Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wowsa whitening - A new era for toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, a big THANK YOU to the Beauty Heaven team for selecting me to review this great new product from Colgate - Optic White. I've been using this toothpaste for just under 4 weeks now and am very pleased with the results. A few forewarnings: I am a smoker and I do love coffee, tea and red wine too, so my teeth are probably never going to reach "optic" white status until I give these habits up. However, this has been the only commercial brand whitening/toothpaste product that I've used that has had a visible effect on my teeth's colour appearance. It's slow, it's gradual, but the change is there. I'm sure that with continued use the brightening and whitening will only continue. Taste - this new toothpaste from Colgate does have a reasonably unique flavour, apparently described as "wintergreen". Some people on the forums weren't fans of the taste, but I actually really liked it. A refreshing change from the old peppermint or spearmint. Feeling - I LOVE the way this toothpaste suds up in my mouth and I can feel a slight tingling sensation whilst brushing, it might be psychosomatic but that sensation made me feel like the product was getting to work. I have a history of sensitive teeth, and was using a sensitive specific product (also by Colgate which had actually completely turned around my sensitivity issues) prior to this trial, I did have some concerns that this product would be abrasive on the enamel and perhaps see the return of sensitivity. Luckily, this hasn't been an issue for me and I will continue to use this toothpaste unless that problem does re-occur. Lastly, a note about the packaging: another LOVE of mine of this product. The snap-top lid is ingenious and I can't understand why we haven't had lids like these on toothpaste products for years. It's so easy to open and close, but better yet, it's big flat base means it will stand up on it's own in the bathroom cabinet. No more mess oozing from the toothpaste on the cabinet shelves!! The metallic red colour of the tube sure is lovely too!

Hubby & I have both been using it several times a day for a few weeks and have both seen positive results. We are both coffee lovers and so over the years our teeth arn't as pearly white as we'd like them to be. So we were both excited for this to work! So far I have definitely noticed my teeth to be whiter and brighter! I love the packaging as the bright red holographic box is so pretty to look at & I love the design of the tube as it stands up nicely among my brushing products rather than lying down as most other toothpaste tubes do. The formula is a thick, white paste that has a nice, strong flavour without being too much. This toothpaste makes my mouth feel very refreshed & clean! The smell is just your average toothpaste smell. Nothing unusual or over the top. Because I put myself out there and make YouTube videos and love being in photos with family & friends, it is important to me that my teeth look their best. So I will continue to use this and purchase it in the future as well as recommend it to my family & friends as I think they would be interested to know about this great new product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colgate Optic White is an opaque white creamy toothpaste which is housed in a sturdy red foil tube with a flip top lid. I brush my teeth twice a day, sometimes three times a day, and after three or so weeks of continually using Colgate Optic White, my teeth has been looking a tad brighter and whiter than before! I was really surprised as to how effective the hydrogen peroxide acts to improve the whiteness of my teeth. The toothpaste contains only 1%, so as a bleaching agent it works effectively with great results in the long run. Within the first couple of weeks, I did not notice any improvement in the tone of my teeth, though in terms of cleanliness and freshness and I was very happy with those aspects. The freshness and minty feeling was more subtle than regular toothpaste, however, I really like the fact that my mouth/teeth felt fresher for longer compared to regular toothpaste. When I reached the third week of using Colgate Optic White, I noticed that my teeth looked slightly whiter and brighter than usual. It was an amazing feeling, being able to notice the change before my eyes. It was not a dramatic change, but the great thing was that I noticed the difference and could see the change. Using Colgate Optic White means that I don't need to visit my local dentist to have my teeth bleached! Yay! I am very satisfied with the results and I am more than happy to purchase Colgate Optic White once my current one runs dry! At only $7.99 for toothpaste that makes my teeth look whiter, I sure wouldn't hesitate to pick this one up in the supermarket!

Boy was I wrong. This toothpaste is amazing! My teeth are definately at least 3 shades whiter. I love the striking red tube, it's easy to spot in my cupboard and the flip top lid makes for mess-free and easy dispensing of the toothpaste. I did find the taste a little hard to get used to as its got a funny taste to it, not a bad taste. Just not a taste I wikde associate with a toothpaste. However after religiously using this toothpaste, morning and night for well over 2 weeks I can see a remarkable difference in the colour of my teeth. They're whiter and more cleaner in general. I will definately be repurchasing this toothpaste and incorporating it into my routine permanently.

