Directions for use:

Rated 4 out of 5 by from my current toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for the past three months and I've come to fall in love with it. It took me about a fortnight to get used to the taste, it didn't seem minty to me at first but now it does. Strange, I know. This is probably the most pricey toothpaste I've used besides from Sensodyne. I did notice my teeth go a shade lighter approx 2 - 4 weeks of use but now it seems it hasn't done much else. Maybe I just don't notice it anymore. My teeth are definitely whiter than they were when I was using a different toothpaste. I have grown to love the taste and pleased with what it does so I plan to keep repurchasing until something better comes along.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with the results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to receive this in my BIB 2013 prize pack and was a little sceptical about the claims of whitening teeth after 4 weeks. I have some staining that cannot be removed from whitening products. However I was keen to give this a go. I have now been using it twice a day for 4 weeks and I can report that my teeth look brighter but not necessarily whiter. I am quite thrilled with this as even brighter teeth is a huge bonus. I will be interested to see if there are even better results when I finish the tube which probably will be several more weeks. If it continues to deliver then I would definitely repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this tooth paste on and off for nearly six months now. I was initially attracted to the product by the bright red packaging, and handy flip top tube, but I have continued to re-purchase because I really like the product and its whitening effect. I find that this toothpaste tastes a bit different to a regular minty toothpaste, but not unpleasantly so. I also feel like this doesn't foam up in my mouth as much as some other toothpastes do but it still leaves my teeth feeling clean after a good brushing which is the main thing for me. This product has the added bonus of whitening my teeth, without leaving them feeling sensitive. The difference in the colour of my teeth was noticeable after regular use (day and night for a period of weeks). I can't say that the difference was dramatic, but I wasn't expecting the tooth paste to be as effective as a full on whitening treatment. I do alternate a tube of this with a tube of something else so that my teeth don't get used to the product. I will still keep re-purchasing this product to assist with keeping my teeth as white as possible over the long term.

There's nothing better than looking in the mirror and seeing a smile full of pearly white teeth shining back at you! Most whitening toothpastes I have used in the past don't tend to get rid of the stains that too much red wine has left behind hehe! This toothpaste however, does exactly what it promises.. It's left me with whiter teeth and i couldn't be happier :)! A must buy!! But remember, patience is a virtue, consistency pays off :)!

It definitely stands out on your beauty counter and in comparison to any other toothpaste. The first thing I noticed when I went to use this toothpaste is that when you first open the packaging a lot of air can be squeezed out before you get to the product itself- giving the illusion to the consumer that there is a lot more product in the tube. Non the less I'm sure the product goes by weight, and you do end up getting your monies worth as you need the tiniest bit of toothpaste! And I mean smaller than a pea sized amount for a total super duper clean mouth. The taste of this toothpaste is very minty- but not overpowering. And I would say since use my teeth have whitened about 1-2 shades, but nothing overly dramatic. I enjoy using this toothpaste for the superior clean it gives, the whitening is just a bonus!

I bought this because it was on a great special and didn't really think it would necessarily work so I was in for a pleasant surprise. I would prefer it to have a stronger taste - I like my toothpaste to make me feel like it "freshens" my mouth/breath more than this one does but hey - it does what is says it will - my pearly whites are slightly more white than pearly now :) Overall I'm happy and will persist and hope for even better results - I always love Colgate

It is quite costly compared to some other toothpastes that claim to whiten teeth, but I believe it better than most others. The first thing I noticed after using this toothpaste, was how incredibly clean my teeth felt. It really felt like all buildup (yuck..) was gone. My teeth felt smooth and super clean. I think it really provides a superior clean. I do believe it slightly whitens my teeth, but nothing incredible. Whilst using this toothpaste, I believe my teeth look brighter but I'm not sure I would say it ever made my teeth 3 shades whiter. Slightly whiter? Yes. Overall, I love this toothpaste for the super clean feeling it provides. The slight whitening is an added bonus, but isn't a stand out aspect of this toothpaste. If you want a superior clean - try the Colgate Optic White toothpaste. Don't expect it to significantly whiten your teeth though.

