I love about this lotion though is that it really does live up to its promise of hydrating for 48 hours. My 50-year-old skin is usually dry and flaky, but this made a huge difference immediately. During the first week of use, I forgot to apply it one day, and my skin was still soft and hydrated the next day. Also, as an unexpected bonus from using this product, my self-tan lasted a week longer than usual.

It applied beautifully and wasn't hard to rub into the skin. When used, especially on my legs, I noticed that they were still moisturised the following day. This was a great result, as previously, my legs were incredibly dry. It's a great moisturising product. I will be using this and then purchasing a new bottle for sure.

It looks distinctively like a Vaseline product, but still shows a natural quality. It was easy to open, but sometimes a bit hard to dispense, as it has a thick consistency. It had a strong but pleasant smell, that smelled like aloe and fresh melon. The product was very easily absorbed into the skin and didn't leave any residue. The rehydration was easily seen with only a small amount used, so it would be very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this product and I would definitely get it again.