After 4 weeks of use my teeth are noticeably much whiter despite continuing with my once daily coffee routine. My teeth and mouth felt super clean after brushing for two minutes morning and night. This product has very easily replaced my regular toothpaste and I would absolutely repurchase this product in the future.

I don't drink red wine or smoke but I do enjoy coffee and I think that's where part of my problem lies. So I got optic white as part of the trial team and stopped using my regular white glo. My four front top teeth were always white but when you move to the canines, they were noticeably yellow-er. After using this product for about three weeks, I can honestly say that the shade of my canines and my front teeth are looking more on par. In fact, after I brush my teeth I sometimes go over to my fiancé and go 'it's whiter isn't it?' To which he agrees. I would definitely buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was so lucky to be part of the trail team to try colgate optic white toothpaste. it comes in a red tube shape that can place be placed any where in ur bathroom. i started using it twice a day and sometimes 3 times ( after my meals) and for my surprise i started to see results from the second week! its easy and simple to use like any other normal toothpaste. i definitely gave it 5 stars cause its worth it. the price is cheap compared to the results u will obtain.

More so than other whitening toothpastes on the market. Great product for a busy mum to pre-schoolers like myself, with all great intentions I have purchased gel pens/mouth guards etc but never have time to use them! Colgate Optic White does taste different to the usual mint flavoured toothpaste, I would liken it to chewing on a quickeeze antacid tablet actually! And less foaming, but easy adjustment.

This toothpaste has visibly maintained those treatments even though I drink coffee and soft drinks daily. This product 100% produces visible results. Although I have to say even though it’s my go to toothpaste they could definitely work on improving the taste of it, hence why I couldn’t give it the full 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased many toothpaste claiming to whiten your teeth but they never seemed worked. Colgate Optic White was more a true specific toothpaste to target whitening which did see results over time. Initially I didn't see results until a few weeks later, even as coffee drinker I was doubtful but the paste did work. I'll be happy to add this to my shopping list as both my partner and I did enjoy using it. The taste and sensation while brushing is different to other brands I have tried but it doesn't take long to get use to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using Colgate Optic White Sparkling Teeth Whitening Toothpaste, my teeth have never been whiter. I noticed a difference after the first few days and after 4 weeks, they are so much whiter. I drink a lot of coffee and since using the toothpaste, I have noticed the coffee isn't staining like it use to. The only negative thing for me was the taste, I didn't really like it but that is a completely personal thing.

No issues with caps or crowns, felt like it was cleaning better in the hard to reach places. Colgate Optic White Sparkling White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste is the first time I have used anything other than basic toothpaste. The product had a pleasant taste and like all toothpaste was easy to use. I feel like there was an improvement in the whiteness of my teeth over the 4 week trial period. Would I buy this regularly, possibly it would depend on the price of the product. I’m happy using normal regular toothpaste and wouldn’t spend a lot extra just to have slightly whiter teeth. If you are the type of person that would pay for teeth whitening at the dentist, I would use this product for awhile first, to see if it makes a difference to your teeth. Continued use of this product would probably achieve the same type of result but it would be a gradual process and would be a cheaper process overall.

If you are looking for more long term whiter teeth with protection against re-staining than this toothpaste definitely ticks those boxes. It has a pleasant minty fresh taste. It takes a while to really notice the difference but after 4 weeks of use my teeth look whiter and have stayed at a colour I am happy with. They look natural.So if you can get and keep your teeth white just by brushing your teeth I think it's worth it.

Whilst I found my teeth slightly whiter my family couldn't really tell a difference. Maybe as I just need to continue it for longer. My teeth felt smooth, fresh and clean after every wash. The only downside for me, was that I found that after eating apples and oranges for example, my teeth felt a little sensitive. It could be that the acids from the fruit were reaching onto my teeth surface more than other types of toothpaste. I will continue to finish off this tube but uncertain if I'll purchase again.

We enjoyed the flavour, which was a little different from other toothpastes and thought that it did make our teeth a bit whiter. Having said that, it’s really difficult to judge what your teeth look like, whether they are getting lighter or not, when you don’t have anything to compare it to - it would have been good to have a colour chart to compare a before and after to. We also found that we definitely did need to rinse our mouths out after brushing because a yucky residue was left behind. Depending on price, we will repurchase.

Firstly, the big claim of 3 shades whiter teeth was close - I visibly noticed that my teeth was at least a shade whiter than before starting. It has a strong minty flavour that was not to complain about. What I did notice was the toothpaste's stain removal capabilities and how well it removed them. Constant use is it's only downfall - i often found myself going out of my way to clean my teeth - The price you pay for white shiny pearls!