The important ingredient to achieve this is Hydrogen Peroxide. There is a concentration of 1% in this toothpaste. Although a low amount, it is known to still benefit the teeth, whilst being gentle and less likely to cause sensitivity. I love the look of the 110g tube of toothpaste. It is a striking red packaging, which is a stand out look, compared to most toothpastes. The product is simply extracted, via a flip top lid that is easy to open and close, I don't have a problem holding the brush in one hand, and controlling the tube in the other. The toothpaste is white in colour. I just squeeze a small amount onto my electric toothpaste, brushing twice a day, for 2 minutes each application (as per instructions). The taste is quite strong, however I didn't find it unpleasant. I was actually expecting worse, due to the Hydrogen Peroxide content. In no time, I have gotten used to the taste. I took photos before I commenced use of the toothpaste, and looking at them, my teeth have lightened. Now, I have terrible yellowed teeth, so I expected that my teeth were going to take longer than the 4 weeks to whiten. I wouldn't say that my teeth have lightened 3 shades in this time frame. However, there is a noticeable change. For a whitening product, I think $7.99 is very reasonable. It is worth taking a chance with Colgate Optic White, as I'll certainly be buying again!

I find that it almost feels warm when you first start brushing your teeth - must be the active ingredients! I feel that it has lifted my teeth probably three shades, they are definitely no longer dull. they are now an off white colour. i would continue using this toothpaste as a maintenance paste in addition to getting 'proper' whitening treatments.

After the first 3 or so days, I noticed a fairly big difference in the whiteness of my teeth. They weren't too yellow to begin with, but I definitely noticed that they were more white. Since the first week there hasn't been a great improvement in the whiteness of my teeth, but it is good to keep them topped up. I feel that this is not as strong as some other products and they leave my teeth with a tiny bit of sensitivity. If you want super-white teeth, I would suggest using a treatment.

I purchased this from a positive review by LaurenBeautyy on one of her youtube videos. As I don't trust tooth whitening that is not do by a dentist. Currently I have not noticed any change in the colour of my teeth but I have noticed that my teeth do look more brighter (in terms of glow/shine). I am really hoping that in another month or two that I start to see a change in the colour of my teeth, I think it may take a little while as I am a coffee drinker and my teeth do end up staining easily.

I've been really happy with this product, for just a toothpaste it has made my teeth a few shades whiter, removed the yellow I had and brightened my teeth up, I haven't experienced any sensitivity in the last month at all, and I will definitely re-purchase this product. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with very stained or discoloured teeth because I don't think it would be strong enough to whiten bad stains. Overall very happy!

It does whiten teeth but with only 1% peroxide it doesnt produce rapid results. It does make my teeth look & feel shiny & clean with a really pleasant minty taste. Being only 1% hydrogen peroxide it doesnt cause me any sensitivity problems which I like. It does however leave me with a severely dry mouth which no amount of rinsing or drinking water seems to fix. So i use a different toothpaste after the optic white to solve the problem

The toothpaste comes in a squeeze tube with click open lid. The toothpaste is not recommended for children. It is a fluoride toothpaste that can help teeth go 3 shades whiter after 4 weeks of use. Used twice daily brushing thoroughly, at least 2 minutes. It is white with a thick consistency. Luminous Mint in flavour, it's great. I love full mint, it's cool and refreshing. Tastes fantastic, great for fresh breath. Produces a froth foam when brushing, it feels kind of chalky. It cleans well with teeth feeling nice and smooth. Teeth are a little whiter, no big changes in whitening for me. It's still a good toothpaste, giving teeth a good clean and getting rid of germs and furry teeth build up. Made in Mexico from imported and local components.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like It [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have only been using this toothpaste for about a week and my teeth already look a shade whiter and noticeably brighter. i haven't had any sensitivity at all with the toothpaste and enjoy using it, its like any other toothpaste, maybe a little bit more of an intense mint flavour but that's the only difference! my teeth were a bit yellow before i started using this, but they were not very stained or discoloured, if your teeth are heavily stained and yellow i would recommend something stronger than this toothpaste, i used crest gentle routine white strips to remove the majority of my stains before using this (great but causes sensitivity). but i think this toothpaste is perfect to maintain and touch up my teeth.

I'm so happy with how it has whitened my teeth. Before my teeth were reasonably white in the middle (from previous whitening attempts) but still yellowish around the edges of each tooth, but this toothpaste got those edges up to the same whiteness as the rest which makes my smile look heaps better. I've been wearing red lipstick so much lately thanks to this toothpaste. The only reason I give it only 4stars is that I'm not sure about any other benefits from this toothpaste, probably need a separate one for cavity protection etc.

