HYDRATING DAY CREAM

Our Rosehip Hydrating Day Cream contains a powerful blend of Rosehip Oil infused with Pomegranate to help relieve dehydrated skin and fight the signs of premature ageing. With Kakadu Plum, naturally rich in Vitamin C, this rich Day Cream encourages skin radiance, while a generous blend of active botanicals will improve texture of skin and leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Day cream Sukin rosehip hydrating day cream comes in a dark brown coloured 120ml glass jar with a plastic screw top lid. I received this as a gift in conjunction with the cleanser and rosehip oil. The day cream contains rosehip oil, pomegranate and kakadu plum which is meant to be beneficial for dehydrated skin and with ageing. I applied this after using the cleanser. The cream absorbs quite well into the skin and is soothing and hydrating and nourishing, the scent was a bit too strong for me as I prefer unscented products. This is a nice product containing some good natural ingredients if it was unscented it would be perfect for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the biggest fan I had really high hopes for this moisturiser given the abundance of positive reviews, but I'm sadly a little disappointed. The scent is lovely as is the consistency. It applies well but once absorbed, my skin feels a little tight and seems to have this odd texture. I wish I knew how to explain it - kind of powdery? Some parts of my face however feel super nice, so I think the issue is that this cream seems to emphasise my drier patches rather than softening them. Not too sure what the go is here. In the products defence, I am comparing to my previous moisturiser which retails for around the $80 mark so perhaps I am not making a fair comparison here. However, I find that applying rosehip oil prior really helps!

With kakadu plum, naturally rich in vitamin c, this rich day cream encourages skin radiance, while a generous blend of active botanicals will improve texture of skin and leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated. About the product: The Sukin Rosehip Hydrating Day cream comes housed inside a pink cardboard box. The cream itself is housed inside a weighty dark brown 120ml glass jar with a black screw top lid and pink labelling. The cream itself is quite silky and creamy in texture, easy to scoop out and smooth over the face. It is white in colour and quite scented; it has a lovely floral-botanical scent. The scent does linger lightly for some time after application. Those sensitive to fragrance in skincare may want to use caution if trying this moisturiser, it is quite scented. My thoughts on the product: Unfortunately I did not enjoy using this day cream; I loved the scent of it but found it to be ill suited to my skin. I applied it after using the Essano Rosehip Oil and found it to be a bit difficult to work with; the cream would 'split' if I massaged it into my face too much and become quite greasy and oily in feel. My face looked shiny and oily, especially on the forehead and cheek area. I tried mixing the facial oil in with the moisturiser and then applying but this seemed to make the cream just coat my skin in a thick, creamy film. I did not find it to be overly hydrating at all; for me it felt quite oily and greasy after applying, for quite some time after application. After using for a couple of days I started experiencing whiteheads, multiple blackheads on my cheeks (which is very rare for me; it is a common problem for me on the nose but never the cheeks or any other facial area--until now) and breakouts around my jawline. Very disappointing, I loved using Sukin's supergreens range and thought that this one would be just as good, if not better. Sadly, for me, this moisturiser does not work well with my skin. It left my skin looking and feeling quite oily and caused my skin to become quite congested. Such a shame; I love the ingredients list and the scent of this moisturiser. I suspect the sesame seed oil is the cause of my skin's reaction and ill tolerance of this moisturiser. Rated 2 out of 5 by from A good all purpose This is a super thick face cream.I love thick creams & apply it on top of damp skin it sinks in well especially on my chest which is where I slather it. Leaves skin and moisturised no I did have a small reaction to this & don't know why.Not a fan of the jar seems unhygienic.