I actually enjoyed the different taste of the toothpaste, it was a nice, minty change from other toothpastes. I also absolutely loved the packaging and the wide flat top lid which makes it easy to stand on the bathroom counter. I waited until now to do a review to see if it lives up to its claims. The optic white comes in a decent sized tube, after use for four weeks I still have half the tube left so a good buy. On application it has a strong mint taste that can at times be overpowering and strong, as well as warming, and leave a strong taste. I found it quite overpowering but after a week I was use to it. The optic white toothpaste foams up a lot and so I found it hard to keep brushing for the recommend time- but I keep trying and was able to do so. The end result is fresh breath with cleaning looking teeth. Now this product works for me and leaves me with a whiter smile. Overall I would purchase this again, and recommend it for people with medium to light stained teeth, however I wouldn't purchase it every time for toothpaste. Unfortunately this toothpaste doesn't protect against cavities, and I think it leads to a little more sensitivty if your prone to it. I'm also pretty sure this would fade the whiteness of your teeth after a while. I would purchase this every 3-6 months or for a special occasion for a brighten up but not regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Colgate Optic White comes in a red squeeze tube with flip top lid that's easy to squeeze out with no mess. The paste is white with a frsh mint like scent that leaves my mouth and teeth feeling fresh and clean after each use. Using Colgate Optic White twice a day for over a month has left my teeth a few shade whiter and brighter than they were before using it. Age, life style and being a coffee drinker has seen my teeth discolour over time but Optic White definitely brightened my teeth like it claims to do. Optic White is unlike other whitening toothpastes I have tried as it works well and I will continue to use it due to the positive results it's given my teeth. It leaves me happy when flashing a smile because I know my teeth look clean and fresh.

The taste is different from the normal mint toothpastes and I found it took a while to get use to. It is a very strong taste. It also feels like the product heats up when used. Was not prepared for that the first time I used it and I still don't really like the sensation. But overall I will continue to use this product as it gives great results.

When I'm home I'll often brush my teeth if I'm craving something sweet, as it takes that craving away and I'm doing something good for my teeth to boot. I do prefer natural toothpastes though. Have a read of most toothpaste ingredient lists and perhaps you'll understand why. I wouldn't eat anything with those chemical ingredients listed, so why brush my teeth with it? But in the interest of gaining whiter teeth, I though I'd give Colgate Optic White a go. Colgate claims this toothpaste contains the whitening ingredient dentists use, a 1% hydrogen peroxide formula. They state that after 4 weeks of using it twice a day teeth can be 3 shades whiter, and that it will remove stains that other toothpastes don't. As a coffee addict I could use some teeth whitening. The flavour, described as Luminous Mint, is really fresh, but stronger than I am used to, and somehow different. There is an extra flavour which really took some getting used to. At first I didn't like it, but after 4+ weeks I am used to it, and would probably not find my natural toothpastes strong enough. The paste makes my teeth feel silky smooth and clean, and my breath fresh. I'll sometimes wake up with bad breath even after brushing and rinsing the night before, but I noticed that when using this toothpaste my mouth still felt relatively clean and fresh in the morning. But the most important aspect is that I did notice whiter teeth after 4 weeks of use. To my annoyance and delight. Annoyance as how can I go back to natural chemical free toothpaste after this. Delight as I have whiter teeth. That slight yellowing I had noticed is now gone, replaced with a more creamy white, especially on the edges of my teeth. I am hoping that with continued use my teeth will become even whiter and brighter. I'm still cringing at the ingredient list, but for the remainder of this tube I will overlook that. When it comes time to purchase a new toothpaste, who knows? This one may just be at the top of my list. Thanks to BeautyHeaven for providing this for me to trial.

I have used Colgate Optic White twice a day, I noticed my teeth were a shade whiter, with other whitening toothpaste this was not the case. With sensitive teeth I was quite suprised with this product, there was no tingly feeling. I felt my teeth were clean as though they were cleaned by a dentist. The product was easy to use and quite effective. While using Colgate Optic White I felt that my mouth had a longer freshness and greater clean then when using other whitening toothpastes. It give me gums a tingly feeling, after using it i found my teeth ultra clean. Now regarding the whiteness or the hydrogen peroxide in it, i didnt find results straight away, okay i was a wuss and i didnt brush for the recommended 2 mins more 1 min plus, but slowly i found results. Guess what i have bought another! even though results were not instant i loved what the gradual result was!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trial Team [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging for this toothpaste looks great and very different to other whitening toothpaste on the market. When I first started using this toothpaste, it gives me a warming sensation while I brush my teeth and it tasted and smell a bit similar to those deep heat gel for massaging aching muscles. It's very interesting. After a few days of getting used to it, I started liking the clean and refreshing breath after brushing my teeth with Optic White. The whitening effect was not too an instant result but I can definitely see my teeth looking a bit whiter gradually. I will surely repurchase and introduce Optic White to my friends and family!
